I stumbled on to these tires kinda by accident. ( They came with the Buffalo and Bomb kits that I bought.) But man, I gotta say they are great tires. I mean good all around. I'm in Tennessee so we have a variety of terrain. I have hair doughnuts in mine for foams. Lol!! They work good!!
Hey, great video. The Gmade 1904 were the first set of tires I brought when I got tr4 defender and are awesome, I have put them on a number of trucks and are holding up great, I have put two stage foams in them as I mainly have trail truck and they are getting heavy . All my crawler mates like them but no one have purchased any. I have another set in the draw for when they wear out. So play with foams for the heavier truck, I have use proline, crawler Innovation and all work great. Now I make my own foams.
I have a set of 1903 gmade tire and i love them.. I swamped the foams for crawler inovations and i love them. Only drawback to the 1903 is their outer diameter. But its a great class 1 tire..
I have found myself lately looking at the gmade sawback just to have something different from my trx 4's and axial trucks not as a hard-core crawler but as a cool trail truck
I love my Sawback for class one. It hangs with and beats rigs twice the price and way more modified than my Sawback. I added Gmade steel wheels and Landmine tires. Runs with the best of them. I bought the kit version and put a 1080 esc in and a cheap power hobbies brushed motor in it. Keep it simple and have fun!
I’m building a kit version as I write this! Do it but there’s lots of mods to do while you’re building like caster angle, grinding the leaf eyelets for flex, grease in the shocks without springs, battery positioning, etc. I wanted something different and it’s been fun so far. Can’t wait to get it together and trail it
I'm planning to build an aluminum straight-rail chassis with a Losi Nightcrawler cage to make it a leaf-sprung rock buggy. :} One month later: Chassis' built. Straight rails made of 1/2" aluminum angle section, running an old Stampede body until I mod the cage to fit. Even with a 3/4 pound battery in front, it sits low and is impressively stable. The suspension is stock except for some swapped secondaries and a set of cheap Amazon oil shocks with the springs removed. Running the abovementioned tires, and it's working really well.
Just got axial bronco and not sure which tire to get yet going to keep this one more scalish have other for performance might have to try.keep up good work.
I wouldn't suggest them if you have a heavy rig. There is a reason why he didn't show them side Hilling on a heavy rig because they would cause the rig to roll over with a heavy rig
I ordered a set of prolines 8g boggers there huge i figured they look sick on my honcho would you ever consider a review on the proline intergo bogger? Ik its a bogger but id like to see how they hold up on rocks
speedytraxxas360 After watching, man am I glad they worked out for you! I love these tires, and will definitely use your link to order my next set 👍 I’m interested to see what foam set up you use in the end.
I have set of these, they are awesome. They work great on all the different terrain. The other tire from gmade that are even better in my opinion are the 1905's. The foams that came with the 04's are not good, I use some proline 2 stage, which made all the difference. Try the 1905's EXO you won't be disappointed.👍👍👍
It looked to me like they performed really good. I have 1.9 boggers and was wondering what foams I should go with or try. I have a Trx4 bronco with some extra accessories. I haven't added brass yet as I'm leaning towards getting vitavon axles with brass after hunting season. They are 5.4" tall with 1.9 wheels. Anyone's input is appreciated
Idk yet. I kinda think the gmades would be better in sticky dirty stuff. I’m about to start working on a tire test climb specific for that style testing. They are both really good.
Not expecting that... I'm impressed ! These are directional , right ? I wonder if mounting them "backwards" would improve grip...there is a school of thought who swears by it. I have a few sets of "directional" tires and I tried that "hack"... they seem to work better...but it may also be just the power of sugestion lol. Cheers mate
They are directional, but the pattern is so similar in either direction that I doubt it'd make a noticeable difference. Still, I'll have to try it and make sure... :}
