Thank you so much for creating and sharing this tutorial. Consider just buying the perpetual license for MetaTune if you don't want the entire Slate subscription. Of course, if you DO want to pay the subscription for all the other stuff it comes with, that's up to you. Just wanted to let you know you can buy MetaTune by itself in a one-time payment
@@mgmg116 but what's with the other packs? So it's like paying every month over and over again but you never really get the full versions, even after years when you could have bought some of all of them? Cause then I think I'm just gonna buy it alone yes

When I do it in AutoTune, it's always jumpy and requires manual editing in order to tame, so that the vocal snaps to pitch correctly without jumping all over the scale I've set for it. T-Pain's vocals have always been done with AutoTune, but they always sounded so controlled and refined - obviously because the Graphic Mode was likely being used to clean up that "jumpiness". But you loaded up MetaTune, cranked it right up to 0ms, and I instantly recognized the "perfect T-Pain" sound. And considering how well it works with regular old vocal tuning, I'm strongly considering not upgrading AT or Melodyne in the future and just buying MetaTune instead. Anybody else feel the same way?
Something to note, don't just throw on autotune, or in this case, metatune, and call it a day. If you're looking for a more natural sound with metatune, do make sure that you have a good performance because it will push or pull to the nearest note within the scale, and they could sing a little too flat or sharp where it may hit the wrong note within the mix. So make sure you got a good performance or tune it up or down to the right note manually with melodyne or built-in vocal editor. Sometimes just going in and just pitch edit manually and having meta or autotune on top of it sounds even better and you can back off even more on the autotune settings or push it to be even more accurate in the context of the mix.
Absolutely. Sometimes if 2 notes are adjacent and the singer was closer to the “wrong” note, it will correct it to that note instead. It will still be in tune but completely throw off the melody. I’m lucky that I haven’t had this issue with metatune yet but it’s a good bit of advice to share!
Metatune verse melodyne. Make that video. I'd like to hear your thoughts. I've used melodyne for years now, it's a very good product. I'll check this one out as well.
@@musiccalgary it’s something that I would find useful and wouldn’t mind getting :) if you don’t feel the same that’s fine. That’s your business. Just handle it else where.
They're both acceptable, but this video shows that MetaTune blows both out of the water. It seems to be using a harmonizer-based audio engine like Melodyne does, but it also seems as if it was AI-trained because it's exceedingly good at narrowing down pitch drift and pitch modulation, which was the entire reason I bought Melodyne over AutoTune. Considering MetaTune is like $100 cheaper than AT, that's just another reason for me to consider never updating my Antares license and just buying MetaTune
Is this plug-in looking good in Windows, on 4K UHD displays? Does it take advantage of the display scaling set in Windows? Or will it look tiny or blurry?

Not really a melodyne replacement since you can't specify the note it's correcting to, but if you don't need too much correction these kind of tuners will do the job.
@@赤垢-x6e the point is not about the amount of missed notes, but about a million times you listen to your phrases over and over again, trying to understand whether you like it or not. Melodyne is also not to be replaced when you try to fake a note (sing G and then make A out of it) haha

Yeah the doubler is one of my favourite features in all honesty. It's designed for monophonic signals but you could feed a stem of vocals into this and "double" a whole group for thickness if needed. I have not tried this so do check for phase cancelling and make sure it sounds good in headphones and speakers too :)
Good question, I tired it with saturated vocals (not in this video) and it was good. I have not, however, tried it with heavily distorted vocals. There is a 3 day trial period if you wanted to test it out for yourself?

It's really amazing channel ✌️😍
This is well detail... But to just to note, I can't wait for this plugin to be free... It's mad fucking crazy! ⚡ ⚡
i see its easy to double vocals with this plugin, is there also an easy way to chorus vocals with more than 2 voices with this?
Yeah the doubler is one of my favourite features in all honesty. It's designed for monophonic signals but you could feed a stem of vocals into this and "double" a whole group for thickness if needed. I have not tried this so do check for phase cancelling and make sure it sounds good in headphones and speakers too :)
@@inthemix alright, thank you
Does MetaTune struggle with heavily distorted vocals?
Good question, I tired it with saturated vocals (not in this video) and it was good. I have not, however, tried it with heavily distorted vocals. There is a 3 day trial period if you wanted to test it out for yourself?
@@inthemix Oh, I didn't catch that. Thank you!
👍 - _also_ for the YT algo! 😊
How much is it pal?
