I have a neat idea for a list-top games with pleasant haptic feedback, or in other words, top games that literally feel good to play. Miss you, Osley! Good luck!
@Tao Pai Pai It's what lead to the ESRB rating system, because of some games that parents bought for their kids on Sega Genesis and discovering how violent the game was, they got angry. At the time Sega had a rating system for games on their console, but not Nintendo which was a more family friendly console. Gaming historian covers it really well.
Most films and games I see always has the wrong age rating. It is either too high or too low. Final Destination was a 15 whilst Friday the 13th was an 18. How does that work? Friday the 13th had to keep cutting all the violent stuff (somehow nudity was allowed to go ahead). There is animated stuff which is rather grim and depressing for a young child which is a PG yet you have positive stuff that is bumped up to a 12. That is why I never use the age rating and just make up my own mind about it. I'd say parents should use their own itiative by earching up the gameplay or footage of animated/live action stuff in order to see if their child is able to watch it.
Talking about the Two Worlds 2 magic system reminded me of Mages of Mystralia. In that game you build your spells on a hex grid using a variety of components which interact based on what they're connected to and each one only connecting in certain directions. This allows you to make spells that do very specific and complicated things, but where it REALLY gets broken is the "trigger" components which let you designate a spell and, when the trigger is fulfilled, it casts that spell. With the right combination of effects and triggers you can make a spell that covers the entire screen in projectiles, albeit at the cost of you not getting to have mana until the last projectile times out.
Crystal Monsters! I haven't heard that name in years and boy does it take me back. It was one of those games I downloaded onto my 3DS to try out and I was surprisingly enjoying it. Sure, it does rip off Pokemon in quite a few ways, it also had other mechanics in there as well that just worked. I love the Two worlds series,I played both but my favorite was the first honestly. Mainly because I found a exploite where you can make around $200,000. You clear the north, all the quests. Then you spend all the money you get on summon cards and magic potions. After that you max all magics trees by reallocating all skill points into magic. Then all you do is swim across the river to the end game area with the necropolis and just explore with an army of minions to your hearts content. I bought a copy of that last game in Japan, where it was titled "THE 大美人". It was an interesting little novelty, but it was coded so badly it made my PS2 (slim) actually lag. That spellcasting system is pretty similar to the one in Eternal Darkness, except it's a little bit simpler in that game. It's interesting coming up with new spells and having no idea what they do.
Haha, second coming of Christ. How about top 10 What culture gaming videos that attracted the most complaints. You know the god squad will be all over this.
I remember some Christians being mad about Far Cry 5, saying it had an anti Christian message. I don't think that it was too widespread a complaint, but I thought it was funny. There's also Fight of Gods that got people up in arms. IIRC there was a bit of a stink about the early Assassins Creed games because some people also claimed it had anti Christian and anti Catholic messaging. Of course none of these games were actually played by the people complaining the most, or they might get an inkling of how ridiculous these claims were. The Christian Persecution Complex is entertaining in some cases but most of the time it's absolutely insufferable. You can't claim to be persecuted and the underdogs when you make up about 70% of the western world. Also, I'm referring to the evangelicals and fundamentalists here, not the people just practicing their faith and going about their lives without the need to be aggrieved at every turn.
@@madalice5134 In fairness, the game did nothing, it was an off the cuff comment from Jules. You're right that Christian/religious gamers tend not to care about things like that it's usually people who've never played games, as shown by Oliver in the above comments.
@@madalice5134 yes no idea why people would get offended by far cry it's more like a Jim Jones style cult then christianity. In the west (particularly America) there is a feeling of persecution, however in china, if you mention jesus or the gospel in zoom more then a set number of times the call is cut and you could be arrested. So mad . Its usually the same people convinced that all video games are bad, whilst watching most action films on telly.

WE WILL MISS YOU OASLEY! (I hope I spelled that right) You’re an absolutely legend and we will remember you fondly and hopefully see you in your next endeavor.
There is one game that I got off of Steam for all of fifty Canadian cents and I actually LOVE it! It's called Combat Wings: Battle of Britain. It's a WWII flight game and it's an absolute hoot! The Germans taunt you with phrases like "I am coming for you Tommy!" and say funny things when you shoot them down like "Aiiiiiieeeeee!". The mechanics are simple, you fly with your mouse. The physics are non-existent so you can do impossible stunts in your plane and I found a bug that allows me to have 99 bombs and 99 rockets. The problem is that it's been so long since I've played that I forgot what the bug was. I think that you have to restart a mission with 0 bombs/rockets and when you start again, you'll have 99 or something like that. Anyway, the game is delightfully silly but is still a pretty entertaining flight combat game with pretty good graphics. I'd recommend it to anyone, since, you know, it costs less than a dollar and will take about a week to complete.
I have an...interesting addition to this topic, in fact, it would probably be better placed on a list of “games that seemed awesome but turned out to be terrible.” The game in question is an obscure DS game called Avalon Code. The whole concept is based around using this special book to swap around the elements that define things and shape the world as you see fit. Sounds cool, right? Too bad the combat relies almost entirely on moving as many detrimental elements as possible (namely sickness) onto whatever you currently fighting, usually having to flip to the last thing you fought to find them again. Oh, and aside from base weapon attack power, the game doesn’t tell you what the elements you put on items even do for them.
Man that ending got me, hit me hard. Can definitely feel the sadness watching this! Well done all of you, you’re all great and farewell bros! I know you’ll do great! ❤️
Going to add Tomb Raider Angel of darkness, the controls may be broken but the story, atmosphere and soundtrack more than make up for some clunky controls
With Truck Racing somebody uploaded a video to TH-cam of them showing the uncapped reverse. They speeded it up to show the after about fifty five minutes. The game hits a top speed of 12.3 Undecillion mph before it says You're Winner. Which is literally more than six times the speed of light.
This is the video where Oasley announced his departure 😭 You miss months of content and you come back to missing members. Best of luck to Oasley and Rich. It was a joy watching you on screen and good luck in all your future endeavors.
Big Rigs is actually a banger of a game lol. It's SO fun to mess around with the speed and physics. Games I'd like to add to this list though: - Ride to Hell: Retribution - Yes, I'm serious. Not really that fun as a TPS tbh, but the game can be hilarious at times. - Sonic 06 - Genuinely good game imo and a lot of people just sleep on it. The glitches are also really fun to mess around with.
List suggestion: Boss marathons more exhausting than an actual marathon. Those boss rushes that take either an insane amount of time or skill to complete (eg. the Pantheon of Hallownest in Hollow Knight). Bonus points to the ones that won't let you save at any point!
In “Big Rig” you can reach almost 18 octillion times the speed of light going backwards. At that point, all checkpoints turn green and it declares “YOU’RE WINNER” because the truck is technically everywhere on the game.

And yes I do watch your other channel as well. with that out of the way I also had a suggestion for a tues your own adventure, ten most creative team ups in the gaming history (like silent hills- kojimax del toro, shadows of the Damned- mikami and yamaoka,) basically an amazing renowned people came together to create one amazing product
Idea: Games where the ending made you say WTF? (ex. a game that took a lot of work to play it, then when you finally finish it, you don't get any reward, the game just ends)
Thank you Oasley for all of your hard work and carrying the torch for Sonic at WhatCulture! I'll miss your blunt and straightforward humor and your mad editing skills, best of luck and success at your new endeavors! And thank you and good luck to Rich as well, I'll miss your commentary and energy! It won't be the same without you two, but you can't grow in stagnation!
Aww damn! I liked Oasley, he wasn't Always the most entertaining guy, but he's Definitely creative, seems like a nice person And genuinely seemed willing to go along with some ridiculous\funny ideas for the channel aswell as this show. Someone like that should always be bound for success and i hope he does well wherever he ends up.
OASLEY! RICH! AAAAA! D:
Thanks for helping bring us all smiles through these dark, dank times. You'll be missed.
Also the minimalist editing there at the end was hilarious.
Magaton Rainfall, of which I'd love to see picked up and taken seriously. The while game could fit as a mechanic in a really shweet superhero game.
We are all going to miss you Oasley! I always loved your little cameos and music interludes on Tues your own adventure. I wish you the best on your journey and you know it won't be the same without ya! Go and smash it out the park!
I knew Demolition Girl looked familiar. I have this game still along with all my favorites lol. It is kinda like Mister Mosquito. One of those weird PS2 hidden gems you just have to play.
Won't lie, got a little lump in my throat at the end of that one. Its been a joy watching you work, Os. Best of luck on your future endeavors... you massive ledge, you!
Good luck in your new job oasley, you big legend. Thank you for all the content you have brought us
That spellcasting system is pretty similar to the one in Eternal Darkness, except it's a little bit simpler in that game. It's interesting coming up with new spells and having no idea what they do.
That sucks about Oasley leaving. However, good luck to him for his next venture!
And Rich too! I've just seen that as well.
7:55 Loved the fact the editor didnt add in a paintcan rattle sound and let us listen to the weird noise those cheeks make
God hand was fun to play. it was so out there it made the whole experience enjoyable
Goodbye Oasley! Thanks for all the hardwork and funny bits over the years! Best of luck to you and Rich both!!!!!!
Haha, second coming of Christ. How about top 10 What culture gaming videos that attracted the most complaints. You know the god squad will be all over this.
As a Christian I can say I'm not offended being that it's a giant blob and satirical
However I did suggest 10 cheesiest / worst dialogues in games
Nice to see Two Worlds II mentioned in this vid, I had so much fun experimenting with that magic system, summons and nukes made things a little too easy XD
Also, good luck out there Oasley and Rich.
It went from singing about a woman stepping on him to this. Sad to see you go man!
Big lurker here and first comment ever on your videos, good luck on your future endeavors my man! Going to miss the shrouded laptop typing, and you guys love yourself! Always keeping us uplifted and in high spirits, you all deserve the love this time, keep your head up and you all keep smashing it haha 🤙🏽
Godzilla Unleashed (Wii): The controls may be clunky, but it was paradise as a Godzilla fan.
I could barely finish a match or two with them shitty controls.
@@GojiraRising I admit the controls were terrible, but any game could be mastered. Once you did, the experience would be glorious.
Thwle original gogira game from the ness that was awesome but a shitty game if you played as mothra
thank you to stick it to IGN! God Hand was SUPERB! the dialoque, this is the most underestemated fighter ever! this damded game needs a reboot!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"If you're gonna steal from someone, steal from the best" - that description does NOT fit the pokemon company.
I thought I was the only one.
Steal from a company that actually textures their trees.
Best of luck Oasley thank you for your time!!! Idea: Top songs that were made specifically for Videogames (Still Alive from Portal)
Good bye Oasley. And good luck. It has been a good time✌
WE WILL MISS YOU OASLEY! (I hope I spelled that right) You’re an absolutely legend and we will remember you fondly and hopefully see you in your next endeavor.
*Oasley.
@@Desmuria thank you
Lets move on before it gets weirder...
Proceeds to get weirder*
Good luck in everything you do bro! I hope it’s amazing. I know it will be!
You just had to make the thumbnail more clickbaity.
Best adult jokes in non M rated games.
List ideas:
1. Medical video games
2. Card game turned video game
10 cheesiest/worst dialogues in games ;)
I have an...interesting addition to this topic, in fact, it would probably be better placed on a list of “games that seemed awesome but turned out to be terrible.”
The game in question is an obscure DS game called Avalon Code.
I remember Kaiser Knuckle, the stupid general is harder than a platinum trophy on dark souls
Man that ending got me, hit me hard. Can definitely feel the sadness watching this! Well done all of you, you’re all great and farewell bros! I know you’ll do great! ❤️
For some reason when he repeatedly said "have all of'em." I heard it as hadouken.
Great video...but maybe put a black outline around the text overlay? The url you put over the video is barely visible.
Going to add Tomb Raider Angel of darkness, the controls may be broken but the story, atmosphere and soundtrack more than make up for some clunky controls
Those 3 were the only good things about it.
I dunno why I got emotional in the ending there. But sometimes you have to more on to new adventures. Best of luck Oasley
IGN is an absolute joke of a site. Jules > IGN.
With Truck Racing somebody uploaded a video to TH-cam of them showing the uncapped reverse. They speeded it up to show the after about fifty five minutes. The game hits a top speed of 12.3 Undecillion mph before it says You're Winner. Which is literally more than six times the speed of light.
Ok I'll go along with this
this show has been one of my favorite shows ive found on youtube, tues your own adventure has been a big highlight for me and seeing Oasley!
4:15 i love how thats simba and the darker one is nala lol. Clearly they're more detailed compared to the other animals
This is the video where Oasley announced his departure 😭 You miss months of content and you come back to missing members. Best of luck to Oasley and Rich. It was a joy watching you on screen and good luck in all your future endeavors.
I love the two worlds series!!! Craft your own spells! Proper summoner and archer classing!!
Big Rigs is actually a banger of a game lol. It's SO fun to mess around with the speed and physics.
Games I'd like to add to this list though:
- Ride to Hell: Retribution - Yes, I'm serious. Not really that fun as a TPS tbh, but the game can be hilarious at times.
- Sonic 06 - Genuinely good game imo and a lot of people just sleep on it. The glitches are also really fun to mess around with.
Best of luck Oasley. Sad to see you go, good luck with the new job
List suggestion: Boss marathons more exhausting than an actual marathon. Those boss rushes that take either an insane amount of time or skill to complete (eg. the Pantheon of Hallownest in Hollow Knight). Bonus points to the ones that won't let you save at any point!
Great video!
Suggestion for an episode: 10 creepiest creature sounds in horror games!
Great list man! Good luck to you oasley. always entertaining
