If you know dauntless then you know there is a ton of RNG to this bet since it's not just hoping I get good amp choices or behemoth match ups... It's hoping the game works properly.

@@williammoriarty2125 You kinda should to power surge gear. It's the whole progression system. I'd suggest getting 1 weapon to 20 and keeping it there for things like trials and whatever else you'd want to have a weapon at lvl 20 for

I actually run Molten sometimes just for that reason. Molten is kinda useful no matter if you encounter Hellion or not, but does the job just fine if you actually encounter it...especially helpful when you are leveling in escs at ~12-15

I've played once since reforge. That was a masterclass trio: The first covered respect of mechanics, illustrating near perfect gameplay for the second, while the third and final was good sportsmanship/showmanship--because you were 125% + beyond that boss mech origin.

Next challenge: umbral esca with lvl 1 non-legendary weapon in a team of 4 with the others doing nothing. They can talk and distract you tho

I also go into the big escalations with lvl 1 weapons. Actually all the time.
Usually you end the Eska with lvl 4-5.
This is 10 50 going in there with a lv1 weapon is suicide 1-13 esca is very easy though

You had to fight a S Hellion with a bugged weak spot who had much more defence than normal with s lvl 2 weapon. If I were the guy, I'd give you the bits just for that.

I think the tonic bug is caused by the last charge staying on the buff list even when it's no longer really active. Usually you can't refresh that tonic if it still has charges.

The roots are predictable, there's four giant branches that form the arena walls, they always join onto them (to leech nutrients from the tree we're stood on).

Quick question not finding it anywhere (Provided I'm not blind) but do you have to have a specific prestige weapon to do Dauntless Trials cause I've been grinding chains for possibly my one and only shot and I want to make sure I'm prepared

ive gotten hit by those roots so many times. i always stand in different positions and still get hit
er... having a low damage weapon with max equips and cells means ull finish the esca longer than usual.
it wouldve been nice to do it with unforged equips and lvl1 cells instead of endgame items at max levels, well except for the weapon.
i forgot to mention, max amps as well.

@ohdough - how do you boop the little gnasher? Was it the parry abillity from sword mod? Do you have to do something for it? And the Boop at min. 16:56 - what attak was it?
the first boop was the parry, which is a seperate special unlocked from Lady luck. The second boop was just the projectile that costs 3 valor to use.

You are soo good at this game man. Wish I could read the behemoths attacks as well as you. Most of the time I'm in the middle of a combo then they attack. That or out of stamina.
You need to attack more carefully so you dont get locked in the attack animation and cant dodge

If you're referring to the multiple, blue slashes, that would be Virulent Impact, an amp only available in Shock and Terra Escalation.
when OhDough performs well better than me in escalation even though his weapon is level 1 and he doesn't use fiery forge helmet 😦 I literally can't play without the helmet
then get good, its not a good helm, never really was unless it was a chain blades mounting build

Bro can you make a video how to interrupt properly with chain blades. After enhanced doge it's really hard to interrupt using chain blades without trading for hit from behemoth
I tried this at lvl 1 and beat it but I hit lvl 3 when I started fighting agarus then when I killed him I hit lvl 4 but was a fun little challenge
Would it be cheating to use a tenacious build? I think tenacious chainblades or actually any chainblades could pull this off fairly easy no?

you're stronger with a level 1 weapon than me with my level 17 starting weapon that I've been playing for 2 days
You gotta ditch that starter weapon. No perk. No cells. No element. All bad.
I went for Drask weapons in the beginning due to extra head/tail dmg buffs.
Run escalations, level up the escalation skills in Ramsgate, the bosses at the end of level 10-50 escalations get you the legendaries...thats where the fun is.
Have fun with it-if something is kickin your ass its probably because a level 12 weapon will struggle against even just a lvl 14-16 behemoth...unless you git gud scrub but lol honestly, the numbers are reeeeal important.
