1967 BMW R50/2 VIN: 643135 motorcycle cold start

Triple matching 1964 BMW R50/2 ~ 643135 .we got 4 /2 bikes in winter 2018. This one is most smooth running and strong among of them. And I registered it in 2018 and rode it for 4+ year put about 3500 mile on it., and never once it failed me. It is mechanically is perfect as it just left factory yesterday. The bike cold starts with first kick and idling smoothly, and it even start cold with one hand. When running it is dead silent even when clutch is pulled; the comment was given “It ran like an electronic motor!!” The electronic is clean and BMW factory wired, Final drive gear is sharp not worn, Honest bike with million mile life left in it. . If you wondered how a /2 should sound while it idles, this is the textbook example. This bike was stored in Storrs CT for over 20 years until we found it in the pervious owner's garage. We put on a nice Dover white tank and fender from our inventory and leave rest of the beautiful patina along and focused on the mechanic. And the new owner can ride while do the cosmetic as his/her choose. We have gone through the whole bike with our high standard ready for road service, works performed since purchase were as followed:
• Changed Oil, transmission fluid and final drive fluid .every season.
• New PAGUSA Solo seat from Germany
• New set of German made Heidenau K34 tires with new tubes on factory Alloy rims..
• New Mufflers and headers from Germany
• New Tool box lock and key
• New MAGURA handlebars
• New Stainless riser from Germany.
• New cable, new Hand grips, New Bulbs.
• Old stock Heller Bar end signal and switch
• Serviced brake shoes, both front and back.
• New fuel lines every season.
• Cleaned/Re-built both carburetors with new gaskets.
• Safety checked/re-torqued on every single nuts and bolts on the whole bike.
• Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional.
• Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap.
• New Sealed 6 battery,
• New spark plugs.
• Serviced horn.
• Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, transmission, driveshaft, and final drive).
• Cleaned/lubed all the cables.
This bike wears this 50 years old patina paint lost, and paint touch ups, and front and rear fenders are still very solid. The inside of the gas tank is clean with factory red paint still attached. Key/lock for the gas tank storage door, and fully function.
