  • How to Repair 2000W Sine Inverter
Today, I bought a broken 2000W inverter from a second hand store. I will show you how to fix it.
    Sửa kích điện 2000W.
    Facebook group : bit.ly/CreativeElectronic
    The repair steps
    -Check the fuse
-Check mosfet - Use a multimeter in diode mode. If a value of ~ 500 between pins D and S is a good mosfet, otherwise, replace the mosfet.
-Check the DC filter capacitor 12 - 24V
    -Check the 310V filter capacitor
    -Check fast diode
-Check PWM signal from SG3525 or TL494 (about 35Khz)
    -Check the H-bridge mosfet (310VDC - 220VAC)
-Check the SPWM module and driver ic.
Replace broken components and test with 12 - 24v power supplies at 1A current. If the fault is still, the 1A current cannot damage the inverter.
If you like my video, give me a cup coffee. Thank you very much.

Which is better, de-solidering the components and reading separately or reading the components directly on the board ?

Wow - lots of parts to swap out - something I or 99.99% of people would never do..great result though.
I only fix motherboards or power supplies if simple stuff like blown capacitors and maybe diode pack or fuse. Thanks for the detailed breakdwon though...very informative.

This is hilarious. I'm still waiting for delivery on a 2KW 72v dc to 220v ac unit like this I ordered about a week ago. May be I should have ordered another filter cap and some MOSFETs to go along with it. LOL

I also like the concise but very informative text you put in. Simple but super effective.

That style of clamp used to hold the MOSFETs and diodes to the heat sink is much more effective than just bolting through the mounting hole of the TO-220 package.

Anyway this took to long to figure out. For this guy anyway. I found three 30 Amp. Fuzes just like the one's in your car. And it was in the middle of the inverter and the middle was blown. That was the Jupiter 1500 watt from harbor freight.

Beautiful and straight forward repair. I burned a track from the on off switch of a 1500 pure sine wave. I was trying to attach an external switch for a battery generator project. Any way I reattached the track and I only get fault light to come on. No fan or power to the inverter. I did notice heat coming from pwm module ic. Could that be my only remaining issue? Thanks a bunch

Hello, first i want to thank you for this great tutorial. I have some questions about how this inverter works. Why there are so many transistors? Which ones are for H-bridge? Are the biggest ones or 75NF75(and if they are not, for what are they)? Also why there are 2 pcb for PWM? The most important question is how it becomes sine wave from PWM, because at the gates of MOSFET's u've got a pwm of 36kHz and some 71Hz on the second ones? I'm sorry for the many question, you are my only hope. Thanks!
