I’ve been following you for a while now Norm, want you to know that your videos have graduated to an awesome level Sir, appreciate your dedication to make them so enjoyable, thank you.
So good, so good! Thanks again for all of your work making these excellent videos happen! You must get some satisfaction from making them, but there must also be some times when you would rather just let it go for a while. So thanks for keeping us coming along for the ride! Too bad those oval air tight wood stoves are not made anymore. They're so effective! You have a collector's item at your tent frame! :)
Thanks for the great videos. I trap also but just close to home. Rarely do I comment on videos but I have a couple of ideas for you. You drill holes in the river to get water. What if you used a drill powered pump to get the water in your jugs. The pump would needed to be brought inside to dry out. Second idea would be if your foxes are bold enough to go into a box cubby would they not go into a lynx style cubby made from dead spruce limbs. Using several entrances with snares could result in in multiple catches rather than eaten catches. Just some ideas from the east. Thanks
thanks for taking us along for the ride Norm!!! i look forward to your videos of the great white north & the critters you see & catch!!! be safe out there
I want to thank you for your videos. I really injoy them I used to trap went I you was younger here in Alaska by myself put I Never went out as far as you do. I would get Coyotes lynx wolverine and beaver I sure miss it. I'm 70 yrs old now, but I just can't do it anymore. Have a bad back. But I can watch you and remember. Keep yourself safe. Hope you catch lots .👍👍👍
I love your videos, the scenery is unbelievable with the snow on the trees, blue skies, cold temps. You are lucky to enjoy the cabin and all the memories of your family.
We always hide a coffee can of sand with the potbelly to put in the bottom of the stove. Makes them last bit longer. Read an article in cbc that those stoves are discontinued.😢 Great video today and the review on Bluetti.
With all the turmoil in the world right now, your videos & adventures are the perfect way to unwind & restore some peace & sanity thru the beauty of nature in your part of our great country! Much appreciation & thanks Norm! 👍(p.s. I was wondering if you have tanned any of your furs for yourself or others?)
Thank you for another great video. The crunch of the snow, the wind blowing through the spruce trees, and the ice crystals in the air are soothing sounds for me. Thank you Norm for all that you do to bring us the videos. Oh and great review of the Bluetti. I was wondering how the work and if it would be something to consider for the moose camp.
Excellent Vid Norm. It's very inspiring to see such a great look at another part of the country. Your vid on the power bank was actually extremely helpful in understanding how they work and what they are capable of. More so than a quick 2 minute mention in the middle of another vid. Safe travels and blue skies
I’m glad it could help. I didn’t want to get into the technical details of it. There are many features but people want the real deal. Not some fancy talk about it.
Exactly. Just the real deal info. Even your comments about how it was packaged tells a lot about the goods. Your video had what I would call "trustworthy" information about the product from a perspective of an actual user.
Just up River at tp falls the trout fishing is amazing in the summer I heard. No idea where they go in the winter. Just thought I’d try a little jigging for the hell of it.
Dang, Norm... wanna trade lives?? I know you are living the dream but did you know you are living a million more?? I used to have a little 2 man fly in camp I built for salvaging logs out of the BC coast mountains that I placed in the trees with a helicopter. I ran a small generator to power it. Worked alone most of the time. Besides my dog, it became my one of best friends listening to the distant drone of it running at night. I'd feel lonely with that Bluetti me thinks. Then again... i didn't have a TV either. LOL Awesome content, film and editing as usual buddy. Thanks ever so kindly. 👍👏
I totally get the generator thing. It took me a bit to get used to it myself. Sometimes we get stuck in our ways, I like those ways sometimes. Like the sound of a Coleman lantern in a tent. Take care God
we always called them ashley heaters, may of been a brand name ,burned out fast if no sand in the bottom.lid would just rattle on top of the stove if it got really red hot
Agreed on the sand but I have no sand available here. Never heard them called that. I remember my dad getting sand from the shore for his stove when I was a kid. Fun times
Hats off to the production crew on this one Norm. I hope they get paid well. You, I mean they are doing a great job. Glad you did the Video on the Bluetti, I am going to look into them.
Great, great video !!!, man Norm, I’d so much like to experience that Cold and those woods or “barrens” as I believe they’re called. Liked the Bluetti video too. Take care out there, stay well, drink that tea !!!!!!…….dave
We had a 4 day sub zero f streach. We went down to neg 27 f one nite...northern wisconsin I went through alot of firewood. My 1979 Earth Stove wood burner kept it at 72 in the living rm but 64 in the bedroom. That was the coldest streach in 30 years

@truenorthlivingmanitoba so you yous to stay in the wood shed? It's alote of work for you especially that you could only go in the winter. Would you be able to get their with a Argo? If not you will have to get a portable saw mill and bring it up in the winter and then get dropped of in the spring by helicopter 🤣 and then we can get summer videos 🤣👍
@@rackman5111 Yes it was my first trapping shack. Time to restore it. Nothing to do here in the summer but get eaten alive by bugs. 😂 I’d be here in the summer if a lake was out front.

It definitely is a lot of work, but it’s fun and I love the challenge.
Those stoves are still made in Winnipeg by Great West Metals
fact check yes they are done, the re-tooling Co shut down so after 100k stoves they could not make more, most export was to Chile in later years.
Thanks Norm for ur interesting shows say hi to Charlie from me
