In all fairness, Every church that I’ve ever been to does this. Around election time, they engineer their “teachings” to include metaphors and stories that end in “here’s who to vote for.” One church passed out actual papers with a list of Obama’s sins after preaching a message that said you’re just as guilty as committing someone’s sin yourself, if you support them.
Another local church hosted the local candidate they were supporting and invited them to speak, around election time.
