Crossing the Geographic NP is one thing. I’ve done that but I also landed there. While on the ice I skied around the world! Only person to lay that claim to fame. No videos and no soundtrack. A couple of snapshots, great memories, and a logbook entry is all.

Excellent video, 16 hours non stop! I must be mad but I love very long haul flights, back in the eighties I flew frequently between Brunei Darussalaam and San Francisco mainly on Pan Am via SIN and HKG and being with an oil company usually flew business class, (occasionally wangled an upgrade). Nothing like a 15 hour flight from SFO to HKG especially looking forward to the landing at the old Kai Tak, landing through the streets!

Graciasssss nuevamente por el recorrido tan largo X2, no creo estar capacitado aún para algo así sin escalas 😅😅 estoy tan agradecido por tener como hogar, un país con mucho verde como lo tiene Colombia. En todo el recorrido poco, por no decir nada verde, parajes estériles, desérticos, ciudades grises y "secas" faltos del maravilloso verde de centro y Suramérica. Atención sobresaliente la de Qatar y muy agradable el interior de sus aviones, algo que no sorprende siendo una de las mejores aerolíneas del mundo, gracias x la experiencia😊👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👉🏿🇨🇴❤️

I’ve done DXB-LAX Polar route multiple times. It’s LESS brutal with A380 than any other plane like 777,350 etc. A380 is such an amazing plane. You can survive in economy without problem. Also, there are people who commonly travel from and to the US and may be that’s why they didn’t care to look out.
Excellent video, with lots of details. I flew to SF four or five minutes only I was looking at the map on the TV as opening the window would disturb the sleeping passengers. I observed that no one was interested to see these things.
Yeah, well, that's why I don't like the B787 dimmable windows. With the normal ones you can open just a little part to see outside with almost not disturbing anyone...
Loosing track of time flying over the North Pole and eating a nice hot pizza. Very long journey but you brought me to places I had never even heard of. Thank you again. Fantastic Airline.
This flight would be hell on the Qatar 777. The A350 seats are more comfortable and slightly wider. It looks so boring flying over nothing but ice for 3-4 hours! It's also funny you include the terminals before and after...seeing SFO arrivals after being in the Doha airport makes the US look like the developing country haha
haha Well, to be honest, almost any airport in the world compared to Doha, Singapore, new Abu Dhabi, Istanbul... look really bad haha The San Francisco International airport is quite nice I must say, especially compared to others in the US ;P I like a lot as well the LAX TBIT :)

Si, han habidomuchos incendios en California, (as usual) Que viaje tan divino! Todas las vistas han sido amazing, Zagros was incredible. Esas montañas deben ser super altas para aparecer tan cerca cuando volaban a 36 mil pies de altura. El avion y la comida fue increible. Otro vuelo WOW! Muchas gracias, amigo.
La verdad es que fue un vuelo bastante completo. El aeropuerto de Doha es impresionante. No tiene tantas fuentes y árboles como el de Singapur... pero tiene su propio estilo. La verdad es que me encanta. Me alegra que te haya gustado tanto el vídeo! :)

Yo en los vuelos soy como tú, no voy grabando (evidentemente), pero me paso todo el vuelo pegado a la ventanilla mirando el paisaje porque soy incapaz de dormir. Así que si alguna vez coincidimos en un vuelo, no vas a poder decir eso de que nadie más estaba mirando por la ventanilla, porque yo lo estaré haciendo!! jajaja un saludo, te vuelvo a repetir que tienes el mejor trabajo del mundo ;)
Australians find this talk about ULH cute. For most, a flight like this is one of two legs. 10 hours to Hawaii is medium, and my last flight from the USA was 15.5h BOS-HKG followed immediately by 9h HKG-SYD. QR does look excellent, especially the catering and entertainment options.

I love these trip report videos and I follow them a lot. I only wish that during the flight you would tell how long into the flight you are or how much longer the flight has to go a few times during the flight for more perspective based on the landmarks your fly over.

Me ha parecido un vídeo que aunque largo merece la pena por sus vistas y que para empezar las bonitas vistas sobre Doha espectaculares , pero lo que más me ha sorprendido ha sido la vista sobre los montes Elburz sobresaliendo su pico más alto de entre las nubes parecía de fantasía y también las vistas sobre el polo Norte . Y para acabar la aproximación al Aeropuerto de San Francisco . Cómo nota negativa diría lo guarros que son por cómo han dejado el suelo del avión . Un cordial saludo y buen finde.

I will say ,that Airbus is amazing especially how they are making the A330neo is becoming one of the best aircraft built, Boeing really took a dive!
Man these videos remind me of the few long haul flights I did. I miss flying
I like doing one ultra-long-haul every 5-6 months. More is too much haha

I love these trip report videos and I follow them a lot. I only wish that during the flight you would tell how long into the flight you are or how much longer the flight has to go a few times during the flight for more perspective based on the landmarks your fly over.

Me ha parecido un vídeo que aunque largo merece la pena por sus vistas y que para empezar las bonitas vistas sobre Doha espectaculares , pero lo que más me ha sorprendido ha sido la vista sobre los montes Elburz sobresaliendo su pico más alto de entre las nubes parecía de fantasía y también las vistas sobre el polo Norte . Y para acabar la aproximación al Aeropuerto de San Francisco . Cómo nota negativa diría lo guarros que son por cómo han dejado el suelo del avión . Un cordial saludo y buen finde.
