Great Video.. Well Done. I did not read all the posts below but here is a tip. I replaced my rear pads and rotors and brake sensor on my 2011 f01. When I followed this procedure it would report Reset Unsuccessful. I then released my Parking Brake and followed your procedure and then it Successfully Reset. Thank you!
I've watched this and Tried it several times, MY Rear Pads Light is RED, but the Pads are New a few months ago, it only goes as far as Resetting/Unsucessfull will not Reset, Help - I even tried it with my Zurich Code Reader - which ALSO said Reset available, it said sucessfull when I reset it, but the Red warning light is still ON my dash..Thanks
Nice, straightforward approach. Much appreciated!

Find a shop with a snap on Code Reader - You will need to put a NEW brake sensor cable on 1st
