      @@jammyburton5 Well for most generals the books you want are Atk, Def, HP, March size, March speed, Range (for siege or archers). That leaves us two free spots since we can't take Atk. Speed books for mounted/ground don't work either so we can't use them. I choose ground because it will make your ground troop layers slightly more survivable, or you might want to send a mounted/ground hybrid march.

      I haven't checked the PvP debuff mayors for WB, but I know that sanada does not debuff the WB. I haven't heard about buffs that have "attacking monster" being active or not, I'll have to test it. There are several reasons you could score higher in rallies than solo, first is your buffs are different in the two scenarios, second is the generals your mates send might be affecting it with debuffs. Very good questions and it would make a great video topic, I'll add it to my projects.

    I run Martinus fully ascended with Custer as the asssitant, with the monster hp, attack, and march size buff. I am a 3.6B k39 with my mounted buffs maxed in academy and MA, with fully starred rurik bracers, 3 star rurik legs, 2 star Plantagenet helmet, and then the bumped up ares gear on the rest. I place 7th on world boss week after week against folks that are 10-20B power. So you’re telling me that if I fully ascend Roland, my placement will be higher!?

      Yes, Roland will do more damage than Martinis for your uses.
      Give me these numbers and I can tell you exactly how much more damage Roland will do for you. Under monarch details, Single Mounted Troop Attack (a flat number), Mounted Troop Attack (a percent), Marching Mounted Troop Attack (a percent). Under rally spot details, the number in white (a flat number), the number in green (a flat number). Spirit Beast/Dragon, what % mounted troop attack and how many points into the generals attack stat. Total mounted attack percent and flat for gear, including the gear stat, set bonus and refines. Generals level and cultivation into the attack stat. Flexible specialty if any. What troop attack and march size buff you will use. Whether your Martinis has the skin or not. What tier mounted troops you will use.
      Or if you want a rough calculation, what is the green number that appears in your mounted troop training camp for T14s, the white and green number for your rally spot and general attack cultivation (the green number) and general level.

    Unfortunately there are many inaccuracies in many of your videos. You compare the damage of the generals, but the damage only depends on the attack and not on the HP and defense. Such a comparison is only legitimate if the fight was decided after the first attack. At the end you suggest general combinations where the main skill book would be grayed out by the assistant. While march size means more overall strength, it could just as easily mean many more injuries and lost points. In my opinion, you are overestimating the size of the march. You ignore the debuff entirely, but it is even more important than the buff in solo attacks when the enemy's troop number is much larger than your own. Good work with unfortunately some serious weaknesses.

    • @Maath_Faseli
      @Maath_Faseli  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You have some good points but you also have some misunderstandings.
      First is the march size, yes MS will give you more points to lose, but more troops increases your total HP and Atk. The points you gain from a better match will offset the points you lose. For maximum effectiveness you need to find a balance of MS and Atk.
      Second is HP/Def, yes they are both important stats; however, I believe Atk is more important as a primary stat, especially since most high damage generals also have decent HP/Def. There is definitely a use for high HP/Def generals, but at the time I made this I wasn't super comfortable addressing those in detail.
      Third is the debuffs, if we are talking about a solo march you should already have a full set of debuff mayors that will provide more than enough debuffs.
      And lastly is the assistant compatibility. Yes you're 100% correct there. In this particular video I believe I forgot to check the compatibility for the generals, but for the most part I try to verify them.
      If any of my videos have major errors I make sure to take them down and correct them, as I have done with others in the past. That being said I don't believe this video has any major errors.

      @@Maath_FaseliThank you very much for your answer. I think you didn't quite recognize the problem with the march size and it could be because you are playing on a relatively new server without really strong opponents. I didn't say that march size is unimportant, just that I think you're overestimating it. Of course, the 5% march size buff, for example, not only increases the attack accordingly, but also the HP and defense values by a total of 5%. From this point of view, you could say that 5% march size is as good as a 15% buff. In an attack, the first blow always belongs to the defense. This means that your troops' HP and defense count first. If you dominate the battle, you're absolutely right, but if you don't dominate the battle, simply because your opponent's number of troops is very high on the first attack, you'll lose a lot more points than necessary. For simplicity's sake, let's assume an attack with siege units. As you know, they have very bad troop modifiers (yours are not quite correct). Let's assume that you are so strong that you destroy all of your opponent's siege units and are in a good position in terms of points, the other troops are fortunately not in range at this point, but then from turn 3 onwards your troops fight against the remaining enemy troops and of course have no chance there. This means you lose far more points, resources or sources of life than without an increased march size. If you now had a smaller march that was perhaps even stronger, you would lose less, as fighting with much worse troop modifiers and against several troops at the same time always means defeat. With the other troop types you have protective layers, but they are also destroyed in the first attack on them and again you are fighting a losing battle. I hope that's clear enough.
      I agree that the attack value is the most important of the values, and you should bear that in mind when suggesting generals like Richard the Lionheart for the wall. In defense, the attack value is even more important than in attack. According to my interpolation, the relationship between attack and HP can be expressed roughly as follows HP≈2*Attack-1.5. The defense value is even less important.
      You can't completely disregard the debuffs. You say yourself that you assume buffs of 2000%, which means you would have to achieve a debuff of 1000% on every single value with your subordinate cities. You can probably do that if you spend a lot of money and have 11 subordinate cities and can forge civilization armor for the mayors. For someone who doesn't spend a lot of money, however, it is illusory to develop so much debuff in the subordinate cities. How to fairly factor in the debuff is also a question I can't answer, as it has very different effects from battle to battle. In any case, generals with a debuff like Maximilian should not be portrayed as bad, as he would be the best assistant you could have for Roland in some battles.

    • @Maath_Faseli
      @Maath_Faseli  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nobudgetproduktion7316 unfortunately MS cannot be given a fixed number relation to HP and Atk due to the way the buffs are applied. The increase from MS depends on your base rally spot and your buffed Atk/HP stats. The Atk/HP buffs depend on your buffed MS and your base Atk/HP. Generally speaking, it is easier to buff the Atk/HP than it is to buff the MS, so MS is weighed heavier.
      A smaller march with higher buff in some scenarios will perform better than a larger march with lower buffs. However, I don't think there are many generals that this actually applies to. For example, King Arthur or Genghis Kahn depend heavily on MS, so I wouldn't recommend them. Andre is the assistant I would recommend mainly due to his MS, but his Atk is 4th for assistants, Def is 5th, and HP is very low. When we look at the other generals that rank highly on overall damage most of them have reasonably balanced stats. Of course there are exceptions, if you want maximum HP/Def then Jayaraman and Li Naomasa are the go to combo.
      As for the debuffs they are very conditional. It would depend on what the enemy buffs are, what your current debuffs are, troop types, ect. I don't consider them for the same reason I don't consider rally capacity or rally buffs.
      At some point I intend to redo this video with the updated list of generals and an analysis of the effective HP/Def like I did for the ground troops. Unfortunately I have to finish other projects before I can do that.
