Lmao when she asks mike for money and he's like all sad like, all I have is this!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Clonie was hella mad like she wanted to rip Vanessa's face off!!!
what makes me lol is so much about this - the confusion pre flop, bad call, then she gets lucky but then also tilts clonie more by saying 'i think i have to call' when she doesnt actually call hahah
Not to mention that Vanessa's string bet. Vanessa says "I think I have to call" and then she tells Clonie to put her hand back, THEN she tells Clonie that she was going to call anyway? If hanging around in a 3-way pot w/ a small ace wasn't bad enough, then her last move definitely took Clonie over the edge.
Saying "I have to call" would be considered a declaration of calling in most poker rooms, because players could say that to elicit information from another player.
I think Clonie should have waited for the chips to go in, it wasn't a call until she said so clearly or pushed the chips in. Clonie thought she was way ahead. Seemed a loose call from Vanessa unless she had a good read on Clonie.
Yeah, Clonie slowplayed herself into oblivion there. There are so many scare cards that can hit on the turn and wreck her hand. I agree with the check-raise to about 4,000. It's a good idea to overbet the pot when out of position. Then she could just push all in on the turn. If Vanessa had flopped a straight or had a set or something, well these things happen.
i had a simular situation last week in a big cash game. i had A3, flopped A and Rivered 3, the other player had 2 pair. the difference was, i went all in after the river and won a lot. the 2 pair played it wrong too, didnt push me out before the river, tried to get more out of me. lol
Oh I thought she was a complete bitch. 'We may have to get a ruling on that.' Jeez, it's your own bloody fault, Vanessa clearly said 'I think I have to call'
like u have to think about this? wtf. she called all the way and river 2 pairs.U have to be total donkey to fold on river. so its obviously stupid to say "I think i have to call". just shut up and insta call.,
Amazing how many people think clonie should move in on the turn. Are any of you paying attention to the pot size? You don't just move in willy nilly when you have two pair. Also why would we want to fold out worse hands? Don't we make money by getting worse hands to commit more money, not less? It was a standard suckout that usually won't happen. If we have two pair and are pretty sure our opponent has top pair, we don't want our opponent to fold! wtf?
even if there was a ruling it would be for her to call, they would rule that she said call not that she folded to it, so the end result is the same, a call
I watch this over and over.. 1) 0:53 Clonie looks mighty devilish 2) For a poker "pro", her face says it all when she loses like she was on sheet or something. like it was all her rent money for the next 2 months. LOL. she's one of those players that when she's up she's all cocky n shi... but when she's down it's like fu.ck this, fu.ck that. LOL
Unbelievable call on the turn...I wonder if Vanessa is broke with plays like that? Nobody was scared of KQ, set, AJ, or A10? She has the 13th best hand....I am not a pro poker player but that seems like an awful amount of money to call on the turn without a draw for the nuts.
correct. when you put in volume this is a LOSING play by vanessa and a winning play by clonie. poker isnt about one hand.its about making decisions that over the course of thousands of hands will win you more money than you lose. its like AA vs 22. AA is going to lose to 22 20% of the time. thats fine because AA will win 80% of the time. so over the course of say 1k hands you will win 800 of them.
Horrible, Horrible call by vanessa on the turn....can't believe how bad of a move that is. She got lucky on the river though, shows how you don't have to play better than your opponent to win. Only reason to EVER call there with that hand is if you are 100 procent sure that your opponent thinks you have air and is trying to bluff you out of the pot...but no good player does that alot out of position.
Vanessa was in a Heads Up and ploped the Top pair. I think if you are against only one person the Top pair, in this case an Ace, is a good hand. Vanessa tought she was nuts thats why she called on River
With a flopped two pair on a connected board, Clonie should’ve 3 bet Vanessa on the flop, then shipped the turn when the 5 came out. I’m pretty sure that would’ve got Vanessa to fold
She's got the money -- it isn't a loan in the sense that she's broke. She just doesn't have $25K on her or in her account at that casino. The only player she asks is Mike, who is also wearing Full Tilt Poker gear: Mike and Clonie already have a business relationship of some sort. That's why her tone to him is so business-like. But it's the floor man who quickly approves her request for $25K. You'd be surprised how many big chips at casinos are being played on house credit.
She is a part owner in Full Tilt Poker. Belive me, she is good for a loan for this game. She plays 100k sit n goes when the Full Tilt Team puts them up during Aussie Millions.
ROFL hey check it out, kids! A new way to get your opponent to giveaway a HUGE tell at the river! Just say "I THINK I WILL..." before your intended action, e.g. "I think I will fold" does your opponent sigh in relief, or in frustration? ^_^ Poor Clonie though, she wanted a mis-deal, it was like an omen or something. :o
its a close one, players say i think i have too call all the time -then think some more then say "i call",but the tone that vaneessa uses definately implies she is calling now, clonie says i have 2 pair -so this is more imformation to use to make a call,by saying i havent called yet, maybe they should use buttons like on the internet
I dunno I think they all played this kinda bad except the guy with A2, he wants the blinds but it was dangerous for him with a weak kicker. Vanessa calls a raise with a weak kicker so you never know where you are after flop and might just be throwing money for nothing. Yes, Clonie was complaining then betting so she coulda had KQ or A10 or even A5. I dunno even if another 5 came or the 4 it is a tough call Vanessa but more often than not you will lose this hand.
Wrong. Pushing on the turn will only get her called by a better hand. Or perhaps AK. But everything else folds. This is results-oriented thinking at its finest. If you have 2-pair and think the other player has just one pair, you do NOT want to push them out. You want to keep making bets that will get called by 1 pair. Getting drawn out on occasionally is just a risk you have to be willing to take.
moving in on the turn over the long run is a LOSING play because u lose value. vanessa was a 4-1 dog on the turn. shoving on the turn is like going ALL in with pocket aces preflop when facing no action before you.
The check raise on the flop is fine, if you are clonie you are hoping that vanessa is sitting with a weak ace like A 10. The flop was a rainbow so while it's ambitious, slow playing the flop is not TERRIBLE, although with another player behind her a raise is a safer bet. Clonie made a goos bet on the turn she knew where she stood, I think vanessa made a pretty loose call.
its easy to say vanessa made a bad call when you see the cards but clonie could have been on a draw, smaller pair or bluff. she was mad too which could have caused venessa to misread. anyway rich pros make calls like this left and right. not that surprising.
I've watched this clip about 10 times and it still cracks me up everytime!
11 times

Lmao when she asks mike for money and he's like all sad like, all I have is this!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Clonie was hella mad like she wanted to rip Vanessa's face off!!!
This sounded and felt like a hand played at a $1/$2 no limit table
She didn't have it in her account but we can get it out of the Bank of Full Tilt

HER NAME SHOULD BE LOAN-ME, NOT CLONIE!
Saying "I have to call" would be considered a declaration of calling in most poker rooms, because players could say that to elicit information from another player.
yeah.. thats why clonie upset cause, she told vanessa what she had ... and then vanessa had more info to call..
I think Clonie should have waited for the chips to go in, it wasn't a call until she said so clearly or pushed the chips in. Clonie thought she was way ahead. Seemed a loose call from Vanessa unless she had a good read on Clonie.
lol! do you have any cash mike?

she was gonna cry.
Worst part aside from that bad beat was Mike turning her down.
Not sure why she called when gowen said she had 2 pair (which was never a lie), she could only beat 1 2p... which she happened to have
Uhmm she beats 4 two pairs.. J10, 10 5, 10 4 and 5 4

Vanessa was in a Heads Up and ploped the Top pair. I think if you are against only one person the Top pair, in this case an Ace, is a good hand. Vanessa tought she was nuts thats why she called on River
I love plopping Top pairs.
Clonie's face gives me a headache
is this some sort of "lows takes" version of GSN's HSP?
LOL it's Kenny Tran! Ever since his one good year a decade ago he's been on the missing persons list. That guy go broke or what?
With a flopped two pair on a connected board, Clonie should’ve 3 bet Vanessa on the flop, then shipped the turn when the 5 came out. I’m pretty sure that would’ve got Vanessa to fold

Ouch.
I hope to see on Full Tilt pretty much all of the people who criticised their play...nyum nyum, I dunno if I can stack off that many fishes...
Vanessa & Clonie should shift each other.
I wasn't gonna fold. But I didn't mind u saying u had 2 pairs instead of a set or a straight.
Any cash mike? All I’ve got is this after changing chips for a wad of $5k, I’d ask for a heads up and down game for fun
its a close one, players say i think i have too call all the time -then think some more then say "i call",but the tone that vaneessa uses definately implies she is calling now, clonie says i have 2 pair -so this is more imformation to use to make a call,by saying i havent called yet, maybe they should use buttons like on the internet

Easy fold for Vanessa obviously bad play that she got lucky on.I seriously question her so called poker pro status.
Iam obviously calling, especially after I heard you had two pair. Remember, there are no friends while in action.
she look smoking with that dark hair
would have vanessa still call if clonie said "i have a set"? doubt it..
Wrong. Pushing on the turn will only get her called by a better hand. Or perhaps AK. But everything else folds. This is results-oriented thinking at its finest. If you have 2-pair and think the other player has just one pair, you do NOT want to push them out. You want to keep making bets that will get called by 1 pair. why are these people so broke? clonie has no $ in her account and mike has no cash on hand, wtf
Didn't they go all in?So how is Clonie still playing with chips in her hands?
tears of a clownie.lmfo
i love it trying to get cash off Matusow...
but come on, her name is "Clonie."
The stupid thing is clonie revealed she had 2 pair before vanessa called. Having that information vanessa should have folded.
Why
Because the only two pair she can beat is j-10, it’s a lot more likely that clonie has aces up the way she played the hand.
Coke. It's a helluva drug...
yet more proof that women shouldn't be allowed to play poker
Vanessa baited Clonie. Shitty move, but not against the rules.
Clonie might've had a set. Vanessa got her to tip her hand...
yikes at Clonie's face ....
love how adams is just so quite....clonie is way better than vanessa
would, should
Always part of the standard virgin vocabulary.
Typical on pokerstars
I wonder what the ruling would have been.
+deep stick 100% not a call. Clonie knows that, she is just on tilt.
and remain with nothing? i dont think so
Did Jawanda realy has TWIPS ??
bad call Vanessa... -ev
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I agree. Doyle would have pushed this emotional nut all in. It's the right move.
vanessa is clueless
what gutty there was no straight draw sir
clonie needs to clean her ears out..she thought she heard call and gave her hand away before it was even over! her fault all around
loose call on the turn I mean...not river.
