I crafted beacon rounds and vorpal. It's nasty. It already hit so hard as it was but vorpal is comical, it makes quick work of any majors and that's always nice as there are tons of orange and yellow bars all over the pale heart.
As a rocket launcher, it cannot fire before the rocket detonates, so stability and range are meaningless. I have a few of these, but by far the best rolls, I have are Demo + Hatchling and Slice + Golden Tricorn. I go back and forth between those two.... If I don’t get a Slice + Hatchling roll to drop I will craft that combo when I get all my red borders. I do plan to enhance all the perks on my favourite rolls as well. 🍻
I don’t have all of my red boxes yet but the roll I currently play with is beacon rounds hatchling. It goes hard. The beacon rounds are cool because they seek and help destroy stuff. Also if you have your artifact mod threaded blast it works perfectly with that. Tangle nukes are so much fun! I use arcane needle for the 3 shots. I wreck everything. This gun rules. 🤘
All of this is wrong. Beacon is a waste of a perk slot when LfG is so much more useful. And lower blast radius = higher target damage, so no on high blast radius, and velocity is EVERYTHING, the higher the better
@TronLennonMusic Pretty sure this is incorrect. Blast radius does not affect the damage on this weapon type. It only affects damage splits on heavy GLs and Mountaintop.
I'll have to make a lead from gold one. I play titan mostly with the hazardous propulsion rocket chest piece so I made one with strategist/one for all.
Can you go wrong with any combo? My favorite running around lower level content is a Subsistence / One for All. Getting three hits is easy and I never have to reload.
@@ryanmartin5456 with lead from gold giving secondary ammo when you get heavy ammo, i put secondary and heavy ammo finders on and i rarely run out of ammo.
Coming here to spread the gospel of desperate measures. Especially on melee hunter. But in general to get x2 stack, you literally just power melee an enemy. You dont need a weapon kill first. Punch one enemy and you now have a higher damage buff than vorpal. Kill another enemy with the call and now you have x3..

Beacon is goated. Also try one w as high a blast radius as possible. The velocity isn’t a big deal.

I hot a world drop lead from gold and vorpal. It eats any activity especially with the mod gor sidearms too lol.

IMO lead from gold is a must as you rarely run out of ammo. Using this weapon as a primary is so much fun.
