- Disabling the piezo alarm on Cen-Tech 400W inverter from Harbor Freight Tools.
Inverters like this will automatically shut off at low voltage to protect your battery, so disabling the warning alarm will not cause any problems.

Worked on a renoster 3000w pure sine. Fn thing would beep non-stop below 12v. Lifesaver !

Inherited one of these from my grandpa last year and took it along in the car to keep my laptop going today and found out the damn thing beeped. Just ripped that thing out in my car. Nice and quiet now, thanks!

thankyou - i'm about to try this on a powertech 360w from jaycar - omg at lower voltages etc it beeps and doesn't stop - the inverter doesn't shut down, it just beeps potentially for hours - what evil !@#%@%# designed something like this
These beep because the power voltage in the battery bank feeding them drops.
So... how much of the voltage dropping is just normal from the load going through, compared to indicating damage or problems with the setup?

it tell you when battery need charger i thinking i have inverter when the battery is low the inverter will tell me it will beep mean battery need charger
Anyone know how to disable the auto-shutoff in inverters? I've disabled the annoying beeper, but now I need it to stop shutting down.
The inverter was obviously designed to protect Lead batteries, but I am now powering it from batteries that can go much lower...but the inverter shuts down before I even use 50% of my batteries.
Not sure if they are just built into the circuit board, never to be adjusted...or if I should be looking for DIP switches, potentiometer that is maybe set at factory and glued in place.

It already has a low voltage shutoff feature. This is just to warn you when it starts getting low

If it's a stand alone battery that only gets charged by solar then I don't want the annoying alarm. I already have a nice quiet regulator on my solar line.

It's a low voltage alarm. Usually if the battery is discharged below 10.5 volts. To prevent any damage to the battery.
Everybody knows how to disable the stupid beeping if you had any balls you disable the low voltage cutoff
