I had an old hand-me-down Danish modern chair that I used to tote around from apartment to apartment for about 15 years. It was held together by bungee cords. When I decided to throw it out, before I could even get it to my dumpster (in Los Angeles) someone ran up and claimed it. They couldn't believe I was throwing it out.
