They need to upgrade the ai, get rid of the rolling races starting from the back, add long races like the ones at last mans etc for all tracks in the game, add grand valley, double the amount of races in the sport mode and make them more frequent, make it offline, and add more 90s cars although that's just a personal preference. The game could be so much more than it is now.
New viewer here, basically got PS5 just to play GT7 and I must say I'm not disappointed. As you've stated in the video, it's mostly for the sake of driving and oh boi do I enjoy driving in this game. A lot of people mention microtransactions, but I don't really get it as you get a ton of credits by doing challenges & circuit experiences. So unless you spend all your credits on getting rare cars that you probably won't drive as much, then I see no issue. However the only downside for me is the AI & lack of qualifying in solo campaign races/custom races. Why should I fight from the back through 20 cars with only 3-5 laps to go? Problem with that is that the further AI is located the faster it will be because for some reason AI does slow down & occasionally does a lot of mistakes when you're close to it. If the gap is more than 10 seconds it gets a lot faster. Yes, I could lower the difficulty, but that might make whole thing trivial. In any case, quality content you have here! I enjoy your videos a lot!
@Formula Digital Also I've been waiting for the 32 Ford Roadster to show up at the Legendary car dealership and so far no sight of it even though I have the engine swap for it, also I've been trying to get the Bugatti invitation on the Raffel Ticket so that I can buy it and get my engine swap but instead it keeps landing me on some crappy prize as always.
Review bombed because micro transactions. I’m not a completionist and don’t care if I can’t get all the cars, so long as what I can get is worth it..and it is. Amazing AI with sophy, top notch physics and tracks, the best console controller control in gaming (gyro) … well done VR mode, it’s my all time favorite racer.. Finally getting a wheel, primarily for this gem.
I play both Forza and GT and sadly this is very poor compared to earlier games in the series its not as bad as the Metacritic score would suggest but it has failed to deliver what it promised Forza in my opinion is by far the better game for content it has so much more to do, twice as many cars, 24 car lobbies the list goes on and on, 3 weekly races is a joke on Forza the track changes every race. You can even get the rammers banned which would be useful in this game as the penalty system is broken, Pd really need to pull their finger out for the next instalment
Lol, Forza 7 multi-player implementation was literally the laughing stock of racing community...GT sports completely overshadowed FM7 with its near perfect multi-player implementation and GT7 is the same, GT is the place to play if you are interested in online racing on consoles.....There's a reason why FM7 got delisted lol
@@vyasrushi5177 I have played both games and that is my opinion it is no longer supported and you can still race 24 car lobbies rather than a paltry 16, instead of 3 daily races on the same 3 tracks the tracks change every race, the lobbies are not regionally but worldwide, unlike you I have played both games for years and this gt is still broken, now if the next Forza is broken I will say so we will have to wait and see

The online sucks. Gt series made its name on a career mode with tons of races and variety to use the hundreds of cars. People enjoyed grinding to upgrade 1 car and progress your way up. Gt7 lacks all of this. Its an unfinished game and if you liked the previous GT games for the reasons I mentioned, you will be disappointed.
The user critic basically only came from a shop they added in a first patch that made car super expensiv and you could buy ingame money for real money to buy them for ridiculous prices. I think they reversed that soon after but the damage was done.
Dude.. i have tried alll of them with the exception that i have a Renn sport sitting in my mailbox. GT7 is amazing, man.. for what I'm looking for. And i have been having an amazing experience in sport mode. I got my safety to S on Friday, and now all i see is one or two nuckle heads in a race. Im running it on my CSL DD with Drive Hub, and once i got the FFB right off on the fanatec side, WOW 😊 the FFB is so lively and gives the right infor i need. As per the AI. Yea GT7 could use some AMS2 AI lol My only gripe is the 120hz mode. Its ass lol the resolution and anti-a takes a massive dip and just gives you jaggys and a screen door ? Idk but if they fix that id be on the 120hz all day.

What's up with the car list they traditionally we're the beasts in? What's up with some of the classic tracks? What's up with them STILL not understanding the concept of a rolling start? What's up with the LACK of LMP and DPi series racing? I used to be die hard GranTurismo fro the very first installment. These last 2 games have been overall disappointing. Put alot of time into sport with friends but it is still lacking. Thank God for my PC and Assetto Corsa and ACC. I tried to go back and play GT7 and it felt horrible. I had more fun on Project Cars 2 than the past 2 Gts when it comes to straight out racing.
The A.I. is useless and doesn't provide a single hint of excitment, variability or challenge. And for all their efforts to make this game as profoundly realistic as humanly possible... the single fact that a car spins and front of you and becomes A GHOST, immaterial do the touch, is completely unrealistic and stupid as fuck, that alone makes the entire online play USELESS and a total deal breaker. If I cannot touch other cars just because they made a mistake, what the fuck is the point of playing online? You're just playing time trial at that point.
I've maintained since Sport came out that the Daily Race lineup is too limited and is missing out on opportunities like doing endurance races etc. With the time and weather changes we have now in GT7, why can't the Daily Race lineup include a 1 hour enduro every couple of hours?
There should be a Daily D that runs once an hour with endurance races, strategies and weather. Right now only the championships have long races and most of them are 1x/1x which doesn't make it fun

It's a no from me. It has serious flaws that I simply can't get behind. The worst crime for me, outside of the horrible stiff camera they've used since 4, is how little you get for online and custom races. I simply don't want to do the exact same campaign races over and over again just to afford the cars I want.
Definitely yes, easily the best racing game I have ever played and my current GOTY....have put 500+ hours already....user score is such a useless metric cause Metacritic doesn't even verify whether the person has played the game or not, those reviews are done by jealous Forza and AC fanboys who are just angry and sad that their games would never be as big and as popular as GT, miserable people to be honest...GT7 is the 7th best selling overall game across all platforms this year, that's quite an achievement for a racing game, no wonder haters are jealous

Because if not GT7 has worse physics then Mario Kart 8 the most arcade Mario kart game. Also is it possible to get gold with the stock vehicles in Music rally as I had perfect runs even had an insane amount of left over time and tithe game would just end because the song ended... Many people who are supporting gt7 are new fans to the series or super loyal Sony ponies. People should not be complaining and be happy for GT7 to be commercial with MT. I believe the games would be way more expensive to purches then it is now. People with less money just buy the basic game. Or when You have some extra cash, You spend more. (If You want). Its in perfect ballance.

I've been playing GT7 from launch and love it a great step from GT Sport and will continue to improve over time.

GT7 NEEDS collab with Shigeno`s Initial D-MF Ghost franchise, with lots of togue maps. Its immediatly 10/10 GOTY

This game is terrible, a ripoff. I'll never buy a game from Polyphony again.
