Also let's not forget that it has been priced very sensibly and competitively. German cars are also doing lot of cost cutting. Good review. I agree with noise insulation part ... I realized it's good till 70 kmph speed after that it becomes noisy but with songs I could manage. BTW I just drove from Bangalore to Coorg and back (ZX CVT) and it gave me 16.3 kmpl for 695 km (which involves a lot of hill driving, little bit of city and quite a bit of expressway). On Bangalore-Mysore expressway (almost full on adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist with speed of 80kmph) it gave me 22+ kmpl mileage, when I reached Coorg it went down to 20kmpl.. later on with lots of hill drive and back to bangalore final number came to 16.3 which I consider very good. This is as per the MID display. One thing I notice if I run the car on idle on lights .. average drops down very fast .. not sure why .. may be it's the MID thing !!
Mileage depends completely on how one drives the car. At 80kmph 22 kmpl is not surprising at all for Elevate. People who crib about mileage usually are the ones who think they are F-1 drivers when it comes to speed.
@sanjayk I feel vx is perfect variant. If you want to have ADAS then only you should spend 2 lacs more. But again 6 airbags n cruise ctrl are missing from vx. Honda did huge costs cutting wherever they could. Cabin noise , no cooled glove box. Small things which could be handled.
I also bought a ZX top variant. I noticed Noise factor during test drive too.....but overall I liked this as a package as my deciding factor was good headroom and high commanding sitting position. Though apparent cost cutting is disappointing. Honda must consider it. I was being offered top variant of Skoda kushaq in same price which offers the advantage of Turbo engine, ventilated seats, and electrically adjustable seats. Other lacunas are absent TMPS and Gear indicators on partial digital console.
I took test ride of Elevate and I can relate with your review. Overall I liked the car but I strongly feel that Honda should have given Cruise control in all CVT variants or atleast with VX. I have delayed my plans because of this missing feature in VX. Now creta is launching in Next month, I will not be surprised if elevate sales goes down in coming months once we have facelift creata and may be curvv by the year end. Updates: Took the test ride again and the noise insulation is another issue which I didn't like about. If you are going to spend 19 lacs on a car , the silent cabin is something which I would prefer. This could be okay for some ppl but do notice this when you go for the test ride. Apart from this noise issue zx is very good car.
@@richaverma403 I think Hyundai is working on safety aspects also , verna is good example of that. If they could provide safety in creta that will be a perfect product though it is already a segment topper. Not giving the option of Hybrid which is their in-house technology is a blunder.
If you want to spend 3-4 lac extra then you can go for Creta. But I would never buy Creta or Kia. It's now like bhed chaal on the road. Honda's engine are too good. Elevate looking very elegant with good pricing.

I own a 2018 Honda City Vx (Petrol CVT). You are spot on about reliability and power of the engine. Five years gone and the looks still feel premium. The issues are noise insulation, stiff suspension with little travel which makes you feel each and every surface irregularity. This version of City also has lots of rattle from Dashboard and doors. The stiff suspension makes it worse. Does not feel planted at high speed. The worst portion is that the company never approached me for product feedback. They are not well connected to customers.

Excellent review. Companies are smart. Like in Honda Elevate, if you want to avoid ADAS2 and go for VX variant, they remove other very useful features such as 6 air bags. All brands do this and tempt customer to go for specific variant.
Yes the top end variants are always having something tempting that the user who has decided to go with mid variants will definitely think about the top variants and especially when it's for long term they will think 1 lk is nothing for 10 year ownership

Great review. Just a small suggestion, when you're providing factors, you can add small comparison in the same segment, like in this case, Creta/Seltos/Kushaq. You draw a good comparison though where Elevate stays when compared to other brands.
Sir, I have skoda kushaq 1.0 ltr. 2 days before, I have driven Hinda Elevate CVT transmission. Before taking Kushaq, I have driven Honda City. In terms of handling Kushaq is brilliant. But, in terms of comfort Elevate is excellent. Elevate felt little bit noisy. I can say noisy car in this segment. If you are bored with City then, take Honda elevate. Otherwise no need to update. The strong point of Honda elevate is driver position. It will.give you suv feel.
I am planning to do this on my Amaze. Took delivery yesterday. Made the Service mechanic check the oil, it was synthetic that comes pre loaded. Which is nice of them. I am planning to get the Engine oil and Oil Filter changed for the first service / 1000 kms. Service engineer assures me that its not required and first engine oil change is scheduled at 10,000 kms / 1 year, well, i still would definitely replace the oil and filter at 1000.
Hi prakyat......i have 3rd hand wagnor for driving practice and planning to buy first actual car for my family..... Automatic Elevate and automatic xuv300 is on my mind and confused. . ignoring budget and milage... which car is best in all aspects according to you especially keeping for 10+ years
I took a test drive twice. The first time, on a highway, I experienced some noise at speeds over 40 mph. On another day, on a rough road, I noticed significant lateral and vertical movements as you said I felt car is loosing balance on speed breakers, which raised doubts about the suspension or design. Why do you think it has this issue? Also car was smelly probably as it was standing in sun on a hot day and as per the dealership person it was the smell of leatherette seats
I took a test drive from 2 different showrooms in Indore and I noticed a particular issue with it’s manual transmission. Whenever I tried to shift gear, the engine revs increased for a second of so till the shift is completed. Not really noticeable in low revs but really becomes pronounced at high revs. It’s a very unique issue that I have seen in any car. Those unnecessary revs while shifting gears just take away from the driving experience. Can any Elevate owner confirm upon this? Or is it that it was particularly issue with the pre-production units?
How useful is Cruise control anyway ?! In India even on the highway there is so much traffic. Most drivers do not follow lane discipline which makes slowing down a regular necessity!
Good review. The vehicle seems to have another issue/manufacturing defect (checked on multiple vehicles) in automatic (CVT) transmission. When the brake is partially released on a still car (no hand brake, and in D mode) the brakes make weird metal clanking noise. Service center says it’s normal but don’t see this happening as often in other cars as in elevate. Anyone else noticed this?
I am planning to buy this car as a family car..my budget is 15 lakhs, thinking to buy sv or v manual by next year...should i go with this car.. I can compromise in features but i like premium feel and less service headache in future.. i want a car for atleast 15 years pless tell😊
Super video. Coukd you please help me in selecting the variant. I am planning to buy ZX variant, but confused between Manual and CVT. I live in Hyderabad and based on the traffic my friends suggesting to take CVT. But i am in dialemma which one need to take.
One question how do you rate the build quality. Comparison can be 5 for Vw 4 tata 3 hyundai 2 renault 1 maruti. Where this car fits .. i heard the sheet metal is now down from honda city. So bit concerned whether it matches tata or hyundai
Good video Bro. Is Mileage lesser than Creta 2024 same petrol variants? Not able to find its Honest mileage for automatic on youtube - lots of fake videos Bro😢
Car got launched in September 2023 so they have not made any changes in 2024 since it is only 4-5 months old..I am saying this specifically since I am buying this car and dealership has confirmed this. In fact I am getting delivery in only 1 week only + Rs 61000 discount since I am buying a car with manufacturing year 2023, but of course you dont get choice of colour, thankfully I liked one among the ones available. Else wait is around 2 months.
The looks in the videos are actually descent. The front has got a boxy and bold design but the rear looks little like a jacked up hatchback. The width of the car could have been more like 1810 - 1830 mm. Apt recipe for an SUV with ground clearance and commanding driving position but without any 4 wheel drive hardware. Honda could have given 1.5 L turbocharged IVTEC engine which produces around 175 bhp and it's available in other Asian markets for HRV, Civic, etc... Rest all are typical Honda - quality, reliability and durability.
@@Humani11 i would suggest 1.5 NA engine MT from honda over 1 ltr turbo or even 1.5 turbo from Skoda / vw , if u r looking for a car with least maintainanace and very long term. And if you like to drive a car which is peppy and confident on roads but ok with high on maintainance in comparision, go for Kushaq.
@Humani11 Its 1.5 ltr engine, and for same cost you would get Kushaq 1 ltr, turbo kills the milege and increases wear and tear. Also cabin noise in Elevate is more because of less insulation and could be fixed through aftermarket means. AT in Elevate is cvt, which is considered very costly in terms of repairs, Honda's cvt is best but still is a cvt. Better than dct and lower to amt in terms of reliability. If you are a discipined driver, go for it. I am not, so not for me!! Off course VW/ Skoda engines are fun to drive but rarely last long as much as Honda's.
I do own i20, self driven, with 3 members family...Now I do want to upgrade to suv. I do go long tour with family n friends.... My priorities are safety, performance reliability, and handling. Now short-listed Xuv300 Turbo and Honda Elevate. Budget around 12-14 Lakhs. Pl do suggest which one I should go for...
You can add Insulation by spending another 20-30 k. But I think Japanese engineers over estimate our road surface and think that much insulation is not needed.
Parts cost you mentioned Honda lies between Hyundai and VW but its actually same or similar to Hyundai... Hyundai psrts are also as expensive as Honda as per my friend's and relatives' cars. Only Maruti psrts are cheap and with part sharing even bigger cars' parts are not expensive
Superb video!! Thank you so much for this. Crisp and clear.

Why do you think it has this issue?
Also car was smelly probably as it was standing in sun on a hot day and as per the dealership person it was the smell of leatherette seats
How about safety ?
Does it make sense to purchase a Honda 300F now. If not please suggest an alternative.
Skoda Kushaq is bit better but looks smaller Car
Can you please do review of Brezza like this ?
Brilliant analysis ❤
I took a test drive from 2 different showrooms in Indore and I noticed a particular issue with it’s manual transmission. Whenever I tried to shift gear, the engine revs increased for a second of so till the shift is completed. Not really noticeable in low revs but really becomes pronounced at high revs. It’s a very unique issue that I have seen in any car. Those unnecessary revs while shifting gears just take away from the driving experience. Can any Elevate owner confirm upon this? Or is it that it was particularly issue with the pre-production units?
Thanks. Please do a video on CVT as well.
Anyone else noticed this?
yes me too and its pretty normal
Outstanding academic review 👌👌👌 thanks for the information 💓💓🌹
Good & informative, nice presentation 😊
I am planning to buy this car as a family car..my budget is 15 lakhs, thinking to buy sv or v manual by next year...should i go with this car..
I can compromise in features but i like premium feel and less service headache in future.. i want a car for atleast 15 years pless tell😊
Very well elaborate each n every point .. Good review 👍
Very good and honest review. Can you please advise on how it perform on hills areas
Super video. Coukd you please help me in selecting the variant. I am planning to buy ZX variant, but confused between Manual and CVT. I live in Hyderabad and based on the traffic my friends suggesting to take CVT. But i am in dialemma which one need to take.
Same here
SUPER 👌 ELEVATE HONDA ❤ SUPER 👌
One question how do you rate the build quality. Comparison can be
5 for Vw
4 tata
3 hyundai
2 renault
1 maruti.
I purchased 2023 model zx manual in 16 lacs with accessories…does anyone got better price?
My only concern is cabin noise in this car else this is probably an amazing option in this segment
Good Review. How about essential accessories for Elevate?
Very elaborate and informative video.
Is this 2023 elevate model or 2024? Also , any major difference in these two models ?
Car got launched in September 2023 so they have not made any changes in 2024 since it is only 4-5 months old..I am saying this specifically since I am buying this car and dealership has confirmed this. In fact I am getting delivery in only 1 week only + Rs 61000 discount since I am buying a car with manufacturing year 2023, but of course you dont get choice of colour, thankfully I liked one among the ones available. Else wait is around 2 months.
Thanks for your response and confirmation. Good to know about the discounts on 23 model. I will keep this in mind
How many videos on single car? Repeated videos of Ekevate, punch , exter, kushaq, Fronx,,,,,,
Please make video on Brezza TC...
Request
The looks in the videos are actually descent. The front has got a boxy and bold design but the rear looks little like a jacked up hatchback. The width of the car could have been more like 1810 - 1830 mm. Apt recipe for an SUV with ground clearance and commanding driving position but without any 4 wheel drive hardware.
Honda could have given 1.5 L turbocharged IVTEC engine which produces around 175 bhp and it's available in other Asian markets for HRV, Civic, etc... Rest all are typical Honda - quality, reliability and durability.
Elevate or Toyota hyryder strong hybrid? Confused
Kindly also include best value for money variants to buy for the car which is being reviewed in each of your videos. Thanks 👍
Hi Prayakt.. Can you make a comparison video b/w Kushaq and Elevate pls.?
Good Review - Please cover the CVT trim as well from engine/power/hill driving point of view
V.Balanced Review
Thanks!!👍🌹
I'll be elevating myself with a ZX CVT Elevate very soon 😊
I've cancelled my nexon creative + booking and booked elevate zx. What do you think?
Good decision
Kushaq is comfortable or not and what about cabin noise in it? Should I go and buy kushaq if it’s reliable?
@@Humani11 i would suggest 1.5 NA engine MT from honda over 1 ltr turbo or even 1.5 turbo from Skoda / vw , if u r looking for a car with least maintainanace and very long term. And if you like to drive a car which is peppy and confident on roads but ok with high on maintainance in comparision, go for Kushaq.
@ one more query, how about elevate AT,the only issue I felt wd elevate is cabin insulation is bad and interior is cheap.
@@AdarshTiwary thanks
Is there friction in manual transmission, I felt at test drive
What is the expected date of punch facelift launch.
Could you please review the cvt version
I do own i20, self driven, with 3 members family...Now I do want to upgrade to suv. I do go long tour with family n friends....
My priorities are safety, performance reliability, and handling.
Now short-listed Xuv300 Turbo and Honda Elevate.
Budget around 12-14 Lakhs.
Pl do suggest which one I should go for...
Go with Honda but if possible try to buy the higher varient.
Well, I was forced to go with VX MT in Amaze because there was no Cruise Control in VX CVT.
great content, covered all aspects
Cvt ka review kahan hai?
Well explained
Keep up the good work
You can add Insulation by spending another 20-30 k. But I think Japanese engineers over estimate our road surface and think that much insulation is not needed.
I sincerely hope Honda comes out with ADAS on its Amaze 2024 CVT. That would beat almost all competition in the compact budget sedan segment.
