Nothing, pls check there are 2 model and the one available in amazon doesn't not have memory, but this has but goes back to the previous cycle and not from the beginning.
Vanakkam Shankar garu, 🙏Thank you for your video. I am from Hyderabad, planning to buy LG 532FP but only one doubt is AUTO RESUME (when power off & comes back) . After watching your video I want to hear & get clarity from LG technician about “Auto Resume” but even they also doubtfully saying as it will be go back to previous cycle takes more time, what do you say, please reply asap. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
Hello Sudhakar.. I tested by turning off multiple times. I used the turbo wash program of 1 hr 07 mins, and I have posted a video on the same. In case of a power cut max 5 mins is what I have seen and not the complete cycle
Suppose a mode of machine has 30 minutes of clean sub-cycle, 60 minutes of rinse sub-cycle and 30 minutes of dry sub-cycle. If power goes after 50 minutes (during rinse sub-cycle), will it resume rinse sub-cycle from beginning?
Ddb532fp is the latest and on this model we have the memory function and 424fp doest basis what I have heard of and the vessel rack is slightly different. But I have not compared side by side on these machines
Thank you so much for replying 😊 I wanted to know how long you are using it for now ?Are you facing any major issues till now?And would you recommend us to buy 532 model latest one ?
@@Khushiiii working absolutely fine. Same output as day 1. You can go for 532FP, its a nice machine. I am using Fortune Poweder and Rinse aid. Taken additional warranty..
I read an Amazon review saying if the power goes off during wash cycle, then when the power comes back on, it throws away all the water with detergent and refills with fresh water. Thus dishes are washed without detergent. Have you tested this?
Hello I just tested them yesterday. I turned off around the 38 mins mark and powered on after 6 hours gap, it started from 50 mins and I kept my machine in turbo mode cycle and the total time to complete is 1 hour and 7 mins. I didn't really look if it has kept the detergent as this doesn't really matter coz my machine starts from the cycle where it has left
@@diyshankarThank you for doing the test. It seems the machine does not have a memory of where it left off in the subcycle but it saves the last subcycle it was in and does the entire subcycle again. LG seems to have made a workaround by using a state machine. Your test shows It’s redoing the entire subcycle & this aligns with what customer care told me. If it’s in rinse subcycle, it will do entire rinse subcycle again but it won’t do wash subcycle again as it is out of that state. If it’s in the wash subcycle, it will do the entire wash subcycle again but will not repeat the pre-rinse subcycle. So its possible when it does the wash subcycle after power cut, it throws away all detergent water before filling in the water again and then restarts the entire wash subcycle from the beginning without detergent. This is the behavior that one Amazon user observed even though his machine was resuming the wash subcycle just like yours. So your machine may be washing without detergent without you knowing. Do you think you can test this by cutting power during the wash subcycle after detergent is dispensed and resuming after a few hours to see if it throws away the detergent water.
I will.check but the detergent compartment opens at the first 10 mins, I need a water proof camera to record the cycle which I don't have. But I cam check if the detergent gets retained after a power cut. You are right the machine starts at a specific cycle when there is a power cut and not exactly where it stopped.
So it means that the machine will not start from where it stops it will start from the previous cycle..that means this model too do have the auto resume function DFB532FP.
Amazon customer care told me it will only resume on the same cycle if the power cut duration is less than the duration of the cycle. Which was the case in this video. But if the duration is longer then the dishwasher does not remember about the power cut. I knoe it seems rediculous but thats what customer care told me. Can you please verify by turning it off overnight.
Ok let me check that for you by powering off and then resume after few houes. Also the model am using was available only on LG website which LG claim they have fixed it and same was the case with me .
@@diyshankar Thank you, that will be very helpful :) When you check, can you please power off during the wash cycle after it has taken in all the water and released the detergent? This way we will also know if it throws away the detergent when power is back.
Please tell me what did you do??? Because mine doesn't do that
