The R 60/2 is my all-time favourite motorcycle.

SWEET

One sweat ride. I rode this cycle as a messenger in DC in 1976. It was the bicentennial and tourists were flocking to Washington by the thousands that summer. I drove a lot and had four accidents that year; one in front of the White House. The heavy frame and horizontal cylinders of the /2 saved me every time.

I had one of those R60's. No slash numbering though. It was the best bike I ever owned, and I had some pretty nice ones too.

I just saw this on CL while I was comping my own R60. I love those Cravens…not sure I’d run em, but they are very cool and very rare.

Beautiful bike. I've never ridden an old BMW before but they're one of my favorite bikes. Such a classic look.
