If you play Heart of stone before you go to the isle of mists , you can actually ask a reward from Gaunter O'dimm about how to save Ciri. He says she is out of his reach but tells you that would you find her to never ever make her feel sold out.
Make sure to give her confidence. Let her rage out when she wants to. Console her with a snowball fight. Let her go to the sorceresses alone. Don't take her to her father. Best ending. Yes I cried.
Yeah, he apologises that he can't grant Geralt's request to find her, although he does tell Geralt they will meet eventually, instead he should be more concerned about something else to do with her. He instead says there is a great danger awaiting Geralt, and if he wishes, he can tell Geralt how he may avoid it. "There will come a time where she comes to you, defeated and resigned, find a way to make her laugh" "There will come a time when one will betray her, let vent her rage" "There will come a time when she will grieve for a friend, grieve with her" "There will come a time when fear will engulf her, instil courage in her, but do not act in her stead" "And never, ever let her feel as if you've sold her out" Taking her to her father is not an issue, you can do that just fine but you must refuse the money (you actually end up getting a new horse, since the emporer forces it on you if you refuse the money, but Ciri appreciates that Geralt wasn't doing it for money). It does affect the ending if you take her or not, but it doesn't trigger the bad ending to do so.
That's the difficult thing about that choice. I didn't turn her in because I knew her from the previous two games but Javier on the other hand! Clem almost gets him killed several times, he's got no reason to trust her, so turning her in makes perfect sense from Javier's point of view.
its not as clem is particularly off put by this choice. she is annoyed sure, but she really gets over it pretty easy. besides, the other option is shooting a guy who is dealing with a good deal of grief at the time. given that the walking dead already has enough death going on all the time, I'd like to save as many people as possible
Dragon Age Inquisition: do Bull's quest, but always refuse the alliance with the Qun. Even if you're not close with Bull or the Chargers and are playing strategically, you literally get nothing from them but dead friends and heartbreak. Screw those guys and keep your horns up instead!

Dragon age origins: letting the slavers take the elven slaves in exchange for a boost to your stats. It's even worst if you're playing as a city elf because one of the slaves is your father.
On my third playthrough In Witcher 3 I had forgotten some story details and just kind of sped through. Took the money for Ciri not thinking it was that bad and was instantly shamed.
Strangely enough, it leads to the ending that many players consider the "best ending" if you do that and Nilfgaard wins the war, where Ciri becomes Empress of Nilfgaard. In short, she brings peace and prosperity to the north, if not much of the world.
@@civilwildman that ending happens regardless of you take the good or not, as long as you kill Djikstra in Reasons of State and keep Ciri happy. Out of the 5 things you do, getting at least 2 of them (snowball fight, emperor meet/turn down gold, let Ciri talk to Phillipa alone, trash Avallach's lab and bury Skjall) ensures she lives.
A few I can come up with 1) Killing or Turning Over Valygar Corthala to the Cowled Wizards - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. 2) Killing Barbas with the Rueful Axe during "A Daedra's Best Friend" - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 3) Exiling the Grey Wardens - Dragon Age Inquisition. 4) Siding with the Werewolves over the Elves during "Nature of the Beast" - Dragon Age: Origins. 5) Accepting the Dragonlord's offer at the end of the game - Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest 1.
I found a way to circumvent 4 and keep both the Dalish Elves, and the descendants cursed to be werewolves alive basically when you choose bring Xaranath back to speak to Witherfang after some dialogue you get one of three choices you can choose to side with the elves, side with the werewolves, or ask that Xaranath end the curse he created if you choose ask Xarathan to end the curse you'll get some more dialogue where you can then choose to side with him, or demand that he end that the curse, and if you demand that he end the curse he'll then shout out "Do you naïve fools realize what you're doing." If Alister is in the party he says like a badass "We're doing what is right no matter what." And after a boss fight ends with the centuries-old Elf leader defeated and injured Swiftfang moves to kill him but either Leliana, or Wynne depending on who is in the party will plead to WItherfang to stop Swiftfang from killing Xarathan which Witherfang does and moved by this act of compassion Xarathan agrees to end the curse stating before hand that he is humbled by how he created Witherfang to be a murderous wolf-demon with the mission of cursing the humans who murdered his wife and raped his daughter and their descendants into werewolves yet Witherfang proved to be more noble and just then him, and after apologizing about how he let his rage and hatred for past crimes led him to unjustly punish innocents for the crimes of their predecessors, and then after getting acknowledgment from Witherfang that she is well aware both of them will die when the curse he lifts it, and with the dual sacrifice of him and Witherfang the curse ends the cursed descendants are human again, and the entire Dalish Elf tribe gets to live.
But I mean, when I took him anywhere as a rogue who loved my mage sister all he did was bitch and moan about everything I did. The only reason I didn’t sell him was because my character had been saying the whole time that no one deserves to be locked in chains. This mindset is how he made Isabella into a good guy/hero. She and he never hooked up but that was because he had a soft spot for Merril who he met first(dude keeps his word when he owes you his life, Flemeth). Still, I personally considered it because all he did was complain when I took him anywhere. Max rivalry with him was easy. What got me was that Anders betrayed the trust of my Hawks and used him for terrorism so he insisted he had to live with the knowledge that he had betrayed his friend and had done so much damage to the world.

Anders was only easy to max out friendship with because of how hard it is to feel any kind of sympathy for the templars in the second game.
@@jamesherb4384 The weird part was that after playing DA:O and the expansions, it really did drive home to me how dangerous magic is in that realm and why such drastic measures are required, but it still didn’t help that Meridith was clearly WAY too into killing mages. Like she was actively hunting for reasons. I know that she had already gotten red lyrium poisoning by the time she shows up but it was hard for even my anti-mage character to support the ludicrous extent she was going to.

The first Dragon Quest game on the NES. The Final Boss asks you to join him instead of fighting him for unlimited power etc. If you choose to side with him instead of defeat him he ends up killing you.
Chrono Cross - don't search for the antidote for the hydra venom to save Kid. you can then get Glenn - best character in the game. you also get the quests to fight his family and the ability to dual weild 2 Einlanzers.
"Side with the Geth instead of the Quarians" I know it's possible to save both, but if not I always save the Quarians. The price for having the Geth on your side is too high.
Okay: why? Chosing Quarians you STILL allow an entire species to be wiped out. Yes: Tali dies with the Quarians, but - as much as I like her - there isn't much argue that Geth (the "real Geth") were in the right during their conflict with the Quarians and - surprise, surprise - the Geth are MORE open to peace than Quarians are. Basically Quarians are the bad guys in this scenario. How is siding with Quarians in stead of the Geth a binary choice?

@@mhveteran5571 Actually I romance Tali too; she's basically my "go to" and I was very displeased that she was not a romance option in the original game (and I mean original, before I even knew she was one in ME2), so you get no argument from me there. But my point is rather that it's not a choice that you always make just one way: there are people who don't care about Tali (I imagine :P) and view the Quarian-Geth war the same way I presented it. For them chosing Geth over Quarians is either a "no-brainer" or just as good a choice. By my understanding examples in the video are meant to present the choices the gaming community at larger makes as "standard". Thus simply because Tali is one of the romance options in the game doesn't qualify, I'm afraid ^^'
Choose the Red Door in Saints Row IV is missing from this list as Zinyak gives you a choice while saving Matt Miller to choose the blue door to save your friends or the red door to sacrifice yourself as a saviour. In choosing the red door the game ends and suddenly You fail the mission just like if you romance with Morinth in Mass Effect 2. So if you end up at the door section of the game always choose the blue door.
Killing Parthurnax in Skyrim. Yes he was once bad, but he reformed. He now teaches the Greybeards the way of the voice. He taught Tiber Septim the way of the voice and he founded The Empire and Septim line of Emperors. He teaches you how to kill Alduin. And now Delphine and Esbern, the last of the Blades want you to kill him. Don't do it. Delphine and Esbern just get mad at you if you don't.

Persona 4: Golden - Choosing to not tell your friends about the serial killer's identity after you deduce it, earning you the "Accomplice" ending. Mass Effect 3 - Choosing to betray Urdnot Wrex and sabotage the genophage cure.
In Dishonored you can have your cake and eat it too. You have to open the safe BEFORE you get the quest AND without knowing the code. All codes are already decided when you start the game so you can just try every combo and it will work (takes about 10-15 minutes if your unlucky).
In fairness, with Ratchet and Clank I still bought everything. It was more a question of which to buy first and which items to save for New Game + with the expedient bolt multiplier for earning fast cash. Pro Tip: In NG+ the multiplier works on all bolts collected, so if you max it out at 20 and then turn in the crystals on the two planets where you collect them you can get a ton of cash.
I have NEVER sold Fenris and never will. I can't leave Hawke behind or betray Cullen in the third game either. Fenris and Cullen are the loves of my gamer-life. Or two of them. PS. Velvet Assassin is one of my favorites!!!! ❤❤❤❤
YO, and just to add insult to injury there's just 2k coins involved for Ciri; you also get a decree that says you'll get 100k coins when the war ends which you can never exchange.
Choosing to accept the offer from false Igor in Persona 5, or choosing to aid the true killer in Persona 4. Both end the game with you as a traitor to your team and ideals. And in the case of 5, you’re literally warned not to do it.
StarCraft 2: Picking "Protect Colony" instead of "Purify Colony" If you pick first option, you have to fight Protoss, and believe it or not: Protoss have protoss units. But if you pick second option, you have to fight Zerg, and Zerg do not have protoss units (at least in TvZ).
Ya, Dragonair isn't all that, but having at least 2 gets you the Rhydon with it's numbers, and box them all anyway. A good Ice Beam takes out the Dragons in the Gym and elsewhre.
I don’t bother with in game trades for the most part. They’re good once in a while like luvdisc for steelix in x and y but most of the time it’s trading a better Pokémon for a garbage one. They do it more for getting trade evos for people who don’t trade with actual players.
It's also the only ending that any smart and logical person would make. Even the sheriff said that if he, the US Marshal, and the Rookie arrested Joseph Seed at that moment, they would be signing their death certificate. They would leave, come back with the National Guard, and then arrest Seed.
I only chose Morinth just to get full skill points. Yeah, choosing her, reloading then choosing Samara sets up a glitch that can net you an additional skill point each time you assign and reset your skills. Worth it for OCD and just a full repertoire.
I would never have chosen Citra over the life of the friends I grinded so hard for so many hours (and accursed radio towers) to rescue, if it would've been Daisy on the other hand... 😉👌💞🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪

In the H-game "True Love" your best friend confesses his feelings towards you right at the end. Refuse him or else you won't get the ending you've been working hard for (unless you reload).
Baldurs gate throne of bhaal gives you the option about halfway through to reclaim your innocence which resets your character to level 1 with no experience
There is a heartbreaking quest in Odyssey, where a slave wants you to help him because he does not want to be free from servitude... So he pretends he robs his owner in order to be in his debt forever... But if you do not change his mind and help him with the robbery, in the end the guy finds out and tells him that he can't stand the lying, so he can't keep him as a slave, even though he would keep him for sure if he didn't have robbed him...
Oh yes. This makes that one boss fight pretty damn hard. Rejecting the upgrade messes you up occasionally throughout the game, but neither choice is game breaking. Thanks for reminding me of this gem.
Dragon Quest/Warrior One (NES/Famicom) The Dragonlord offers you to rule next to him. If you say Yes, some text appears, the screen turns a red hue, and the game freezes. Ending the game. If you say no, you go into a 2 part battle with the Dragonlord.
That red hue is the same as when you die before you're resurrected, only this time you don't. You chose to side with evil, and the Dragonlord stabs you in the back.

In regards to Morinth, you can only "sleep" with her after the endgame anyways, the offer wont appear until after you defeat the proto-reaper. It also has a knock on effect in ME3, where Morinth becomes a problem there. You do get a message from her early on in your computer, but when you reach Thessia, she has fallen to reaper control and become a named Banshee, very dangerous.
Gold and Silver is a good trade. I don't remember which game, but one of them (maybe even Crystal, since that's actually the one I had) you can't catch Rhyhorn or Rhydon, but CAN catch Dratini. So it's a good trade for the Pokedex. I enjoy you Jess, but if you didn't realize that, maybe videogames aren't for you.... This list isn't y'all's best guys lol there's been at least 2 kinda wrong entries, and that's not including the fact y'all said submitting was Bloodborne's good ending, when it's actually considered the "Failed" ending.
Smaller one is refusing to tell Laurentius in Dark Souls 1 where you find a specific pyromancy. Can’t let that lad go hollow. Better still is the tricky question of “finding pyromancy unsavory”.
Guys. Persona 5 anyone? Igor and his endgame offer is honestly pretty tempting in universe. I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of players thought you needed to take the offer.
As far as the Dragonair thing goes ... yeah, Dragon types are weak to Dragon attacks, but in Gen 1, there's only one Dragon -type attack (Dragon Rage), and it always does 40 damage regardless of weakness or resistance, so Claire's Dragonairs being weak to Dragon is irrelevant in the original games.
I destroyed Megaton after I looted the Bobblehead from the Sheriff's house. If you don't, the whole vision quest thing during the Point Lookout DLC makes no sense, as your character is having flashbacks to blowing up Megaton
@@fabiomoreira5820 I think that's very good info, and the tenpenny tower suite is awesome fancy and larger too, but imo it's not worth losing all the vendors in megaton (especially if your like me and pick up everything you can that's at least decently valuable and sell everything off), and the bobblehead is a must after you pickpocket the sheriff for his key lol
When playing Catwoman's side of Batman: Arkham City, you go into the big baddie's super secure vault underground and steal stuff from it. After fighting the guards a news report shows up on a tv showing that batman has been badly injured in the steel mill and needs help. You (Catwoman) get the option to either leave Gotham with your loot, or go back and save Batman. If you choose to leave Gotham the game ends with a black screen and audio of Barbara freaking out about Batman's death which inevitably leads to the whole city being taken over, only for a rewind affect to play onscreen and you get sent back to when the options show up.
Kadabra for haunter in pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum, it is such a con that people rage because the person traded the haunter with an everstone, ruining people's dreams of obtaining gengar. Seriously, if you're ever in the snowy north of Sinnoh, don't except a trade for a haunter, it's a con
Where is Hooktail from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door on this list? When you bring her to low HP (And did not use the sound effect badge that makes her sick to the stomach due to trauma from crickets), she offers you many options to bargain with her to let her live. She tries bribing you through various means, and you must say no to each of those offers, otherwise, she'll take the chance to land a free hit on you without ever giving you what she promised, then you have to fight her still, but with that hit putting you in a tighter spot. The third offer she makes is outrageous and only would applease in thoughts to those weirdos with a foot fetish.
What about accepting the death god's power (Gig) in Soul Nomad and The World Eaters [PS2]? You LITERALLY gain power rivaling monsters and gods that could destroy/devour countries, but doing so gives up your body to him altogether.
Rachet and Clank 2 wasn't really a bad money grind though. I mean, it only took me one day of non-stop grind to get the money for both weapons. Nowadays you need about that just for a legendary accessory.
After the first sentence I had an issue. In re 7 most people would take the old gf over the random chick on the phone. Sorry I felt chick on the phone was way more trustworthy. She was trying to help him thru. Old girlfriend cursed and too far gone in my opinion and tried to kill Ethan
Yup. I agonised about that one too. While Mia's actions in attacking me were due to the infection, she had still lied to me and betrayed me before she got infected. Choosing her over Zoe, the person who had helped me and actually made the cure, just seemed wrong. Finding out the whole thing was basically Mia's fault after you give her the cure just makes you feel worse. Ironically it's the only way to save both Zoe and Mia though.
Sacrificing your sister for the Sword of Aeons in the first Fable game. If you don't go through with it, you can get Avo's Tear a little later, which has exactly the same stats and augments. Sacrificing Theresa is completely pointless.
Gonna say the obvious... Dragonair can be captured anytime in the game while the ONLY Rhydon in entire game (Gold/Silver) is with this trade, so if you want to complete your pokedex in this game, or you do that.. or you transfer from Red/Blue/Green/Yellow, so... transfer one dragonair which once again.. is captureable any time in the game is the right option.
Emhyr knew exactly what he was doing by bringing out Geralt's payment before Ciri. I mean, the guy is voiced by Charles Dance (who played Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones).

I found a way to circumvent 4 and keep both the Dalish Elves, and the descendants cursed to be werewolves alive basically when you choose bring Xaranath back to speak to Witherfang after some dialogue you get one of three choices you can choose to side with the elves, side with the werewolves, or ask that Xaranath end the curse he created if you choose ask Xarathan to end the curse you'll get some more dialogue where you can then choose to side with him, or demand that he end that the curse, and if you demand that he end the curse he'll then shout out "Do you naïve fools realize what you're doing." If Alister is in the party he says like a badass "We're doing what is right no matter what."
And after a boss fight ends with the centuries-old Elf leader defeated and injured Swiftfang moves to kill him but either Leliana, or Wynne depending on who is in the party will plead to WItherfang to stop Swiftfang from killing Xarathan which Witherfang does and moved by this act of compassion Xarathan agrees to end the curse stating before hand that he is humbled by how he created Witherfang to be a murderous wolf-demon with the mission of cursing the humans who murdered his wife and raped his daughter and their descendants into werewolves yet Witherfang proved to be more noble and just then him, and after apologizing about how he let his rage and hatred for past crimes led him to unjustly punish innocents for the crimes of their predecessors, and then after getting acknowledgment from Witherfang that she is well aware both of them will die when the curse he lifts it, and with the dual sacrifice of him and Witherfang the curse ends the cursed descendants are human again, and the entire Dalish Elf tribe gets to live.

But I mean, when I took him anywhere as a rogue who loved my mage sister all he did was bitch and moan about everything I did. The only reason I didn’t sell him was because my character had been saying the whole time that no one deserves to be locked in chains. This mindset is how he made Isabella into a good guy/hero. She and he never hooked up but that was because he had a soft spot for Merril who he met first(dude keeps his word when he owes you his life, Flemeth).
Still, I personally considered it because all he did was complain when I took him anywhere. Max rivalry with him was easy.
What got me was that Anders betrayed the trust of my Hawks and used him for terrorism so he insisted he had to live with the knowledge that he had betrayed his friend and had done so much damage to the world.

The weird part was that after playing DA:O and the expansions, it really did drive home to me how dangerous magic is in that realm and why such drastic measures are required, but it still didn’t help that Meridith was clearly WAY too into killing mages. Like she was actively hunting for reasons. I know that she had already gotten red lyrium poisoning by the time she shows up but it was hard for even my anti-mage character to support the ludicrous extent she was going to.

The first Dragon Quest game on the NES. The Final Boss asks you to join him instead of fighting him for unlimited power etc. If you choose to side with him instead of defeat him he ends up killing you.

"Side with the Geth instead of the Quarians" I know it's possible to save both, but if not I always save the Quarians. The price for having the Geth on your side is too high.
Okay: why?
Chosing Quarians you STILL allow an entire species to be wiped out. Yes: Tali dies with the Quarians, but - as much as I like her - there isn't much argue that Geth (the "real Geth") were in the right during their conflict with the Quarians and - surprise, surprise - the Geth are MORE open to peace than Quarians are. Basically Quarians are the bad guys in this scenario.
How is siding with Quarians in stead of the Geth a binary choice?

@@mhveteran5571 Actually I romance Tali too; she's basically my "go to" and I was very displeased that she was not a romance option in the original game (and I mean original, before I even knew she was one in ME2), so you get no argument from me there.
But my point is rather that it's not a choice that you always make just one way: there are people who don't care about Tali (I imagine :P) and view the Quarian-Geth war the same way I presented it. For them chosing Geth over Quarians is either a "no-brainer" or just as good a choice.
By my understanding examples in the video are meant to present the choices the gaming community at larger makes as "standard". Thus simply because Tali is one of the romance options in the game doesn't qualify, I'm afraid ^^'
Choose the Red Door in Saints Row IV is missing from this list as Zinyak gives you a choice while saving Matt Miller to choose the blue door to save your friends or the red door to sacrifice yourself as a saviour. In choosing the red door the game ends and suddenly You fail the mission just like if you romance with Morinth in Mass Effect 2. So if you end up at the door section of the game always choose the blue door.
Killing Parthurnax in Skyrim. Yes he was once bad, but he reformed. He now teaches the Greybeards the way of the voice. He taught Tiber Septim the way of the voice and he founded The Empire and Septim line of Emperors. He teaches you how to kill Alduin. And now Delphine and Esbern, the last of the Blades want you to kill him. Don't do it. Delphine and Esbern just get mad at you if you don't.
Best advice? Install "The Paarthurnax Dilemma" mod. Allows one to complete the Blades questline, should you choose to without killing Paarthurnax.

In Dishonored you can have your cake and eat it too. You have to open the safe BEFORE you get the quest AND without knowing the code. All codes are already decided when you start the game so you can just try every combo and it will work (takes about 10-15 minutes if your unlucky).

In fairness, with Ratchet and Clank I still bought everything. It was more a question of which to buy first and which items to save for New Game + with the expedient bolt multiplier for earning fast cash. Pro Tip: In NG+ the multiplier works on all bolts collected, so if you max it out at 20 and then turn in the crystals on the two planets where you collect them you can get a ton of cash.
I have NEVER sold Fenris and never will. I can't leave Hawke behind or betray Cullen in the third game either. Fenris and Cullen are the loves of my gamer-life. Or two of them.

Ya, Dragonair isn't all that, but having at least 2 gets you the Rhydon with it's numbers, and box them all anyway. A good Ice Beam takes out the Dragons in the Gym and elsewhre.
I don’t bother with in game trades for the most part. They’re good once in a while like luvdisc for steelix in x and y but most of the time it’s trading a better Pokémon for a garbage one. They do it more for getting trade evos for people who don’t trade with actual players.
Farcry 5 - At the beginning don't take John Seed into custody and just walk away. Only way to get a happy ending.
It's also the only ending that any smart and logical person would make. Even the sheriff said that if he, the US Marshal, and the Rookie arrested Joseph Seed at that moment, they would be signing their death certificate.
They would leave, come back with the National Guard, and then arrest Seed.

Yeah, choosing her, reloading then choosing Samara sets up a glitch that can net you an additional skill point each time you assign and reset your skills. Worth it for OCD and just a full repertoire.

There is a heartbreaking quest in Odyssey, where a slave wants you to help him because he does not want to be free from servitude... So he pretends he robs his owner in order to be in his debt forever... But if you do not change his mind and help him with the robbery, in the end the guy finds out and tells him that he can't stand the lying, so he can't keep him as a slave, even though he would keep him for sure if he didn't have robbed him...

Oh yes. This makes that one boss fight pretty damn hard. Rejecting the upgrade messes you up occasionally throughout the game, but neither choice is game breaking. Thanks for reminding me of this gem.

Dragon Quest/Warrior One (NES/Famicom) The Dragonlord offers you to rule next to him. If you say Yes, some text appears, the screen turns a red hue, and the game freezes. Ending the game. If you say no, you go into a 2 part battle with the Dragonlord.
That red hue is the same as when you die before you're resurrected, only this time you don't. You chose to side with evil, and the Dragonlord stabs you in the back.

In regards to Morinth, you can only "sleep" with her after the endgame anyways, the offer wont appear until after you defeat the proto-reaper. It also has a knock on effect in ME3, where Morinth becomes a problem there. You do get a message from her early on in your computer, but when you reach Thessia, she has fallen to reaper control and become a named Banshee, very dangerous.
Gold and Silver is a good trade. I don't remember which game, but one of them (maybe even Crystal, since that's actually the one I had) you can't catch Rhyhorn or Rhydon, but CAN catch Dratini. So it's a good trade for the Pokedex. I enjoy you Jess, but if you didn't realize that, maybe videogames aren't for you.... This list isn't y'all's best guys lol there's been at least 2 kinda wrong entries, and that's not including the fact y'all said submitting was Bloodborne's good ending, when it's actually considered the "Failed" ending.

As far as the Dragonair thing goes ... yeah, Dragon types are weak to Dragon attacks, but in Gen 1, there's only one Dragon -type attack (Dragon Rage), and it always does 40 damage regardless of weakness or resistance, so Claire's Dragonairs being weak to Dragon is irrelevant in the original games.

If you don't, the whole vision quest thing during the Point Lookout DLC makes no sense, as your character is having flashbacks to blowing up Megaton
But it does not tell you that you get a house no matter the choice.

When playing Catwoman's side of Batman: Arkham City, you go into the big baddie's super secure vault underground and steal stuff from it. After fighting the guards a news report shows up on a tv showing that batman has been badly injured in the steel mill and needs help. You (Catwoman) get the option to either leave Gotham with your loot, or go back and save Batman. If you choose to leave Gotham the game ends with a black screen and audio of Barbara freaking out about Batman's death which inevitably leads to the whole city being taken over, only for a rewind affect to play onscreen and you get sent back to when the options show up.
Kadabra for haunter in pokemon diamond, pearl, and platinum, it is such a con that people rage because the person traded the haunter with an everstone, ruining people's dreams of obtaining gengar. Seriously, if you're ever in the snowy north of Sinnoh, don't except a trade for a haunter, it's a con

Where is Hooktail from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door on this list? When you bring her to low HP (And did not use the sound effect badge that makes her sick to the stomach due to trauma from crickets), she offers you many options to bargain with her to let her live. She tries bribing you through various means, and you must say no to each of those offers, otherwise, she'll take the chance to land a free hit on you without ever giving you what she promised, then you have to fight her still, but with that hit putting you in a tighter spot. The third offer she makes is outrageous and only would applease in thoughts to those weirdos with a foot fetish.
It's still worth lying during the assassin quest in Dark Souls 2 if you're an achievement hunter.

Yup. I agonised about that one too. While Mia's actions in attacking me were due to the infection, she had still lied to me and betrayed me before she got infected. Choosing her over Zoe, the person who had helped me and actually made the cure, just seemed wrong. Finding out the whole thing was basically Mia's fault after you give her the cure just makes you feel worse. Ironically it's the only way to save both Zoe and Mia though.
Sacrificing your sister for the Sword of Aeons in the first Fable game. If you don't go through with it, you can get Avo's Tear a little later, which has exactly the same stats and augments. Sacrificing Theresa is completely pointless.
While not exactly an option, there is the mention from Astrid what will happen to anyone who eats a Jarin Root...

Gonna say the obvious... Dragonair can be captured anytime in the game while the ONLY Rhydon in entire game (Gold/Silver) is with this trade, so if you want to complete your pokedex in this game, or you do that.. or you transfer from Red/Blue/Green/Yellow, so... transfer one dragonair which once again.. is captureable any time in the game is the right option.

The Outer Worlds: Choosing to do the calculations yourself, rather than have ADA (your ships computer) do them, when you're skipping the Hope colony ship from the edge of the system.
It would probably not be a bad idea to refuse the red pill and just take the blue pill, or take nothing at all.
