I love how you have your apprentice with you teaching!! A lot of guys won’t do that in the industry! I just started painting after prepping for 5 years. Kudos to you!! 🤙
Another top video Tony. I'll never be a car painter but your videos have inspired, and taught me how to paint motorcycle tanks and other parts to a standard that I'm well happy with. I can't thank you enough for that and I still love watching your workmanship, it really is a pleasure to see it. And I do know how much work goes into making these videos!
Slick paint job my guy.... I have (2) WS400 & (2) LS400 series 1 guns & the spray pattern is top or bottom heavy on the base guns.... No amount of cleaning or nozzle position - to - air cap hole position is changing them.... 1 WS & 1 LS are brand new still and I'm debating selling both just to get a Series 2
A few days for me to comment mate the guns look good I've still got my thirty odd year old pair of devil devilbliss guns I've not used them since I retired but I did fully service and put all new gaskets in them so they prob still work good ill never get rid of them they were good in there day yours are much better by the way hows your health
Was watching this older vid , I don't work in the auto side of painting but always keen to learn new things, I saw that you only hit the top of the wing to blow it in I take it you don't get any dry patches doing this or does the clear deal with any issues, thanks
Thanks for this vid…. I been looking into this series 2 but they aren’t available yet in my area….glad to see someone working with. Look like it’s laying that glass!!!
@@bankyankinlive I’m in the US they aren’t available yet but should be coming in a month or so, the promotions and coming soon advertisements just came
Nice finish lovely colour! Gun is impressive never used that make.devillbiss and SATA manly probably spelt it wrong, what ever.your lado got a talent, going to be a asset.
Hey Tony, well what can I say both those guns looked like they did an outstanding job on the base and clear, the LS looked really easy to use and laid the base very nice plus you said it put it on really smooth which I think shows what a good gun it is, I'll have to look at the specs of the LS as even though my compressor is brand new it's no where near body shop specs but it runs my air fed mask and my Sata X5500 with no problems. The gun I'm really interested in is the WS for clearcoat, watching the vid again this time I saw the fan on the WS and apart from the huge size I could see it was nice and even as I didn't quite get what you were saying last night in the live chat🙄I hope to have one by the end of the year but I have my car tax and MOT in September so will get that out of the way first, anyway mate I loved the video and I pleased you seem to be liking the guns, loved the live chat and premier, thanks mate🙏👍
im sure you will grab one mate plus im sure at some point some good second hand ones will pop up too no doubt as they do with all guns mate , and great to have you in chat as always buddy
On the last series Iwata 400 you knocked the fan way back because you mentioned that the fan was heavy top and bottom. Now on series 2 full fan is alright and you mention that there is not much paint at the fan edges. What is the difference in the older Iwata and this series?
no youve taken it the wrong way there mate the fan now is perfect but some people could mistake the size of the fan because it looks so large is what i was saying
@@TonysRefinishingTV it was in your review of the new Iwata 400 where you mentioned that the Belaria fan was heavy top and bottom. I have to go back and look at it.
@@TonysRefinishingTV what is your cure for the fan problem. I thik you said 1 3/4 out from closed. That doesn't leave much of a fan. I watched the video of you revisiting a W400 series one and you have the fan all the way open and are getting great spraying with it. This must be mostly experience.
Another good vid Tony,ps swage line tool has been busy and very useful.i have a w400 wbx bellaria ,have you ever used this variation.has a split nozzle fluid tip.not 100per cent sure what use it was intended for.i have used for base.

Says 1.3 tips for both guns in the description part of the video. He has links with the equipment he uses. Both guns are listed with the tip sizes. I don’t understand why y’all ask these questions that can be answered just by reading. If you missed it on accident that’s fine, but a lot spraying videos out where people ask about pressure, what compressor you running, etc… and it listed in the description. I’m not looking for a argument, just something I see a lot.
Can you tell me anything about the longevity of the 6030? Im spraying tons of kapci base but on the fence about swapping from spi clear to kapci 6030. Thanks

Tony and the iwata whit air cap blue..what do yoy thing about.
what is the idea of the drop coat
to make sure all metallic / pearls ect are all laid evenly
No the issue there is ones metal and ones plastic and because of the material properties they will never lay down the same
Nice result. We're glad you like it so far!
