Ultimately race and religion don’t share a common path. Religion is above race.

Pray for more strength add upon this beautiful church. Pray God would let those evil of hatred be shaken in front of the people of God. Pray God would let the wonder of resurrection happens in this church and let life flow out of its wound.

Nothing would've been appropriate to sing at this historical church than an old slave song that was often done by the late civil rights champion, Bayard Rustin, "Death ain' nuthin' but a robba." And I haven't heard Hall Johnson's "Take my mother home" in church in many a moon, either.

Corporations, insurances companies and banks that still exist today profited from the slave trade. Here's a list....
      yourblackworld.net/2013/08/29/shocking-list-of-10-companies-that-profited-from-the-slave-trade/
Now, the question is how many Black people use these businesses today, and what's their excuse? The rabbit hole is deep.

      moormagic1 Lord have mercy!
So what I am trying to figure out is what is the purpose of having these constant reminders of a negative past going to do for my people overseas today?, and who is paying for the upkeep of these buildings that are no longer in use?
This is shocking to someone like me who did not even know things like this was still about and not in some kind of museum somewhere.
