My lr8 had the wrong tune from geprc. They had the lr7 tune. I emailed geprc and they sent the correct tune. It was much better. This 10 inch interest me too now.
Yeah this did seem like it's worth a go for the price so I got one on order whilst they had their cny sale. I'm curious what it's like if you put say a 5000mah 6s lipo instead of your 8000mah li ion. Less flight time but probably a bit more lively. Thanks for the review seems like you're one of the few talking about the quad. I had a great experience with my mark 4 hd 5 inch geprc and was intrigued by the idea of a 10 inch following a similar design. I'll either be putting an air unit or a vista in mine once it arrives. Also if you're planning a comparison Vs the iflight xl10 (or even their chimera eco, which is maybe a more comparable price range) that would be cool.
Can't beat the price... I'm looking for larger quad for long range but to be honest I'm not looking to take out a home equity loan to get one. Can't beat the price and you can always tweak the tune. Great review definitely interested...
Are the props in view on the FPV camera? It looks like it, if I switch to a DJI O3 camera instead of a gopro this might be a dealbreaker for this drone. The price is unbeatable though, not sure about the flight stability, as the video mentions the tune could be better I assume it is not perfect. All in all the electronics are good enough to use and refine the quad, even exchanging the frame might be still cheaper than an alternative.

What's the efficiency like with different batteries and payloads in terms of flight time and distance covered?

Crazy to me that a 10 inch can cost the same as some 2 inch, but I guess the batteries are the real expense with a drone like this.
if you make your own packs a p42a 6s3p will cost about 100€

2 batteries cost almost as much as the quad. Is why I only own two big lipos.
I own a few but yeah they are pricey. Gotta pay to play Long Range. It’s good the LR10 exists
