Alicia, you get plenty of praise for your fantastic reporting, but I don't know if anyone's mentioned how great your sound mixing is. I really love the way you perfectly accent each land info transition with fitting music cuts! I also love the consistency in your selection for music about each section you're discussing. You've pretty much trained me to identify each land you'll be discussing from the music alone!
Thank you so much for saying that! A lot of time and effort goes into the sound design for these (and all of my) videos! And for exactly that reason. I really want the viewer to feel the correct emotions for each area, and it really helps with recognition. Remember I used to show the land logos on screen when these videos first started, but now the music does the job of that just fine! (Well, that and it's easier to tell the difference visually now that every land isn't just dirt anymore.)
@ThemeParkStop that's a great strategy and it's not going unnoticed. As soon as i hear the "four croaking frogs" 😆 at the beginning of each video, i get excited! Ha ha
@@ThemeParkStop I used to work turnstiles at Universal and Islands of Adventure. You got me with the IoA entry music when you were covering the entry area. I used to hear that soundtrack for 8 - 10 hour shifts.
I hope Universal hires you as the in resort “voice” for transit and announcements! With all these updates(which you’ve done a superb job of!) I feel like you’re basically the spokesperson for this park!
@5:08-5:49, YES! YEEEESS! This was exactly what I wanted from a Monsters Dark Ride, physical sets and animatronics! No BS Screen effects. “Monsters Unchained” sounds like it’s going to be a TRUE Universal Classic, up there with Jaws the ride, and E.T Adventure.
I went to Disney in 2017 and it was ok. I went to Universal in 2022 and have been going ever since. It is a MUST for vacation. I definitely cannot wait until they open epic universe. I have been waiting ever since they bought the land.
Even if the plan is still summer 2025 for the official opening, I feel like we’ll definitely see some form of sneak previews much sooner than that at this rate of construction. You mentioned awhile ago that Universal was looking for performers, dancers, etc. to begin auditions & rehearsals for Epic Universe’s stage shows specifically. In addition to possible Passholder Previews, do you think these lucky performers will be among the first few VIP guests to get to experience the rides at Epic Universe?
I believe there may be extended Team Member previews for everyone who works at Universal Orlando in the months leading up to Epic Universe's grand opening.
Thank-you for another informative update, this park will be truly beautiful when completed, I'm looking forward to Dark Universe the most however, I'm also looking forward to seeing how gorgeous Celestial Park will look leading up to the Grand Helios Hotel, this is going to change the shape of the theme park industry around the world.....Disney better be watching!
@@ThemeParkStopI believe this will happen as well. My brother works at Universal Orlando (Dr Dooms Fearfall specifically) and he and other crew members got to test the Minion Blast ride before it was opened to the public. They rode around up to 50 times for testing and feedback purposes. So i definitely think that Team Members will be first for previews, which will double as testing and probably to see if the team members may want to move to Epic Universe.
They are still about 5 months ahead of their construction schedule and people need to re-read the official Universal statement about the planned opening date...They said Epic Universe was opening in Summer 2025 AT THE LATEST. The 2 hotels are opening in Jan & Feb 2025, the employees don't need to use them, they already live there. The passholders from out of town will need them for their previews. Construction workers on site are being told the park will be fully open months ahead of any Summer date. If they are ready to open for the Spring Break crowds, they will be. They don't have 18 months left of work to do. The construction crews will be gone before Christmas. Universal left some wiggle room by giving a vague time frame for opening, but if they can open 3-5 months earlier, they get return on investment that much quicker and boost their stock price by beating projections and expectations. Alicia might not want to predict a much earlier opening, but just watch how much progress is made in the next 6 months, and you will realize the finishing touches will happen from this July to Christmas this year!
I'd just like to say that I greatly appreciate how clearly you enunciate your words. Even as a native English speaker, I have some trouble parsing speech sometimes and usually have subtitles on, but I don't need them with your videos!
I swear since 2020 all the Disney staff are at universal now - everything just keeps getting better and better. And when your on park you feel like you’re the guest and they want you to be there. Disney unfortunately doesn’t feel that way anymore.
So true. Everyone is so nice at Universal. Had the worst experience at Disney last week. The actual worst interaction with guest relations I've ever had.
The more details we see the more jaw dropping'ly stunning it looks! It already seems that it has the potential to be the best theme park in the world ousting the fabulous Tokyo DisneySea.

Incredible progress made since the last update. It's amazing thr speed they are working at. Also those final images in the video really do give a great perspective on how Epic this park will be.
I agree...some are hoping for a late 2024 opening or early 2025 and that just isn't happening. There's so much more work to do. Just look at the state of Celestial Park. It's no where near close to being completed. I'm a little concerned if it'll be ready when they open. Also there are attractions without ride vehicles still so they can't do any testing at all which is another concern. Some of these attractions are quite complex and need lots and lots of testing before they're ready for guests to experience them.

Can only assume it’s a space reason or they need a BIG ride for that section to draw the crowds. The neat part of me wishes it was near Diagon Alley though!
Universal Orlando will have three Wizarding World sections. There's Diagon Alley at the Studios theme park, Hogsmeade at the Islands of Adventure theme park, and then this third one at Epic Universe.
@@Primogen16 Still, one Wizarding World is enough in my opinion, more than that is too much. That's like if there's multiple Star Wars lands in a Disney park.
@@Dylan-Hooton i’m sure that if Universal didn’t have data showing that a Wizarding World section was a draw for each of their first two parks, they wouldn’t be building an additional one in their third park. Incidentally, Disney built Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in at Disneyland resort, even though it already has Star Tours and, on occasion, Hyperspace Mountain in its Tomorrowland section.
There may also be an agreement with JK that Universal has to put a Harry Potter section in every park. Harry Potter is extremely popular and is I'd say the primary draw for going to Universal in the first place. Both Dragon Alley and Hogsmead can be very very busy. @@Dylan-Hooton
