This is most likely the cause, while this is not always the issue it really doesnt hurt anything to replace it. It also depends on where the wiring is located and trype of vehicle because a wire can be shorted but not likely

My 2011 Explorer B/U camera works fine but the lines have disappeared. It still even beeps when backing up, still the camera? Thanks & great channel!

9 times out of 10 even though most everything else may be working as it should as you stated but the guidance lines are not it is more than likely your camera is having issues still. please note that this is not strictly a diagnosis video for anyone/everyone it is just to help others that may be having these symptoms and do not know what to do. Sounds easy but I have 2013 Focus hatchback I can’t figure out how to get all the plastic moldings off to get to the camera.

You must remove all the interior hatchback trim to expose 410 mm bolts that will allow you to remove the whole assembly

Just wondering if you have a fix just for the active guidelines if those stop working. I have guidelines but the active guidelines that curve when you turn the steering wheel have disappeared.

I’m having a problem with the rear view camera on my 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The image on my screen is reversed, I.e., objects on my right behind me show up on the screen as being on my left ( mailbox for example). I’ve tried to find a setting on my dash and steering wheel controls that would flip the screen, but no luck and no mention of this issue in my owner manual. Photo is clear and steady, just reversed. Help?!?!?

⁠yes same message I took mine apart it’s a 2014 with spoiler there was 5 number 10 bolts but 4 white tabs not sure how to reach them or what kind of tool to get to it. I seen several replacements cameras but not sure what one they go anywhere from 250 to as low as 60.

You're absolutely 100% incorrect. Without programming at the dealer you will not have guidelines moving guidelines or Zoom

That’s not true it’s so many plug n play camera I bought one from Amazon for 50 bucks no more problems and everything works

@@brandonsmith6962 a factory original camera which is what we're talking about bought from a Ford dealership will not have guidelines, the model communicates with the BCM that must be programmed or will not have guidelines or Zoom feature....I do about 10 a week for 10 years. After market cam sometimes work but not always.
