    Just found your channel and love your open, honest style = new sub. Very comprehensive review - you touched on all the items a prospective new vehicle shopper should know about. You broke down the technical stuff so even I could easily understand. Outstanding work!

      Thank you for the compliment and for subscribing! It means a lot. And I'm really happy to hear you like my explanation of things. It's always hard to know if I've struck the right balance. Again, thank you!

    Solenoid doors... how do you get in if the battery dies? OK, you showed getting out if the power dies.

    Thank you for the great video! I “liked” and subscribed. It would be great if you could do a video showing some or all of the safety features in action!

      Thank you! Yeah, I hope to get a hybrid powertrain NX in the not too distant future and then I will leave adaptive cruise control on and show more of those systems.

    Gorgeous car

    How is the ride quality compared against the ES? They cost similarly and debating the two... Don't need the room and off road ability on the NX, but it just got a complete redesign. Thought?

      The non-F-Sport ES has a softer ride, but the NX ride is perfectly pleasant, just a touch firmer. Hope that’s helpful.

    Will i be able to mirror youtube videos from my Android phone onto the media console screen?

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I do not know, to be honest. But I did a little digging and from what I saw there is not a built in way to do it, but there are third-party apps that make it possible, yes. I googled "mirror smartphone to Lexus NX" and saw lots of options. I hope that helps.

    Were you able to have this car for a couple days, i see it snowed did you think it was good in the snow??

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I drove it a bit in the weather and it handles it with little trouble. Were I to own one, I'd get a set of winter tires and it would be a rockstar in the winter.

    Would you pick the gas version over the hybrid? how was your mpg?

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not yet driven the hybrid or plug-in hybrid version, but hope to soon and put together another review or two. In terms of fuel economy, I'm working on a video about that very topic. I can say now that it pretty much tracked with the city/hwy/cmb numbers of 22/29/25 mpg

    How was throttle response in regular driving ?

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Throttle response was about average. Not quite as good as BMW or Porsche, but generally competitive.

    How does it perform in moderate to deep snowfalls?

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I drove it in light snow, and it was totally fine. A good set of winter tires and I'm sure it would be a rock star.

    It is a decent car if you want to drive like your grandma. I made the mistake of buying a 2023 NX 350 F Sport on impulse. Why? ‘cause I’m an idiot. Actually, all in all it is not a bad car. However, there is a lot to dislike. Not the least of which is this: I bought this car in part because the Monroney sticker said I could tow 2,000 lbs. The car has been out for one year. There is still NO TOW HITCH available for the F Sport trim from Lexus or any other source. Bungee cords will not work, I think. I am furious and so far, I have gotten blown off by Lexus. The car is incredible slow off the line; with this kind of torque it should be at least .5 sec faster 0-60. Like a lot (most, all?) car makers they also pump fake engine noise into the cabin. So much for Lexus quiet. Road noise accentuated by the run flats. Wind noise is more than what you would expect from Lexus.

      I dont think it that way. If you drive safe relax and comfortable and have peace of mind buy this car. If you are crazy go with fast good driving stiff car that make your butt sore in long drives with no peace of mind whether it breaks suddenly get other cars. It needs to be fast to be able to get to the service fast when things feels not right

    Aren't the run-flat tires noisy?

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't find them to be, no. Perhaps non run-flat would be quieter, but these certainly weren't egregious.

    I can’t think of any real reason to get the nx over it’s rivals. Performance is lackluster as is handling, and practicality and interior refinement lags the competition as well. Plus it gets very expensive for what is just a rav4 at the eod.
    The fastest nx is as fast as a base Acura RDX that’s 20K cheaper than the nx.
    Even my personal Toyota is faster than most nx models and it’s about as fast as the fastest nx, it’s 20K cheaper, more luxurious inside, more refined, handles and rides better, more instant power with no lag, better engine sound as well, and it has a better gauge cluster, more legroom, and I personally prefer the older infotainment system because the new one lacks built in navigation for the price, no Home Screen, no physical buttons

    • @badongtagalog5737
      @badongtagalog5737 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see on almost all nx reviews talking nonsense.
      Rav4 refinement is not up to lexus level. Rdx is good driving and handling but noisy and stiff suspension and not as refined. Aside from that there are reliability issues with that car. I would also add the gv70, the one you like, has everything. Transmission issues, collision avoidance issue, brake issue and long list of problems. Hyundai has fire issues with their car so thst hyundai made gv70 is at risk also
