- The following video is the culmination of over 2 months of my life. I probably could have done it faster, but I am certain I could not have done it any better.

If you're wondering why the timer in the corner is so messed up, it's because I had Delete bound to pause the timer, which is also the key you use to delete units.. whoops.

Your point on the RTA optimization is so real. I did two runs while trying to get the TGG campaign WR, the first run I beat the WR's IGT in 3/4 levels. The second run I turned off music, played 640x480, installed low-poly mods, stared at the corner of the map, and beat the wr while losing plenty of IGT. There is nothing more I want in this game than IGT+menuing used as the timing method.
On a related note, this video also told me the secret to actually getting the editor glitch (middle clicking hovering on a unit) which I think your SRC guide didn't, so I went and grabbed some IL records. Maybe if I'm bored one day I'll take you up on the offer to steal some of these.

Yea, the leaderboards are a bit of a mess. I think everyone is for switching Full Campaign to IGT, but nobody is actively running Full Campaigns enough to care. The time save is incredibly inconsistent and nobody wants to reset 3 hour runs to get good RNG.
And here's the thing. For whatever reason, my copy of the game isn't showing IGT anymore. I don't know if they updated EE or what, but even though switching to IGT would disproportionately hurt my times, I'm still in favour of it.
I'm curious if you just missed that section in my guide, or if I just didn't explain it clearly enough. But I checked, and the explanation is right at the start. Obviously having visuals makes it 1000x easier to understand, but if I need to reword the guide, please, let me know.

@@vhoul On second look, it does say to hover your cursor over an object. I think I might just be blind then. I do think that the visuals make it way easier to understand, so I might recommend linking to that part in your video in the guide?
For your ingame time, the only thing I can think of is have you tried hitting F11 (without any mods enabled; idk if that actually effects it) cause that turns the timer on/off.
@@Berix I do recall editing the guide recently, where I think some new formatting changes to speedrun.com really messed with parts of my guide. That was probably one of the affected areas. I might add a link, but I'll have to think about it. Might also just go ahead and make an extensive Editor Glitch Tutorial.

@@vhoul yeah. They won't only improvement the graphics, algo they gonna rework some mechanics (didn't say which ones) and make new ones. So.. probably no more Glitch Editor 😞😞😞
