Absolutely incredible. And the craziest thing is I was at the Saratoga show the night before this for my very first Dave show in 2001 I was 13..i was one day away from experiencing the most incredible Dave moment by one day. Nothing tops this. Boyd's face when Dave is going makes me laugh and cry at the same time he has this look that is absolutely pure joy and awe to be up there in that moment. Absolutely mind blowing

Yeah idk. This a great version, but i think musically speaking, their 2002 version from The Gorge is better. If only for Carter's massive gap in technicality from this version to that. Either way u put it tho they ALWAYS NAIL this song and is one of if not the best in their entire catalogue imo

Quite possibly the best live DMB performance of all time. It’s amazing to me that Dave can sing at all anymore after belting out like this. He’s clearly blown out his vocal chords bc of the way he went all out like this night after night but i will still go to see them every single time they come around! I've listened to most seek up versions on TH-cam. This by far is the best. No disrespect to current or past members but this lineup in the best. From Boyds haunting violin to Dave's rant and then Lerois filtered octave sax. All kept together by Butch's jazz fed piano.

The most memorable part of the show. I was partying hard but this stuck with me. We were lucky to find an mp3 of the show. Never thought there'd be video as well. Awesome.
Absolutely magical, words cannot describe how flawless this Seek Up is. Roi was one of a kind, so very very smooth. These days are long gone, they exist now only in our memory and on TH-cam.
I won tickets to this show from the kocal radio station &!was the ahole down front who kept yelling "seek up!" --- im so greatful this footage exists! thx for posting!!

Amazing eclectic one of a kind band ! Love the whole feel of this but the drumming on this is otherworldly. ! The tone textures and dynamics in his touch are so special ! What he does on the hi hat alone is sheer genius ! Can’t explain how much this performance moved me ! Interesting beautiful playing by all. Carter you are a one of a kind musician !

Listening AGAIN to this masterpiece of a song. Seek Up has always been my favorite DMB song and this version is right up there with the very best. A prime example of when a 20 minute version of a song is not long enough. Thank you DMB ❤

i have became a dave matthews fan a few years ago and i have been to a concert of his but when i heard this version of this song i knew i was hookd on this band. they remind me of the greatful dead. cant wait to see them again.
