I was always wondering just how noisy people in American theatres are. And if member say that cinemas in Italy and UK are quiet then I guess I have no point of reference because the theaters are indeed relatively quiet here in Italy. Some noise can be at the beginning when people arrive late. I saw a couple of people using their phone for 5 minutes. At a screening I was recently a group of teenagers were giggling too much but they got quickly shushed. I guess little kids sometimes can whisper something but they are still well behaved.

I think agatha will be able to avoid the level of negative press that destroyed the acolyte. I think the most toxic fans will still understand that it isnt for them - a lot of the audience for star wars has been deliberately ignored and not catered to; the audience for the wanda side of the mcu hasnt been so slighted as the star wars fandom. I dont think the toxicity is coming from trolls or purely right wing extremists - its coming from people who really care about the franchise. And, because such people dont care about the wandaverse anyway, I think the show will be fine.
I appreciate the coverage of monetized hate campaigns, I was admittedly on edge too but ideally things continue to go smoothly as each week comes and they become less interested. Though I’m sure they’ll tack some commentary on once it’s finished, it’s usually when vids on series gain bigger traction if not at the penultimate episode.
It is not fair to blame Colin Farrell for the Penguin, you see people supposedly do not want to see him, even if true, they do not have to, he does not look like himself at all. I am a huge fan of his and I do not want to see it, because this is not him at all.
I don’t think people aren’t watching penguin because the actor. I feel like you’re either into it or you don’t care, and if you’re into it, you’ve probably already seen this stuff in other Batman media like Gotham.

Like echo is part of this daredevil/punisher side of the mcu and gets all those fans and haters, but Agatha really only ties into Wanda, so if you don’t like it there’s less to complain about? Like it fits with it’s part of the mcu if that makes sense
Do you have to watch Wandavision in order to be able to see Agatha all along? Cause I really want to watch Agatha but I really have no interest in Wanda 😕
Definitely skipping Agatha All Along but I gotta say the reviews convinced me to watch Penguin. I too had no idea it dropped last night I was just waiting for my next HBO Sunday show.
Yeah the writing was on the wall for Lee once Wish didn’t do well. I liked the film but it was underwhelming for what was hyped to be the crowning jewel of the 100th year anniversary. As for movie theaters mine is currently doing big upgrades to its imax theater I can’t wait to see how that turns out. As for bringing Arcades in they used to have them but got changed out for Bars I’m not sure it would bring in much money bringing them back but bowling could be cool.
I watched the first two episodes and the show was ok. It was not a home run. I hope it ends up feeling like a marc cherry/ Ryan Murphy Show. Desperate housewives meets america horror story. I think the viewer hate will only come if the show starts talking about the shows for everyone when its clearly a female demo . I wish the show had more gay men behind the camera. Gay men right the best shows for woman on tv
