What is the problem with your Volume control on this program? Sometimes its a whisper and then sounds like he is yelling! Content is good delivery horrible 😢
As I’m watching this again, I am more than ever sure that things would’ve gone much better with Lincoln. He would not have permitted all that backsliding to go on, he would have kept the army there as long as necessary. And, furthermore, once Lincoln realized how very, very honest and respectable all these people he was meeting for the first time were…well, he would never forget that…or them. NEVER. I’m only sorry there weren’t 2 of him so the American Indian could have had a true ally as well. If he hadn’t been half-dead by the time the war was ending or if he just lived-I honestly think he could’ve helped both. I can honestly say I have not read of a man more human, understanding, patient and persistent- yet careful- since Christ. And no, that wasn’t meant to be funny
You should have left that last question with an “I don’t know”. What you followed up with was the most unfair and “prejudicial” statement I’ve ever heard - especially toward a man who showed continual growth the longer he lived. Shame on you😞
Not only is he an engaging speaker, but his insights into slavery and its connection to the waging of the war by the United States is very worthwhile.
I would’ve never known Sai was so romantic

My comment was very respectful, even if you didn’t like it. You made a judgment call.

Well there happens to be a history in Liberia that slightly contradicts your assertion that the colonization of freedmen was merely rhetorical. ℅∞§
Unless you meant 'rhetorical', specifically, from Lincolns POV . Munroe didn't share his outlook
