lebron had waaay better teammates than MJ! Make goggle your friend. lebron had more Hof, and all-star teammates than MJ ever thought of having. MJ drug roleplayers, and non-scorers to 6 Chips.lebron has played with A.D.& D-Wade. lebron should've won 8 rings with his roaster! 😂.

@user-xm5du8hu1q Look Bro. When you compare masterclass paintings, you compare a Rembrandt with a Picasso. You don't compare the guy who made a copy of a Rembrandt with a Picasso. Kobe, at his best, was a copy of MJ - a chip off the old block. That's good, but he's always ever been a "Chip". Don't get carried away by the revisionist history cause he perished too soon and tragically.

@user-xm5du8hu1q Lmao! You Jordan stans are delusional and can't be helped. You guys are lost causes. Yall like a boxer who is way past his prime, but he is still trying to make a sad comeback.

@@nyaakewebo i disagree with you but let's keep it goin'
The '' copy '' of mike got 5 rings, the original lbj 4,
So basically got a better outcome.
If a copy is more expensive than an original, do you still compare the two originals ?
      You want to compare ?
      Compare LeBron to Kareem
      4-6 vs 6-4 / 21y 1492g vs 20y 1560g / 4mvp and 4 fmvp vs 6mvp and 2fmvp /
two times stats leader (assists, points) vs seven times stats leader ( rebounds, blocks, points) / 20y with 25ppg vs 17y with 21.5ppg /
You play to win not for stats, in this case did LeBron really pass Kareem?
      Oh yeah 40 474 pts vs 38 387 pts
Let's break it down just a little bit
8390 ft vs 6712 ft / 2410 3pts vs ONE. Do your math one more year and so many 3points.
27.13 career ppg vs 24.6 career ppg
( Jordan 30.1ppg with the wizard's stats and kd something like 27.3 oh yeah and allready 16 years with more than 25 ppg but too many injuries lol)
      I'm not a Jordan fan
      I prefer shaq
Why people are so sure that LeBron pass Kareem in the first place they are pretty close but Kareem got more rings eleven years of individual dominance and ten years of team dominance.
Nobody's talkin about the advantage of begining the League earlier and not spending two years on the bench like Kobe ( NBA ready or not)

It's so true. Take Durant for example. Dude has been in a Big 3 on four different teams. And only won a ring when he joined a team that was already a champion without him. LeBron dragged anyone he played with to the Finals and won Finals MVP with three different teams.

Wilt Probably really is closer to MJ than people realize besides Kobe, Wilt set so many records he is the strongest Center player in history he man handled guys he made the fadeaway and now everyone uses it, Wilt has the 2nd highest scoring average behind MJ and that’s because he stopped scoring on his own to help in other areas. My argument for this debate is the same I had with Kobe and LeBron. It took awhile for LeBron to become better than Kobe and it took awhile for me to say that he is, but I’m fine with the fact the LeBron is better than Kobe. And LeBron is finally better than michael Jordan. It’s okay. People, especially the old heads saw Jordan score and play basketball like something they never seen before and they can’t help but keep mj up there forever. It’s okay guys. LeBron is better than Jordan. MJ can be second GOAT of all time. Ain’t nothing wrong with that tbvh. And Kobe can be third

    • @phillipschuman4307
      @phillipschuman4307 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Here's a version of how this has now swung around among some Jordan influencers (TH-camr Jonny Arnett, for example). The original fall back was that maybe LeBron was the better/overall more impactful player, but Jordan had the better career. You had the infamous Pippen comment that LeBron may be the best all around player (which he was intimidated into taking back and talking out of both sides of his mouth), and even Skip Bayless (!) saying LeBron was the best all-around player he'd ever seen. This was what Oscar Robertson meant in 2010, when he said 'LeBron was much better than Jordan' (before LeBron had any rings, but two consecutive MVPs, a scoring title, and a Finals appearance).
Now Jonny Arnett has switched to saying LeBron actually has the greater (as in, GREATEST) career (or that we can see he'll end up with that), but that Jordan was a better player. Slowly, people are turning to agree that LeBron's career is the greatest (and that is what GOAT means, after all). It takes different things for various people to come to this conclusion, but his old Celtics rivals Kevin Garnett and even Paul Pierce gave it up after LeBron passed Kareem. David Robinson said that when LeBron passes Kareem, he'll run out of excuses to pick Jordan over him. Shaq implied the same thing.

  • @capencowl
    @capencowl ปีที่แล้ว +9

Exactly! “Were you talking about Kareem being the best player when he had the most points”?! No. Are Lebron fans saying Kareem is #2 now? No. Karl Malone #3 scorer, do they got him as #3 or even on their top 10? No. No consistency.

    • @RohanSinghal-ob7zu
      @RohanSinghal-ob7zu 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

Kareem played a lot weaker era
He wasn't a good play maker
He literally won 4 of his rings because of Magic
He doesn't have the longevity of lebron, Kareem was basically over in his 18th year
Lebron is still playing and already has 40k 11k 11k
And kareem literally had Oscar in his 2nd year

Kareem wasn’t big as Lebron and neither was the lead..
You do know the record wasn’t 38k when Kareem broke it, that could be another reason why nobody cared..

Hmm....Reading the comments in this thread.....folks really feel Jordan is better than Lebron who is:
Number 1 all time in scoring {40,000 points and counting)
Number 1 all time in playoff scoring and counting
Most consecutive games scoring 10 points per game (By a lot)
Most consecutive seasons averaging 25 points per game
Most all star votes all time (by tens of millions)
Most top 5 MVP voting season (all time)
4th all time in regular season assists
    Most playoff assists
Most NBA Player of weeks awards (not close)
Most NBA Player of months awards (not close)
    Most All NBA Seasons
Took three (3) different teams to the Finals and won Finals MVP (different coaches, sidekicks, benches, cities, owners, management - not easy)
When someone says THE BLOCK what play do you think of
When someone says CHASE DOWN BLOCK what play do you think of
Has the most YOUNGEST TO....NBA records
    and now
Is getting the most OLDEST TO....NBA records
Is the youngest player to every 1,000 scoring mark in NBA history ...1000,2000, 3000, 4000 ....38,0000
and is now the Oldest and Youngest to 39,000....40,000 etc....
Most playoffs series won all time
Real close to having the most wins all time
And might end up playing the most seasons, minutes, games played all time
All that....AND MORE......and the comments in this and other threads...think its crazy that LBJ is better than Jordan.
Our kids kids kids....wouldn't understand these hot takes.....we were all witnesses!

I mean Rodman is considered the best rebounder yet isn’t even top 20 on the all time rebound list. Magic is considered the best pg yet isn’t the all time assist leader he isn’t even top 5. Stats never was the indicator for who is greater but LeBron fans use it because they think it helps their argument. LeBron can’t beat Jordan in what made Jordan the GOAT so now you guys have to use a different approach. The argument has always been Jordan accomplished more in less time which is still true with LeBron being in year 21

But here’s the crazy part about that series. People look at 73 wins and Cavs being down 3-1 and think damn the Warriors was putting it on them and Jordan himself never faced that. But the funny part is I don’t think Jordan would even be down 3-1 to that team. That Warriors team didn’t even perform better than the ‘93 Suns. 2016 Warriors had 3 players averaging 15+ ppg, 1993 Suns had 4 players doing that. Curry the leading scorer only averaged 22 ppg, Thompson 19 ppg and Green 16 ppg that’s 57 points between their top scorers. On the other hand Barkley had 27 ppg, KJ and Majerle both had 17 ppg and Dumas 15 ppg, that’s 76 points between their top scorers and Jordan averaged 41 ppg on them setting a record that’s still standing mind you

I saw both eras. The only era I haven't seen was Wilts. But seeing the stats I can tell you Wilt Chamberlain should have won more MVPs and more championships, the reason why he didn't was because players voted back then, they didn't like him, and those Celtics teams triple teamed him.
The Jordan era is really sus. Because he was very great but the league rigged its rules to greatly enhance his game, to the point where he couldn't be challenged. The Jordan we saw in the Olympics wasn't the same Jordan in the NBA. Barkley was the leading scorer of that team, Jordan was and is the greatest of that generation but those games in the Olympics were let's say more of an honest refed game. He wasn't so unworldly like he was in the NBA.
Ryan makes great points, Jordan as unbelievable as he was couldn't take a team with Charles Oakley, Orlando Woolridge to the playoffs and just win a game a series. He couldn't even get out of the 8th seed. But if you put Jordan on an already 50 win team then it's just like putting Kevin Durant on the warriors.
LeBron dragged bums to the finals. So did Wilt. Kareem, Magic, Bird, Russell, Kobe had stacked teams.

He was nowhere near his prime when he was on the Mavs. He averaged 0.5 ppg in the finals and barely played that series. Why bring up his Sacramento stats from years earlier? Bottom line is, yes the Mavs were the better and more complete team, but Lebron severely underperformed. He was outscored by Bosh and Wade in that series. They could have won if he played to his standards.
