My life has taken me beyond all imaginations
Made me rise and fall, tore me apart
But have you ever seen it in a relation
To what was hidden in my heart
How many nights I’ve been hunted by the past?
They say they gave me a better chance in life
But who knows what the future may bring
They say their choice gave me a chance to survive
But for me it really meant nothing!
Behind the smile hides a crying face
A childhood like none should be!
My life often has cut me off from the society around
Discouraged me, made me crack up
Have you ever known how it feels to be aground
To discuss your pain in a hub
To be a member of the alien club?
They say they love me, but I can’t see the truth
It’s all buried deep in my soul
They say they saved me from my family blues
But who asked them to take control?
Behind the smile hides a crying face
A childhood like none should be!
