I like the plastic better it's light weight it looks cleaner you don't want to keep adding weight to your machine when you keep putting on editions if you're also into the also into the speed.
Love the work. Mike have you had any customers wanting Garmin Live Scope on their ski. Trying to figure out the best way to mount a pole.I have a rear trolling motor mount in the LinQ system but I’d like to be able to have control over the pole when fishing. Love to get your thoughts.
when you gonna take me out and teach me how to fish? I'm new to the game, but I got a 2020 sea-doo fish pro 170 and a spiderman fishing rod. seriously though. would like to take a trip out. I'm not far from freeport, port Arthur and matagorda. I've been out 30 miles, just be laughed at by fish. Blacktip and gafftops love me though. seems to be all I catch.
Awesome work as always Mike. Plastic has to be the way to go the hard work has been done now in making the plug. Obviously you can make these far quicker and for the buying public I’m sure they will appreciate the price difference. If the front panel weren’t not cut out it may make it easier to use different brands of radio. Carbon fibre would also be a dressy option for some. Brilliant work that could be a life saver !
You asked which material we would like better in the video, so here are my thoughts. The plastic shroud looks amazing. Your aluminum parts look amazing. I can tell there is a lot of hand work that goes into your aluminum parts and thus they would cost more. I would assume it takes much less time to make the plastic parts as there is less cutting, welding, deburring, , prep, argon, tungsten, filler rod, and powder. My only concern for the plastic would be longevity. Not all plastics perform the same after being exposed to sun and saltwater long term. Most plastics fade and become brittle with UV exposure making them prone to cracking. If I were buying this part then It would really depend on the pricing and also the type of plastic used in the vacuum forming. I would lean toward the aluminum parts myself for long term strength, but would consider the plastic based on the material used.
this look amazing
Badd ass dude, as usual!
Love your work
Thank you
👍👍👍👍👍
That looks awesome - looks even more like a stock part than the aluminum version.
Thank you Nic
I gather these would be much more cost effective to build. Do they fit all fish pros?
Yes they are.
What modifications need to be made for this to mount to a 23 fish pro trophy?
No modifications required.
@@MikeSTINGER uses factory mounting holes?
Yes that's correct
By any chance you sell any of these
Yes absolutely

How hard is it to run the wiring with this mount?
Not difficult at all
@@MikeSTINGER is there a way to run the wiring without drilling into it? I haven't taken it apart to see what needs to be done.
What are you thinking of drilling? I make it to where you don't need any extra drilling.
@MikeSTINGER just was wondering the wiring path to the fusebox/battery
You will be pulling wire through the breather tube under the front top cover. The way factory wire is installed.
Does this match up with the 2019 fish pro tourney?
Yes it fits 2019 through 2022 fish pro

It would be hard to decide but i would think the aluminum would hold up longer anything you make looks good there 👍
Hey mike love both of them but I think the plastics nice less weight to travel across water how wan I make an order for 2023 fish pro trophy

I like the aluminum better you don’t have to put a backing plate on anything of the screws
