- This is how we do it The CLE! Coastal soaring on beautiful Lake Erie from Edgewater Park, Cleveland to Lakewood's Gold Coast condominiums via challenging low altitude flying in front of gorgeous mansion homes.
Super.

Nice flying! Nice scratchy stuff in strong winds! Good skills!
Damn, takes guts to scratch that close with few bail out landing spots. Great flying.
Looked like you were soaring the buildings at one point ..
I enjoy this type of flying.
I like your style Man
👍🏴
@@tommybryson2311 thanks man!
Impressive, right on the edge with the wind...
@@johnnyhunter4345 I have to give some credit to the reliable lake thermals that day as well
Very impressive flight Ron! Would you mind to share some landing videos? I am wondering where do you land at this beautiful site.
Very cool Ron….. im impressed how the trees near launch provide lift!
Also soaring the buildings was cool too!
@@jamesbrindley4507 great point!... it's a pretty amazing place to fly
Very impressive Ron! I also like the way you have a backup strap in case your primary strap fails. Nice control prior to launch letting the wind do the work of holding the glider up.
It's great that the city let's this activity happen. A lot of places they would be saying "no no fun here."
Getting low over the water must be a little nerve-wracking.
Nice lift from the condos!
That's a pretty bold line you took was that a lot of good options to bail if you lost your lift.
We want to see the landing though!
@@NelsonsWings thank you for the compliment!
@@NelsonsWings no really good bailout options for HG, only PG. I've done this run so many times in my PG before attempting this! Don't think I could have done it so seemingly casual otherwise lol. Big commitment!
@@NelsonsWings GoPro battery ran out before I landed.

i wouldn't have zipped up all the way either! 😄 nice job using what was there. i'm thinkin' one of the new alpha 235's might be a bit easier (slightly slower as well though)
@@atosvr2 I've wondered the same about those big slow Alpha's here. Would be fun for sure!
Wow it looks so close at 10:35!
Just made it around that last bend. Hearing the waves crashing under was close but I knew I'd find lift there from past experience.
Takeoffs there always look intense! Have you ever not climbed?
A couple times I've failed. Usually I can make it safely to a small beach but I've had a water landing once and crashed into the hill once which really hurt me.
That was awesome, Thanks for sharing.
@@outdoormaniac8760 glad you enjoyed!
