I’ve been through some hard times and always put on some Dave Mathews and see that smile and jiggle dance and I feel so much better. They carry me away from all the pain. Who needs a Calm app when you have music.

Tim Reynolds makes a guitar sound like a monkey messin around and somehow manages to touch my soul in the process.
I return to this video often. I love Hugh's take, the space the band gives him, and Dave's reverence for the maestro. Never was a fan of this song until this version. THIS version is possibly my favorite song by the band.

We're aware of the phenomenon of Bass face, but here we truly get a glimpse of Dave Face at 5:10. Incredible band. I'd argue it worked for so long because of the joy, sincerity and humanity the oozes from their music. What a thrill.
