That sign with the clown is great and it's amazing it has been preserved as well as the coaster. We had one like that at the beach in San Diego but they rebuilt it with steel. I remember riding the old rickety wooden one. Whenever I see old carnivals I think of the Hitchcock movie "Strangers on a Train."
Amy, thanks for the memories. One of the first places that I took my wife was Camden Park when we were courting. My family still lives in Barboursville. My Dad ran all the Tradewells and Foodlands in the area. He was the caterer for those wonderful picnics at Camden Park. I used to help. My brothers have had a business on Route 60 in Barboursville for the last 40 years. Thanks again and am looking forward to more content from the area.
Wow, small world. I wish we still had Tradewell and Foodland's, not many grocery stores in the area to choose from. What business does your bothers own? Thank you for watching!
My sister in law is the head of the Huntington Park Board. We would love to see a video on Pullmans Square, the Riverfront, best restaurants in Huntington etc…. We love your channel.
