- KLM Trip Report from Vienna to Amsterdam onboard the "Baby-Boeing", the little Boeing 737-700, operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
A nice winter flight with KLM from Vienna to Amsterdam in economy class. Nice and comfortable onboard service and visiting one of the most known airports in the world: Amsterdam-Schiphol.

Por ahora tengo suficientes vídeos grabados para poder mantener 2 vídeos nuevos por semana durante unas 6-8 semanas desde hoy. Si la cosa no mejora y no puedo ir grabando nuevos vuelos tendré que empezar a "reciclar" de algún modo vuelos anteriores. Tengo ya alguna idea más o menos original. Ojalá no lleguemos a esos extremos.

Thanks, enjoyed it! Today, Vienna airport is almost shut down with all the shops and lounges closed.. :( Let's see where this ends. I always enjoy flying KLM though - last one was ARN-AMS-FOR on E190, 737-700 and A330-200. SAS used to operate 737-600 which we called "The Little Pig" but the last one was retired recently.
Yep, I know. Like almost every airport in Europe... it's what had to be done if we want to overcome this situation as soon as possible... =/

Por ahora tengo vídeos grabados suficientes para poder seguir ofreciendo 2 vídeos nuevos cada semana durante 1'5 - 2 meses desde hoy. Veremos a ver como evoluciona todo en el mundo de la aviación en este tiempo.
De no solucionarse todo en 2 meses desde ahora tendría que pensar en alguna forma de adaptarme a la situación. Alguna idea tengo ya.

Por aquí también estamos parecido. La situación Polonia no es como en España, es decir, las infecciones son mucho más bajas y las restricciones no son tan grandes, pero aquí la gente está aplicando cuarentena de forma voluntaria y sin que se le obligue a ello. Yo sólo salgo para lo estrictamente necesario, es decir, supermercado y farmacia.
Por ahora tengo vídeos grabados para ofrecer 2 vídeos por semana durante casi 2 meses desde ahora, así que en ese sentido no hay problema.

I was with my Brother in Amsterdam 15 Years ago , and i want to say it is a very beautiful and amazing City ! This was a Bustravel where we have seen Paris and London too ! On the way to London we have driving to Calais from Paris and then we have using the Ferry to crossing to Dover , and i have seen my first Time the impressing Cliffs of Dover ! Greetings from Vienna ! In Vienna we don,t have the permission to going outside except for shopping or going to work !

Pues la verdad es que no tengo ni idea de cómo va el tema de mantenimiento. Yo soy piloto y, hasta que comenzó esta crisis del Covid, era buen momento para sacarse la licencia.
Lo que está claro es que el mantenimiento a los aviones va a haber que hacerlo siempre, con lo cual, podría llegar a ser un puesto de trabajo más "seguro" que el de piloto, pues incluso ahora que no se está volando, la gente de mantenimiento me consta que siguen revisando diariamente los aviones para mantener su certificado de aeronavegabilidad...
Siento no poder decirte más al respecto.

Pues por ahora sin grabar vídeos nuevos, como no podría ser de otra forma. Por ahora tengo bastantes vídeos grabados que me permitirán "sobrevivir" sin dificultad entre uno y dos meses con 2 vídeos nuevos por semana. Si bien, es posible que comience a "reciclar" algunos de los mejores vídeos de alguna forma original: por ejemplo, si un viaje desde un sitio a otro consistió realmente en un viaje de 3 vuelos, puede que haga un vídeo incluyendo los 3 vuelos (que ya se encuentran con mayor detalle por separado en TH-cam).
No se, algo habrá que hacer. Por ahora, no hay problemas en el horizonte más allá de los que ya tenemos todos.

Yep, a real shame... but I guess it's what we deserve... we didn't take Covid seriously in Europe until it was too late... and these are the consequences. However, I really believe this won't last for really long.

Por ahora no tengo nada grabado desde/hacia Málaga y todos los vuelos que tenía reservados para hacer este mes de Marzo han sido, obviamente, cancelados por las aerolíneas.

I get all the info mainly from FlightRadar24, but also from the airport info screens.
I don't know the info in real-time, but searching the registrations at home when I arrive at the destination. I write the info on a word document and I save it with all the clips recorded, so when I go to edit the video I already have that info.

All is fine but the most crucial data is missing here and that is the date. I do hope it is before the Corona crisis, if not both the airline and the passengers are grossly negligent.

Can I get an update on the Asia long haul trip report? Did you cancel it due to COVID-19 or is it still under editing, or did the airline cancel the flight due to safety reasons?
I've never said that I was going to do any trip report to/from Asia. Maybe I've said that I was thinking about it, but I've never booked a ticket for that.
Definitely now is not the moment to fly anywhere. Perhaps after summer...
The -100 is short the -200 is a bit longer than the -100 but still short the-300 has the same length as the -700 the 400 is around the same length as the -800 the -500 and the -600 are like the -200 and the -900 is the biggest one ( not considering the max)

De primera mano decir que es una muy buena experiencia viajar en versiones "baby" de aviones como este 737. Aún recuerdo con añoranza el viaje de ALC a RTM y vuelta con Transavia en 737-7K2 (PH-XRZ en la ida, y PH-XRB en la vuelta). El 737-700 se hace monísimo en estética.
Por otro lado, ¿Merece la pena invertir un poco más por viajar con KLM?. Lo pregunto porque habiendo viajado con Transavia (que me parece buena en cuanto a servicio), no se si merece la pena por pagar un extra en trayectos operados por ambas.

Tengo muchas ganas de volar con Transavia. Espero poder hacerlo en cuanto se levanten las restricciones al tráfico aéreo. A ver si en 1-2 meses todo vuelve a la normalidad.

Bay is not referred to the age of the plane, but the size of it.
