Anthony Davis is both, and he’s been runner up DPOY a bunch of times in his career as recently as last year. The point about LeBron being hated ks why he didn’t win DPOY was wrong too. Media voted for DPOY and coaches voted for all defensive teams. So they didn’t vote for him for one thing then suddenly decide they didn’t want to for the other, it was two completely different groups. The same thing happened the year before with other players. LeBron didn’t have the most 1st place votes for DPOY that year. Gasol had WAY more.
