As Ryazan conquer all of Scandinavia... ...due to the fact that historically Ryazan were close to the Rus of Kiev, and that nation were founded by vikings.

it's been 3 years already??? wow. looking back at how the series started, and where you're at now, it's fun to see the evoloution of the game and you as a player.

Honestly I think that the viable way to play this sort of achievement is either "Border states" or vassals. No matter how you look at it, any power will consolidate the continent sooner than you can + Dehli was constant strong enemy that you could not really get rid of, which sucked
I did it by playing tall. Conquered everything i could early on, then focused on deving for the next 30 years then went south into Vij, spent some more years devving again and then finished the conquest luckily Cormandel(Vij trade node) trade node has almost all trade centers on the coastline so i was making plenty of money by moving my trade capital there
Hey Hawk thanks for the great content, it might be a bit late but this challenge is indeed possible, for I just finished as Sadiya after 3 days. For the most part, I think the best strat would be heading south istead of north, moving ur capital to Vij or Bengal as those provinces are very rich compared to the himalayas and Ladakh region, which is basicly worthless. Also, cut Vij down to size asap (In my game they hate me after I took Andhra), what I did is switch to ally Bahmanis and denying them from coast line by controlling their truce with Vij. After seizing all of Vij's coast the game is fairly easy. Also, hitting the nation you already defeated is worth it since it mess up their economy badly so they cant easily recover. and for ideas I took offensive diplo humanist. Would like to see you finish this challange for good. Dont lose hope man, keep up the great work!
As Sweden, you should unite Scandinavia, make Muscovy not exist, and take Constantinople, changing the name to Miklagård (the Viking name for Constantinople). Bonus points: Colonize North America and have Vinland own all of modern-day Canada.
I think the solution to this challange would be taking diplomatic ideas, allying big nations outside of india and using marches. Eventually all big indian nations will desire your provinces and having marches would allow you to fight inland wars to gather strengh.
I think to be successful doing this, you'd need a better economy and more forts, and force the countries you fight to release nations, maybe ally some small countries too and feed them provinces you don't want
After all those years hawk still have not learned to make def allies up to his relations limit, boy is sitting on all his relations free and is surprised that bots make coalitions on him and declare random wars XD
he is noob to be honest:p thats why he is mostly commenting MP games instead of participating, thats the equiwallent of a fat boy beeing a keeper in football.
If you ever attempt this again, I feel like this would be a good run to try some vassal play, although I understand if you feel like that goes against the spirit of the campaign.
For Ryazan you can ally Muscovy (sometimes need to improve relations first) - then use them against Great Horse and grow to the south. Then, when you're stronger, you can ally other Hordes/Poland/Denmark and use them to attack Muscovy.
I think once you got all the provinces you needed from Delhi you should have worked to ally them. What you needed to do was cultivate a major power in the middle of India, instead you kept Vij on for too long and made them ultra-powerful. (Doesn't solve for Bengal problem though!)

I used to play in India alot, and something I've noticed is those border provinces are fucking garbage alot of the times. Aside from one off provinces like the Himalayan province with Gems or Bengal Delta, its mostly low dev, mountains/forests/jungles with shitty trade goods. So you are nowhere near as strong as you think you are, certainly not if you had the equivalent provinces of the interior. Not to mention, as you quickly found out, Bengal was two mil techs ahead of you and I think they have some military focused national ideas (yep inf combat manpower, leader shock and Artillery damage as their finisher, you may notice they had a pretty good general on their stack). Vij almost certainly would have declared on you regardless of if you won against Bengal or not, its the reason they broke their alliance with you in the first place.
Ideas for 3 nations down the line in season S: Sweden: As Sweden, form Scandinavia, conquer all nations that have been updated in 1.34, flip to norse, and make all of North America and Europe Norse faith. Solon* *( If its a nation you are going to play) The Evenki (Solon) people were conquered by the Qing and Russian empires, so preemptively, Conquer all of China, and own all of Siberia, and make Russia not exist. Bonus goal is to colonize Cascadia. Switzerland: As Switzerland, get the highest attrition for enemies and highest defensiveness of any nation in Eu4.
As someone who has been brought low in a similar circumstance, my heart goes out to you. I hope your next endeavor brings you feelings of joy and power.
Unless you set provinces of interest the AI is going to claim provinces they can't take it's part of the whole lets frustrate the player nonsense this game likes engaging in

I've noticed that often you choose to have no allies or you lose them and don't get new ones. You seem to think only offensively later in the game.
