The Super Nintendo World stuff is going to be great I'm sure, can't wait - BUT man the Universal Monsters land is just as exciting for me. I really hope they knock that land outta the park. The ride needs to have mostly real animatronics, sets, effects etc. Also LOTS of creative monster merch please! I am genuinely willing to drop a grand on classic monsters goods if Universal brings it.
I was least excited about the monsters land when the areas were revealed/rumored, but it keeps creeping up towards the top of my list for the area I want to see first.
Same here. Frankly I think an entire land dedicated to the Classic Monsters is _long_ overdue, but I'm also ecstatic that we're finally getting it after learning some gamechanging lessons from Wizarding World's success. I can't wait to see what kind of immersion we're going to get. I'm a little nervous about the Chaney Estate's steel grip on the Wolf Man ip though. He's my all-time favorite of the Classic Monsters lineup and I feel like you _really_ can't have a Universal Monster Land without him, but the rights to Chaney Jr's likeness is iffy. It's why he's never on any Monsters merch at the park. I just really hope Universal figures something out before the park opens. If we can't buy replica silver-tipped Wolf canes, or see some human footprints slowly transforming into wolf prints in the concrete, or hear an animatronic Maria Ouspenskaya recite the "The way you walked was thorny" prayer on some horse-drawn dark ride, then...I mean, what's even the point lol EDIT: Okay haha sorry I just got to the Monsters part of the video and Wolfie is getting a complete coaster! The fact that the coaster is going to be riddled with tents makes it seem like it'll be centered around the gypsy camp where Larry first gets bitten, which is just...ah, yes. I'm so stoked haha.
The sheer amount of work that is being completed on a consistent basis is just mind blowing to me! Disney could never complete something like this by summer of 2025, but I have all the confidence in the world that Universal will. As a lifelong Disney fan, I never thought I’d see the day when Universal had the upper hand in Orlando. I think that day is coming when this park opens.
Considering everyone always mentions blowing disney still shows how big disney really is its the epitome of what theme parks should be so people use it to compare. How about let universal be it's own thing.
@@theactualdarthvader honestly, I would compare this fight to the Tortoise and the Hare, Disney being the Hare, and Universal being the Tortoise. Having been to both parks in Florida, I cannot deny that Disney far outmatches Universal in most categories, even when Epic Universe opens. But since Disney isn’t doing anything, and the prices keep skyrocketing, Universal will end up staying family friendly, and Disney will become a luxury that isn’t worth experiencing, and that’s really the reason Universal wins, it’s a better deal.
I don't know how many more these videos I can take. The anticipation is getting to be too much. Imagine a year from now, and we can see a lot of the lands really fleshed out. It's going to be unbearable.
@guidedmeditation2396 Speaking of the early months, I hope Universal has a plan for the crowds. I heard out in Hollywood that they will close SNW if gets too crowded and reopen later in the day. Either that or the ride operations need to move like lightning.
Love how the editing and music has gotten more sophisticated! The enhancements do a great job of building excitement for this incredible undertaking. Well done!
I love this update. You guys are the only ones that get me so excited for this project to be completed! Hoping they hit a 2024 mark! So much has been done so quickly!
it’s so fun watching this be built as an Orlando resident. While i’m not close by I go there often and like to pass through Kirkman to see what’s going on and man the progress is incredibly
I’m wondering what kind of onride audio we might see on the coasters, seeing as how that seems to be a new trend for Universal. If the HtTYD coaster is themed to Hiccup’s wing suit, I think we could definitely hear Hiccup talking to us during the ride like Hagrid does on Hagrid’s Motorbike. As for Starfall Racers, I think an orchestral score would fit very well, or a computer voice saying things like “Quantum drive is now on” or “Warning: Engines overheating” at various points in the ride.
I think you're probably spot on about the Dragons coaster! And I would love an orchestral score like Disneyland Paris' Space Mountain opened with for Starfall!!!
@@ThemeParkStopThat’s what I was thinking! Something like the original Paris Space Mountain soundtrack combined with some computer/pilot chatter (maybe even “Warning: Coolant levels dropping” “No…NOOO!” as a shoutout to the original Hulk launch tunnel).
Thank you Alicia for the fantastic video. These videos are precious sources of positive content in a media scape drowning in negative, toxic junk! It will be interesting to see when the first landscaping starts to show up. I would think they want a full growing cycle for some of the larger plantings, so it must be soon.
I work for a construction management platform and we’ve been getting a lot of support requests by the companies making Epic Universe 🫣 can’t go into any specifics but the stuff I’ve seen…. just wow!!!
Now I`m even more excited to come to the USA espacially to Orlando the main city of Themeparks (sorry for my English this is waht I learned in school in Germany)
The brains and logistics of constructing such a complex and massive project are staggering. It is worth having a big budget documentary profiling the progress and I am sure there has to be one or more taking place. I wonder if anyone has caught any wind of this already?
The water ride sounds like fun and different from other water rides. I'm so excited for the whole thing. The monster land I think is going to be the best. But we still have a ways to go.
Thanks for this update! I’m sue it took a lot of research and editing to get this footage out to us! It’s much appreciated! Can’t wait to go! I’ve ridden the Mario cart ride already at universal studios and although I loved the ride, that place was an unorganized disaster! Let’s hope they do this opening much better
I think a lot of people are underestimating how long it's going to take to do all the work you cannot see. There's a lot of theming to be done, ride systems to install along with ride vehicles and test with more theming around the attraction after install, more testing, tons of tree planting, training new team members, etc. Everything looks really fast right now because it's just the skeletons going up which is easier than putting everything up around and inside what you currently see.
There's the "Beyond Big Thunder Mountain" expansion that would _maybe_ happen in about... 5-10 years after Epic Universe opens. Maybe more if we're lucky it even happens.
An idea I think would be real cool to enhance the pipe escalator up to SNW would be to do some sick projection mapping as you go up. Show maybe characters flying by you through the pipes, some coins on the wall, some little 8bit character animations as its doing the teleport affect. One of the few things I feel like SNW Hollywood did better than Japan was the pipe effects, so why not build on it going up a slow escalator. Also, I am so happy to see the size of SNW. It looks massive with that DK expansion, which is much needed. Hollywood is always soooo packed, Nintendo is way too big of a property to get that small of a land.
Love to see all this progress. Still hoping this will be priced as single ticket like the other parks and not the pay as you go pricing as some have speculated. Also here’s hoping the dueling coaster has the same locker system and strict no carry-on policy as VelociCoaster so it will always be experienced as intended.
So exciting! I’m thinking this will be all ready to roll before Disney finishes updating Epcot. The monsters, Nintendo and dragon areas sound amazing! I’m a bit disappointed with the potter section but I’m sure it will still be fun times
What would be really amazing if someone were to take a picture of the whole land area from the same angle and then doing a stop motion style video from the start to the completed theme park.
I’m not a big super Nintendo fan but I’m sure it’s still going to be awesome. What I am looking forward to is how to train your Dragon, classic monsters and Harry Potter. The funny thing is I’m not a big Harry Potter fan but the attractions at the other parts are just so great! Thank you ma’am for another great video and God willing this park will be awesome!

Checking in on some of the lesser-talked-about sections of the park, in addition to our regular construction update!
Thanks for a update video and I can’t wait for Super Nintendo world in epic universe for 2025!👍

I was at Universal this weekend, and when riding Rip-Ride Rockit I could see the top hat of Starfall Racers. Can’t wait for this park to open
The entrance to Dark Universe sounds so good
Alicia with an incredible update as always! The most accurate consistent updates going (along with Bio) 👏

Blowing Disney away!
Can’t wait for the opening!

Please never stop these updates
I love this update. You guys are the only ones that get me so excited for this project to be completed! Hoping they hit a 2024 mark! So much has been done so quickly!
Construction just keeps on moving at a blazing pace. Can't wait!
Always the best coverage. As someone who won’t be able to visit Florida again for many years I am loving this journey.
Glad you enjoy it!!
fantastic update as always! soo amazing to watch this all come together.
Fantastic park update as always Alicia, really blessed for your coverage and able to watch your updates these past couple of years.
Amazing channel, always a reliable source of information
Wow, you really got this video out quickly. Kudos!
A fire breathing Viking made you so happy! I love it too.
As a civil engineer I’m excited to see the fly over traffic circle come to fruition and don’t call anything dirt it’s soils
Sometimes in Florida the "soils" disappear in a sinkhole.
And don’t call concrete blocks, bricks.
Bear Down!
Its nice to see the County making an effort to make this traffic circle happen.
i can hear her laugh when she talks about the viking potentially breathing fire LMAOOOOOO “his mouth is open! :D”
I can see that yellow coaster from my parking garage at my job! Now I know what it is.
loving your coverage the only one about Epic Universe I watch!! really informative and exciting
Tthank you! You do an AMAZING job with these updates!
The narrator of these vlogs is amazing! I look forward to these all the time! Thank you!

I work for a construction management platform and we’ve been getting a lot of support requests by the companies making Epic Universe 🫣 can’t go into any specifics but the stuff I’ve seen…. just wow!!!
In the movies the Viking statues do have fire within their mouths so that should be the case here
This pleases me.
First time I’ve seen a park been built from ground up in my life
Thanks for sharing the update. It's great to see more progress being made on the park.
The question now becomes- what opens first? The center of Epcot or Epic Universe?
I'm pretty sure Epic Universe lands will be getting their updates before Disney finishes Epcot.
And then another 5 years to just start a construction layout😂
Now I`m even more excited to come to the USA espacially to Orlando the main city of Themeparks (sorry for my English this is waht I learned in school in Germany)
I Imagine disney as they see princess peaches castle being built and being like......god damnit
I can not not waittt to see how it all comes together 😍😍
That roundabout got me so excited 😊 because roundabouts are awesome and there should be more of them! Also the park so far is looking incredible!
Amazing update video!👍
Epic is going to be Epic!!!!(pun intended)
Meanwhile at Disney. . . . We have taken years to build a garden with some shaped concrete and water fountains themed to Moana.
With how fast everything seems to be coming together, it’s hard to believe that it’s still two years away from opening day!
The brains and logistics of constructing such a complex and massive project are staggering. It is worth having a big budget documentary profiling the progress and I am sure there has to be one or more taking place. I wonder if anyone has caught any wind of this already?

@@ducktails1695 Correct. Look at Minion Blast timeline and the building was already there.
The show buildings can be deceiving with them being fully enclosed but I can assure you that there’s still a ton of work on the interiors!

Work is going so fast on epic universe it might open in December of 2024 or sometime in the spring of 2025
What's the probability of the escalator inside the mario portal being themed to the warp pipe?
100%
The fact that Disney hasn’t announced anything to combat universals rapid expansion is just sad
@PittsProdz yes they do, its all the people who petend to boycott then go anyway. 🙄
They have to finish all of the construction at Epcot which will probably not even be finished until Epic Universe is old news.
They did. Splash mountain retheme and theming The Polynesian after Moana. 😂. Oh yeah. And a figment meet and greet.
@@NocturneFexy ya I doubt a brand new theme park is gonna be old news anytime soon
@@gremlinfinger5964 Splash Mountain retheme will open in 2024 (unless if it gets delayed) if I'm not mistaken.

Watching this video makes it feel like Christmas Morning to me. I have been a bit underwhelmed by many of their plans thinking they could do better however, as it progresses it is clear it will be very impressive anyway. I think my perceptions have something to do with my complete disinterest in Nintendo land and the How to train your dragon lands. Basically it leaves the Harry Potter and Monster themed lands to appeal to my demographic.
Disney should be very worried and I believe they already are, especially with their low attendance rates even now.
What do you all think the pricing will look like for this park. I’m soo excited to take my family, there is literally something for everyone 😩😩❤️❤️❤️
Opening day VIP tickets FTW🎉
With this exiting progress that they are making. They should be able to finish this in 2024 not 2025. 🙃
Fantastic the video ❤
I was wondering how we’d get to the park- that or if we’d park at US and then take a shuttle like how it works with Volcano Bay
Hopefully the entrances to each area don’t become pinch points. In particular the escalator to the Nintendo area. That doesn’t look like a big space at the top and bottom of it.
