    "Pink Moonstones" (or Lavender Pebbles) is really "Graptopetalum Amethystinum" - "Pachyphytum Oviferum" is known as regular "Moonstones", which can blush pink with the right conditions.. but they are often confused. There are even more "Moonstone" nicknames for different plants.. so it's really better to understand the botanical name.

      Don’t start with them… I ordered a Graptopetalum Superbum and got a purple delight 3 times until I got a refund

    I keep mine in the windsil but recently removed it from a pot with some ground attached to the roots, into a long cup filled with water. The roots stays in the water and it's in the best shape it has ever been. Hard to explain since I always read about not giving too much water.

    I am new to this plant. I got two that were perfectly healthy and I replanted and have only watered once. That leaf you had at 3 minutes 49 seconds I have three or four like that. What causes that

    Hi! I’m gonna pot up my moonstones after stem cutting propagation. I cut the full tops off of all of my healthy & top- full moonstones so I could repot them & give them more room bc they needed it to grow badly! I was wondering :
    #1.) how much space should I give between each plant?
    2.) was wondering if anyone had any cool/ fun/ diff ideas of what to do with the bottoms of the plants ( the bottom of the stem w/ it’s roots & leaves ) left for propagation etc.?!
    *I’m hoping🤞🏻to place them all together too ( but in a fun & diff way ) so they can grow beautiful new plants together AND I can free up 2 MUCH NEEDED terracotta pots bahahaha! I know some of y’all if not all feel me on the whole pot/ space issue right😆😁🪴!!!
    Thanks in Advance folks!

      Hi Kayla, 1-inch between each cuttings is fine and yeah you can place them all together. For more information, please check out our blog on this succulentsbox.com/blogs/blog/tips-on-succulent-propagation-from-leaves-and-cuttings

    My moonstone is 6ft away from a south facing window and little by little the leaves are starting to shrivel up.

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Karissa, in my experience, this is a regular problem for them when they are stressed, results in shriveled leaves. It's likely that the roots were damaged and the soil was somewhat damp when you potted it, causing some roots to die. You should unpot them and clear any soil from the roots and check them to make sure they aren't brown/dried out/crispy or freshly rotting. Then, repot it in a terra cotta/plastic nursery pot and place it in a bright light, taking notice of the water you should use. Hi Succulents box! I was wondering, for the leaf propagation do we callus over the leafs before putting the leafs on moist soil? And if we do how many days? :)

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we need to wait for the leaf to callus over and this process takes about one day 😊

    I just bought one and potted it in cactus soil mix. The bottom leaves are a little soft, what does that mean?

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      just the bottom leaves right? If only the bottom then it's normal

    also why is my succulents pot growing mold in the drainage holes

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't worry. It's just a harmless fungus. This fungus might thrive in wet soil and is aided by overwatering, poor drainage, and old or contaminated potting soil. Tired of mold? Check out this this blog succulentsbox.com/blogs/blog/succulent-fungus-their-natural-treatments.

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wrinkles can also be a sign of overwatering or irregular watering. Please tell me your watering schedule and we'll figure it out.

      The most ideal lighting condition is to put your lovely Moonstone under sunlight for 6 hours. In months with intense sunlight, you should give it some shade. More care here, my friend succulentsbox.com/blogs/blog/how-to-care-for-moonstones-pachyphytum-oviferum

    they lost all their color from so much touching 😢

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Paula, in my experience, I don't think your moonstone lost color from touching; the pale hue for succulents is caused by overwatering or a lack of bright sunshine. Hope this helps
