I can't live without my small Instapot, my small air fryer, my inductive cook top, and a small immersion blender -- plus a small refrigerator and freezer and a Kimberly wood stove. I can store a years worth of healthy food in a very small space. Healthy food is more filling so you don't need to eat as much, and actually, meal for meal, it can be less expensive over all. It tastes better, you feel fuller, it is healthier, you feel better, and you lose weight. I have an off grid base camp with a garden and a freeze dryer and a vacuum sealer. I live in my camper when I am at my base camp. One year I spent $40.00 on store bought food. This morning, I just cooked 8 oz of a combo of (high protein) hemp seed, quinoa, and sushi rice. I cooked it for 13 min on the rice setting of my instapot. Then I stir fried it for five minutes like fried rice with some chopped green onions and vegies, on my inductive cook top, adding some Bragg liquid aminos. It was a good tasting and totally balanced meal. Congratulations on your progress, kid.

Nice system. I'd ventilate the system, DCDC chargers/invertors produce a bit of heat and could compromise their efficiency and longevity if not properly ventilated.

Cool to see more of the build. Always fun for me to see the mechanical / behind the scenes stuff.
Hope all is well. Enjoy your adventures.

Watching this as I’m working on my 300ah build out. I’ve always been scared of electricity like it’s magic haha but videos like this help me be more confident. Cool to see uploading more though, your build out of the truck helped me a lot.

Lol “stealth” in that truck. 😂. Clean power install. 400ah seems to be the sweet spot for digital nomad builds. It’s what I’m running too and powering my mobile office daily and charging an e-bike etc. I’m not doing induction but I am running a 12v water heater and I’ve stayed in one spot for two weeks without having to start the truck. You’ll be happy with that bank.

Yeaah it really sucks. I'm fairly certain my name is shadow banned within TH-cam for the word "Badass".

any chance you have more footage of how you all built the Door/steps i am also building very similar set up just was curious how you got them to over lap to seal. by the way if you have not figured out a way to stop the top from leaking. I would take the hinges off again and instead of the 2 spacers you have first make a drip edge equal to the hight of the door silicon the back side of it then trim one side where the hinges go to clear them but use silicone or i would use an RTV sealant it stays pliable longer or something like a polymer based. around the hinges so when the rain rolls off the roof it will hit the highest point hinge area then roll to the 3/8 angle lip forcing it to run to the left and right side of the door.

Hard to see what ventilation system was installed to vent the inverter? I was shocked to see a hammer crimp used for the terminals vs a hydraulic crimper.

Awesome system Cristin! What are you running for your starter battery? Have you gone lithium there as well?

I'm obviously not Cristin but if I may, lithium under the hood is a bad idea simply because the extreme temperatures there really shorten the life of the battery. I recommend AGM batteries under the hood because they can stand up to the tough environment there.
