Previous owner took good care of it and it was in his living room for last 18 years before we took it over and performed following services and test:
Bike starts with one kick , Shift good, and stop good. Engine is very quiet and no piston slap or smoke, Our mechanic comment: - it ran like a Swiss watch; telltale sign of low mileage bike.
 check and sort out the electronic.
 put a pair Hella bar end signal and install hand switch ( cost $500)
 Serviced drive tran
 Changed Oil, transmission fluid and final drive fluid .every season.
 New Headlight Bulbs.
 Serviced brake shoes, both front and back.
 New fuel lines
 Cleaned/Re-built carburetors with new gaskets.
 Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional.
 Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap.
 New spark plugs.
 Serviced horn.
 Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, transmission, driveshaft, and final drive).
 Cleaned/lubed all the cables.

One sweat ride. I rode this cycle as a messenger in DC in 1976. It was the bicentennial and tourists were flocking to Washington by the thousands that summer. I drove a lot and had four accidents that year; one in front of the White House. The heavy frame and horizontal cylinders of the /2 saved me every time.

I had one of those R60's. No slash numbering though. It was the best bike I ever owned, and I had some pretty nice ones too.
