Omg! Little behind in watching your videos. This tank is AWESOME. I love all those fish. I've had peacock gudgeons. They're one of my favorite fish. Been considering gobies. This is totally my vibe. Love, love, love this. Great job!
This tank looks absolutely awesome! I was so excited to hear Gudgeons & Gobies! Gudgeons are my absolute favorites!. I started keeping them about 4 yrs ago. I recently started keeping gobies about 6 mos ago. Great idea guys!
Random but at all my local pet stores I’m told gobies have to be alone because they’re territorial? I got a singular bumblebee because the lady had told me I can only have one in my 20 gal
Hey guys, as a flooring guy, I'd suggest a vinyl click. They're water friendly and you can get them with a good bit of padding on the underside which helps with echoes and it doesn't get nearly as chilly as conventional vinyl and or tile. Oh and I actually keep Empire Gudgeon and peacock Gudgeon in a heavily planted 40. Probably my favorite species. God bless
Awesome volcanic island scape! Want to get empire gudgeons to go with parkinsoni and Lake Aytingo' rainbows Only trouble with the empires is that you get maybe two or 3 fry. Have 6 Australian desert gobies on order.
Love, love, love this! The fish are so cool and show up very well. I have thought the plecos needed wood to munch on. No? I would kill for the laser corys! ❤️
One of the best scapes I've ever seen! I absolutely LOVE all the fish, the Gobies and Gudgeons are stunning!! You two knocked it out of the park!! Beautiful and informative video as usual. Keep up the great work.😊😊😊❤❤❤
You've both done an excellent centre rescape & the centre is designed beautifully ❤ Your Gobie was most likely born with the disfigurement but as long as they can move & eat as well as the other's they'll last as long, I have 2 gobies myself & mine seem fine with salt added, such an excellent healer. All 3 tanks do you proud ⭐ 👍
silicon carbide is an inert naturally occurring black sand that is also manufactured for sand blasting. Available in multiple sizes from .01 to .09 inch. Available at sandblasting supplier locally and very economical
It won't scratch it more than any other gravel. The rumors about sensitive barbels are just that. Silicon carbide won't do any harm to corys or any other bottom dwellers. The edges are not as sharp as broken glass.
Wow!The gallery is looking so great! That scape might be one of my absolute favorites to date! I wouldn't mind sometime a tutorial on Joanna's techniques for painting that brick ;) Gorgeous!
Yall should get the black diamond blasting sand from tractor supply. It’s waaaaay cheaper than petco or petsmart prices and it’s exactly the same stuff. Comes in different sizes even.
I had to take apart my 75 gallon because we are moving. As I was taking out my Cory Cats I originally had 11 but lost 2. I sold them thinking I only had 3-4 but ended up finding 9. Those things love to hide!
I have 2 snakehead gudgeon, a gold bar gudgeon, and 2 purple gobys in my one of my 75s and they are my centerpiece. Absolutely love em! Highly recommend if anyone finds em. The gold bar is kind of a grump, otherwise the others are wet pets
??? Another beautiful arrangement and entertaining video! Question - do the bristlenose plecos need wood? I added an oddball piece of wood to a tank for the pleco because I thought he required wood. Appreciate you!
hey, Aussie gudgeon keeper here, these tankmates are not a great idea, the purple spotted gudgeons, even at their current size are big enough to eat those peacocks, when I breed purples, I feed the pairs feeder fire tail gudgeons of that size to get them spawning, they eat at night when the lights are out so the small fish will slowly just disappear and wont be noticeable at first, they are pretty voracious predatory fish, also very aggressive when they spawn and will knock the scales off tank mates. the Snake head gudgeon (Giuris margaritacea) (you refer to as a rainbow gudgeon) is probably only half grown, they easily get a foot long, it can also potentially eat the peacocks at current size but, unlike the purples, will grow much larger
I’ve had purples as far back as 30 years ago. What I have found interesting about them is they rarely went after fish the size of a peacock gudgeon - especially if the fish were in the same tank from the start.
Jason I see you’re using an OASE canister on the low boy. I replaced the return & uptake from my Biomaster with Sicce counterparts. I found the Oase parts did fit “snugly “. Otherwise I m very happy with the performance of the Biomaster Thermo 250.
Absolutely love this tank! What is the scientific name or snother name for what you were calling a "Rainbow Gudeon" because when i look that up all that is coming up is peacock gudeons and i want to do research on the larger ones you have so i can maybe purchase one for my 55 gallon tank. Thank you!
Simply beautiful! Thank you! Do you have a scientific name for the largest rainbow gobies? I'm having trouble finding them on line... Thanks in advance!
Oh wow! it looks “fintastic”!! 😉🤩 I’ve been wanting peacock gudgeons but they are $28 each at my LFS. They said one would be fine in my 10 or 20 gallon community tanks, is that true?? 🤔
Do you worry about the purple spotted jumping out of the tank? Mine goes nuts when I feed him and has more than once jumped and smacked his head into the glass lid while eating
I love those fish. Tank looks great! I still can't find anyone that can help me figure out how to stock an old 40gal tall. It's 30L×24T×12W. Actually I think its39.5 gal but I'm fully planting it out so probably won't stock it until spring. And suggestions for top and middle tank would be welcome. Thanks ❤️ you guys. Liz
@@PrimeTimeAquatics I was thinking may swordtails I've never done those. What would maybe be something that could go with. I'll do Corey's and probably a bristle nose pleco for the bottom dwellers. Panda cores maybe?

I love the Gudgeons and Gobies theme! The scape turned out awesome!
I love it, it looks like an underwater mountain or volcano. It’s perfect for the fish.
I love lowboys. That island in the middle with the flow going around is awesome!
How did I miss this? 😮 That looks great!
Thanks 😀
fantastic arrangement, very awesome inhabitants too. The words Gallery Showcases come to mind.
Thank you!
What a beautiful tank! Well done! ❤
Has to be one of my favorite tanks I've ever seen! Shallow tanks are my favorite and I LOVE gudgeons and gobies 😍 Very cool!!
Thank you!
I love the new scape! Very nice 🐠 🌱🏔️ 🌱 🐟
I like the Purple Spot Goby, they have similar colors to the Markurdi Longfin I have. Love the whole tank!
Awesome setup. And stunningly beautiful fish. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Another great tank! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
Omg! Little behind in watching your videos. This tank is AWESOME. I love all those fish. I've had peacock gudgeons. They're one of my favorite fish. Been considering gobies. This is totally my vibe. Love, love, love this. Great job!

I love the way their imperfections don't bother you. As for the echo, I hardly noticed it.
Good to hear!
I love this video. It inspired me to start a goby and fudge on tank. I’m doing tons of research right now. Thank you both
Adore my Peacock G..nice tank

Gorgeous tank. I'd have to have a little turtle in there.
Whoa that dude is a unit
Saw these today at a lfs here in Japan and you were immediately my go to as always when I need to research fish. You guys are awesome!
Thank you!
You two are my favorite fish keepers. I love what you are doing in the fish room.
Thank you!
I've been planning a 75 gallon scape for several months. I would trade all the aquarium crap I've bought so far for this exact scape, misfits and all!
I love the big gobies
For my 75 gallon, I used Black Diamond blasting sand (black) from tractor supply. $12.99 for 50lbs. It does need rinsed before using.
My faveeee video! AWESOME JOB! The tank looks great
Thank you!
Love, love, love this! The fish are so cool and show up very well. I have thought the plecos needed wood to munch on. No? I would kill for the laser corys! ❤️
Bristlenose don’t. They like it, but don’t need it.
Love the theme!
Also, I love the AI lights. All my tanks have them. They make a difference. The shimmer they provide makes the tanks look great.
I agree!
.... Now I need a new tank to devote to purple spot gobies... They're BREATHTAKING. DANG IT! I JUST got a new tank and now I need another one.
I love the foot print of that tank. ❤
Love those fish!!🤩those gobies are so amazing looking😍Great job on the tank guys!!
lowboy looks awesome love the middle island, and fish look cool, great work👍
Thank you!
I like what you’ve done to the place! The lowboy looks very cool. The fish are fantastic. I don’t think I’ve ever run across them before.
The rockwork looks stunning and an interesting choice of inhabitants just add to the look of this centrepiece set up!
beautiful aquarium!
I miss the fish room but the gallery is shaping up. Looks great. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Great job with the tank…love the selection of fish and plants!!!
All the gobies being unique adds to the tank I think! Theyre like the tough guys thatve lived through some things lol
Yes! 😀
Oh, I really like how that turned out!
Looks amazing!
Thank you!
Beautiful beautiful beautiful love the scape and the fish 👍👍
Love the scape and fish combo! 🙂👍
I love it! Especially the Empires and the Peacocks. The scape turned out awesome.
Well done on the scape, I love it. Thanks for sharing. Purple Spotted Gudgeon is one of my favorites also.

I love this scape! I am putting together a couple tanks for newts, and this is inspirational!
Great to see some Australian fish 😊
I love, love, love the new low boy! :)
Awesome tank, awesome video! The fish look great and the shape of the tank is really neat. I love seeing the cories cruising along
Great work guys love the Gobi & Gudgeon theme !!! 🔥❤️🔥🔥😎👌🏼
Your gallery is really coming together so well! That hardscape looks amazing, and the low boy is a great centerpiece tank. Beautiful fish😍
Thank you!

Happy Sunday :) Love the tank and what beautiful fish! The gallery looks great!
Thank you!
I love this setup❤❤❤. Absolutely beautiful!
Awesome tank! Love the look and fish. Looks bigger than a 50 gallon
gorgeous tank!
You guys should do a short on paradise fish (paradise gourami)!
What a great collection of fish! 😀
Looks great! My peacock gudgeons are mean. I’m down to 2 in their own tanks. Attacked each other and other fish (tail nipping).
wow! nice setup and fish.
silicon carbide is an inert naturally occurring black sand that is also manufactured for sand blasting. Available in multiple sizes from .01 to .09 inch. Available at sandblasting supplier locally and very economical
It will scratch your glass and if you have any fish that interact with the substrate it will cause injury to them.
It won't scratch it more than any other gravel. The rumors about sensitive barbels are just that. Silicon carbide won't do any harm to corys or any other bottom dwellers. The edges are not as sharp as broken glass.
I love what you guys are doing. Looks great!
I love when these two do videos together. You get the expertise of both
It turned out amazing!! I love it!❤
Wow!The gallery is looking so great! That scape might be one of my absolute favorites to date! I wouldn't mind sometime a tutorial on Joanna's techniques for painting that brick ;) Gorgeous!
Thank you! Maybe we can do a quick tutorial of the brick - we still have a little left to do. 😀
Looks amazing, great work 👏
Yall should get the black diamond blasting sand from tractor supply. It’s waaaaay cheaper than petco or petsmart prices and it’s exactly the same stuff. Comes in different sizes even.
Definitely can use some sound proofing on the ceiling and floor. 🙂 Cute fish, too!
Just got some small area rugs in. Should help. 😀
The echo is not bad!
Good to hear 😀
This is one seriously sexy tank.
I had to take apart my 75 gallon because we are moving. As I was taking out my Cory Cats I originally had 11 but lost 2. I sold them thinking I only had 3-4 but ended up finding 9. Those things love to hide!
Yes they do!
Gudgeon, and Gobi and Coreys, oh my, dungeons, and Gobis and Corey‘s oh my gudgeon and Gobe and Coreys oh my……….. we’re off to see the wizard
This room looks like the fish section of the museum in animal crossing
Gudgeons and Gobies? GG.
Looks great!! 💯💪
I have 2 snakehead gudgeon, a gold bar gudgeon, and 2 purple gobys in my one of my 75s and they are my centerpiece. Absolutely love em! Highly recommend if anyone finds em. The gold bar is kind of a grump, otherwise the others are wet pets
That is awesome!
Love the vids and the podcast! I've been binging it the last month
Wish I could find a lowboy tank in my area
??? Another beautiful arrangement and entertaining video! Question - do the bristlenose plecos need wood? I added an oddball piece of wood to a tank for the pleco because I thought he required wood. Appreciate you!
They don't need it the way other plecos do, but they sure do like it!
Rainbow Coelacanth !!!
BEAUTIFUL scape…and GORGEOUS fish‼️‼️
Question…are the Gudgeons prone to jump, especially since you have them in a low aquarium?
Not really - they seem to do ok.
I miss my peacock gudegeon pair. RIP Swimothy and Finelope.
Did your purple-spots grow their fins back? Love the d&d theme! ⚔️
Ya they are growing back!

Beautiful aquarium. However, would the purple spotted gudgeons eat the other fish? I think they got big mouths
They’re about full grown now and have been with those fish since the beginning. Haven’t had any issues with them.
Great job on the low boy. How often do you have to top off the water?
Once per week - it’s evaporating a LOT!
Absolutely love this tank!

That stuff came from a wholesaler a while ago.

They haven't but I found my large rainbow goby on the ground. :-(

What about fan dance goby it be a stunner in there
Where do u get those huge purple spot gobies?
I got them from a wholesaler a year or two ago.
Would it be ok to put a pair of peacock goedgens in a 10 gal with some rasboras
Should work ok
Nice looking tank. I hope none of these species are jumpers.
Nope - they’ve been in that tank a long time.
