I get packet burst almost every other gunfight and getting ps4 frames. I’m gonna switch to Xbox because this game is so bad on PC. I would be having a blast if it wasn’t for my game crashing and glitching and lagging every 20 seconds. Do not buy this game on pc it’s not worth it. I didn’t but just saying.
This game is just Go Go Go. Evertime I kill someone in front of me, I immediately have to turn around and get ready for the next gun fight. People slide from ever direction. It's hard to stay alive. And then it seems like it takes so many bullets to kill. It's getting tiring real fast
I think with the different maps at launch it will give players more breathing room bc it does feel insanely fast on the few we got but I’m sure they’ll iron out the spawns and hopefully they can give players a bit of room to breath
Revenge spawns and the recon perk also contribute. Holding a choke point or power position is basically obsolete since enemies get a free wall hack off of spawn and there's no counter perk or even worse will spawn closer to you with said perk.
That’s treyarch’s (treylane’s)signature play style with the predictable smaller ’3 lane’ map design. Don’t move far off the spawn and you should be able to find a spot with cover like a crate where you can trap guys spawning and guys rushing towards you. Trick is do like you said and keep turning 180, do this back and forth between the spawn and lane. You should last 10-15 seconds longer than before😅
U can't fix the spawn issue. They (Treyarch) said all the maps are small and medium so won't be any bigger than what they have now. Spawns can't be fixed because there's always a few idiots running to the opponents spawn and flipping spawns. Maps are too small to not even do it. @@cameronmilhouse740
@@GhostCodeRG I'm on Series X and at 120Hz it just feels like 30-60fps and stutters constantly and largely unplayable. Downloaded the PS5 version and it's smooth in comparison at 120Hz, very odd.
This game feels like it's for players that only play the small maps playlist in MW3. They should seriously consider switching to 5v5 if they can't figure out how to improve the spawns. I'll rent the game for the campaign, but I think I'm gonna go with Delta Force and Marvel Rivals for that multiplayer fix.

I'm in your group where I'm getting Packet Bursts constantly and my bullets just don't want to register, ever! Not only that, but it takes me double the amount of shots to kill for every single gun in the game, and yet my opponents kill me in 3 shots or less! This game is terrible and I am glad that I did not preorder this garbage! Also, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet run more smoothly than this game, and that is absolutely insane to me! Four years, four thousand devs!

As a slightly above average 1.2/1.3 KD player without SBMM, I feel like I get shafted the most by the system. I'm not bad enough to benefit from it or good enough to really overcome it, so I'm constantly fighting for my life just to have a 1.0 KD in these lobbies. It's exhausting.
First 5 matches I played I had 3 k/ds or higher and then my game crashed, after that it was a entirely different bracket. My friends who haven't played cod in years didn't go positive. Sbmm is wild

That’s because this guys life depends entirely on this franchise and TH-cam he has no choice if he wants to call himself a COD youtuber. Sad he won’t just admit this game fucking sucks and it’s nothing but an abusive relationship ON PURPOSE. Toxic relationships are extremely hard to leave it. Forget having a good experience they want you afflicted and coming back it’s in the heart of the game.
People complained about larger maps because the larger maps these days are awful with no flow. It’s been that way since MW2019. Even the advanced movement era didn’t have this issue nearly as much because even if the map wasn’t the best the 3 lanes kept the flow. Now it’s all small to medium maps with the fastest movement in any CoD with awful SBMM. I really miss pre-mw2019 gameplay and maps.
I am so with you. Cod before mw2019 was so great. Always a new experience every single year. Now, every single game is a mw2019 clone w the exception of cold war.
Granted I’ve only played maybe 3 hours this weekend, but my experience has been just instant time to die on my end, versus a long ttk at longer ranges, wild lag spikes, and terrible spawns with constant flips. Quite often I would spawn inside the opposite spawn and just be insta deleted. If these spawns are good, last week must have been awful! I also don’t think I ever heard a footstep
This mirrors my experience with the open beta. I love the movement and guns but even with gigabit Ethernet my connection is having issues. Plus the beta maps are kinda mid, they’re not really amazing

The spawns are still egregious. On the new map I watched 5 enemies spawn right in front of me and I killed them all and the game kept spawning them right on top of me. The whole time they're raging in the death mic. So bad.

Match just began and a guy threw a grade at our spawn and killed us. Even shipment had better spawns because it knew what it was. These smaller maps want the flow of medium sized maps with the spawns of small ones.
Spawns are abysmal. The absolute worst ever. You almost need to run triple blue perks just to be ready for an immediate fight. Anywhere and or everywhere. Whether it's a team spawning on you or you spawning on another team. Just feels like you hardly get a chance to catch your breath and get a sense for the game. Feels like I can barely look at and assess the score, map, and loadout. But something far worse and more rage inducing happened to me last night. The game spawned me behind an afk teammate for the 1st time. I was literally body blocked spawn trapped inadvertently by my own teammate. At a key moment in the game to where we needed to clutch up. If I wasn't playing with a friend I probably would have ragequit. It would be unfair to blame the match loss on that 1 situation, but sure as hell didn't help

This is the most unpolished beta I ever played and it's supposedly the one with the longest dev time(3 years and 11 months). Oh and the assault rifles absolutely suck

hard agree. 5v5 is like 2011 era gaming all over again. We have the technology to do better, and we should. (That said, the giant maps and 32v32 was a disaster for them because they have no understanding of that type of Battlefield gameplay at all)
The stuttering is completely out of control. Some matches it's literally every other second. I have to quit the match. Spawns are god awful. Desync. It's a major issue for me now. Wasn't beta week 1. And I find a lot of the basic features. Luge just reloading your gun. Seem to take far too long. In a game that's so fast paced. They need to speed up reloading across the board. Then fast hands should make it even faster still. The silly glitch where you can't call in streaks is still there too. For a game with a 4 year development cycle. I think this is unacceptable. This beta has the most game destroying bugs off any cod I can remember . Worst thing is I actually enjoy the base game when it works as intended
The hiccup at 0:36 was happening to me almost every gun fight. That’s not TH-cam or a video upload issue. That’s the server quality that’s coming with BO6. Literally happens multiple times per match.

The MP5 is now taking the place of the Gepard (Jackal) and making the game unbearably sweaty again already. These people need to get a life and stop metah hugging in a BETA. Also the No Headshot Multiplier on any guns is absolutely absurdly bad game design. Just enables headglitches to be twice as powerful and SMG’s dominate no mater what at close to close-mid range. Literally no chance if you don’t have one in your back pocket and you’re using an AR.

Yeah and the CFH Barrel doesn’t really improve the TTK on most weapons. AR’s also have a steep damage drop off, which makes them like slower submachine guns. The submachine guns really benefit from the omni movement system too, making the Jackal and MP5 OP right now. Every time I try holding an angle with an AR, someone with the Jackal darts around a corner and sprays me. I respawn, live about 15 seconds, and die again. Considering how hectic the omni movement is, the headshot multiplier should be HIGHER than other games because it’s going to be hard to consistently hit the head.
As someone who didn’t play week one I have to say the spawns on every single map EXCEPT Babylon, especially skyline and derelict, control is non existent in my lobbies and the descync is fucking crazy, it’s caused me to constantly get outgunned by SMGs at ranges they shouldn’t be and this honestly just feels terrible as a game to play
1.GUNFIGHT SYNC: I get the opposite, takes all day sometimes to kill someone while I get shredded in no time. I've sat and watched the kill cam to see what they are doing that I am not, and I shoot first hit a head shot then the rest upper body meanwhile person that kills me hit my feet and legs and were using the same gun. makes no sense. 2. MOVEMENT: movement is terrible my settings were imported from MW3 why am I not moving like that, I tried messing with the settings, copying people and all I do is crouch all the damn time now instead of slide canceling. I shouldn't need to change IMPORTED SETTINGS which still doesn't even work. 3.SKIPS AND STUTTERS: The game has been relatively smooth, there will be at most a couple of times where it studders as soon as i get in a gunfight and no other time. 4. SPAWNING: has been like this since MW3 for me, I have a high SPM and slightly above average KD despite spawning like this the whole game, every game. It's fucking terrible and I want to lose to gun fights. Not because you spawned me into the ADS'd snipers scope 3 times in a row. Also, there should be no fucking way I'm in the play of the game getting killed twice because of spawning right back to the person that just killed me. Spawning in Gala to not even take a step before someone camping middle uptop is one of the worst offenders. 5. WEAPONS: The attachments don't feel like they increase ADS/Sprint to fire movement speed, if i try to make a max speed build in this game I'm still way to close to the speed of a player not running what I have. MW3 you can have a 99 m/s ads on the static smg and reengage a lot faster or quiet often get two kills very quick in MP 6.WEAPON SWAPS: I don't use secondaries hardly ever so no opinion 7. FOOTSTEP AUDIO: no complaints ***MW3 BONUS*** : I get the most try hard movement god YY lobbies, I have not in my entire COD play time done a YY. I don't even do this stuff and I keep getting these lobbies of guys that don't miss and teammates that all score worse than me every game, like if I did no objectives I would lose EVERY game. Meanwhile you have people like futives and Korean savage with probably an 8 KD getting brainless lobbies where they miss damn near all their shots or seemingly don't even see them and always caught by surprise. SBMM/EOMM is bullshit and the main reason after terrible spawns why I won't be buying this crap unless I see MAJOR improvements. Tired of SBMM/EOMM setting me up to fail/die and now I'm sitting on a negative KD in the match like I'm ass with 22 days of playtime, fuck out of here. (Top 1600's on the MW3 Career Leaderboard)
Agree with mostly all of this. The settings CAN be fixed to make it more fluid, however I did notice with the Tanto smg I do end up crouching like you're saying but with any other smg I'm not noticing it as much. As far as the first point of yours, 100% this is my issue I'm having and I can't stand it

Strafing is key. The strafing feels very fast like overwatch. People be doing too much with the movement when all u need is some strafing. I experimented where I just did AD strafing and a lot of players had trouble tracking. This is my observation as a PC player.
The fact that they seem to need real playtime data just to get basic spawn logic in place makes me really nervous about launch since there's a lot of maps we haven't played yet. Could be a rough first week or two.
I agree that weekend #2 has been better. However, my biggest worry and complaint: Can we please have more median to large maps instead of all these small ones during the full release. The game is enjoyable when everyone isn’t constantly on top of each other. Some people want the chaos all the time and that’s fine but let’s have more variety.
The maps in this game are probably the worst maps Treyarch has made. They are too small and too chaotic. Derelict feels way too narrow making it almost feel like a 2 lane map or a chaotic battlefield with how open engagements can be between the lanes in the middle. Scub is probably the most normal map that is just plagued by the headglitch spots at the satelite. Skyline is pretty great but still feels a bit small because how fast you can move but it's okay. Babylon is basically a new Shipment that makes no sense to have in regular 6v6 since we have Face Off. If the other maps are all as chaotic and small as these we are in for a bad year. This game is designed for the wrong crowd. I used to be annoyed by Treyarch making more competitive focused maps but oh boy were they a lot better than this. The awful spawns don't help either but I guess it is inevitable with these maps and the speed of the players
My experience has been in line with yours, other than the stutters. After I made sure there wasn't anything else running on my PC, soooper buttery smooth. Some of my best Cod gameplay in a while.
Saying "it plays much better than last weekend" really paints a picture if it's THIS bad now. I can't remember last time I got tired and burnt out during a bloody beta. It's that bad people.
@@AD-sg9trthat's odd but to Ace's point everyone's experience seems to be different. On my PS5 I've had a few games last weekend and this weekend with lag (zero packet bursts) but 98% are incredibly smooth.
Spawns and connection consistency are the two biggest things keeping me from completely enjoying the game. One match im melting ppl and it feels so good then the next game i feel like im shooting pellets and getting insta melted. I've just learned to deal with the fact that sbmm will be cranked to 11 at all times for me.
It's funny how people would complain about loud footsteps in mw19 and mw2 but now want louder footsteps. Iv seen multiple people ask for louder footsteps
U cant just make people go through the bullshit, make them get used to it and then again remove the bullshit and now they have to readjust again. The readjustment takes effort and energy and they r not having it
I've noticed the spawns have changed somewhat. Some better, some worse. This being the second weekend I've also noticed a much larger amount of omnimovement spammers. I'm just an old man that plays a kid's game but in my opinion omnimovement is just an annoying gimmick. It's like the new jet boots or whatever that was called back with BO2 or whichever game that was. The new submachine gun is a POS as well.
I get to play BO6 for free with Gamepass, and still have no drive to play it after this and last weekend. Felt like I would get Packet Burst every time I got into a gunfight no matter what range.
Shaping up to be easily the worst treyarch game in franchise history. I usually look forward to the treyarch games, but at a fundamental level this does not play anything like a treyarch title. The maps we have seen are terrible, the addition of tac sprint ruins map flow and spawns (as it has for years), the movement is fine but on top of egregious desync it feels like you need to constantly abuse it. I was very good at BOCW and liked that game a lot, and it's crazy how this is a night and day difference in just about every category.
They totally hit the mark with the footstep audio. I can just chill and play respawn coming out of my TV speakers and not be at a huge disadvantage. Ninja and Ghost being in the same perk category is a no-brainer and great to see too.
They said they nerfed it, but I don't believe so. I still get shredded by the Jackal. Also, they need to buff the hell out of the shotgun. It's completely obsolete.

@@jey7230 bud, I am not going to level up every gun to level 50. It's a beta, so I want to play with every gun. And if the Jackal without attachments competes at mid range with the ARs and wins at close range, that's an issue. No AR should be a 5 shot kill at close range. None.
I feel like I can’t breathe with these maps. Every time I spawn I have maybe a second or two before seeing an enemy and get insta deleted. Somehow I already feel burnt out
I really don’t like how almost every gunfight I get into, thanks to SBMM, people are playing as if they’re in CoD champs. I hate how almost every close up gunfight which is a majority since most of the maps are small to close range medium sized maps, enemies are sliding into each engagement. It’s irritating that that’s what is determined who wins a gunfight, who slid better.
Take it from me, I'm no shottzy but I have definitely far above average movement and slide/ jump shot everywhere but I lose gun fights so much because of desync when I should be getting peekers advantage. It doesn't work for us all
The 2nd week is absolute hot garbage tbh...1st week was just only fair. Maps wayyyyyy too small, needs to be medium to large maps, especially with this movement. Not a fan of this. Gun play feels good and smooth though...but that's about the only plus in my eyes...
Gunplay literally feels identical to Vanguard, maybe even worse. Every AR/SMG/LMG feels the same. The CIGMA is barely usable. There's way too much sway and view bobbing.
Surprisingly I haven't had issues other than the spawns. Usually I have packet bursts among other connection issues but this, so far, has been the only CoD game where this hasn't been an issue. (Ps5) Been playing since the beta dropped for those that haven't pre-ordered.
Been feeling like I run into a lot of enemies in a majority of gun fights feels like I’m always seeing 2,3 or 4 enemies when I encounter them not a ton of breathing room in this game
I only played it this weekend and I freaking love it. Probably my favorite feeling CoD ever. Controls are better than they ever have been with more customization to fine tune it exactly how you want. I have sprint assist turned on with 0ms delay, 20 sensitivity with the Reverse S Curve aiming. Feels amazing to me. 120fps mode, too. I love the weapon attachment system too. Easily my favorite in the series. Every attachment is good and it comes down to picking the ones you like without having to worry about tons of side effects. I had no intention of picking this one up but I fell in love with this beta
The maps need complete overhauls. None of them support the intended gameplay loop in the slightest, aside from their extremely angular design that makes flying around corners an absolute must.
This isn’t the treyarch I fell in love with all those years ago. The game is awful. I’m praying zombies has classic mode coming back or I’m gonna regret not cancelling my preorder.
I agree with all points you mention, Ace! One aspect I noted is that the ‘swap speed’ when using the combat axe seems quite slow. Gets me killed more often than not in CQB scenarios. Also the absence of aim assist in these situations is very noticeable. Essentially , when i stay alive pulling out the axe, I often miss the throw. Even in situation when in older COD iterations it would have been a kill quite ‘comfortably’. Overall, this is the first Tryarch game I enjoy since BO2.
I just hate the oart where when your halfway decent...they put you on a team with 5 bad players and you cant win or you lose by 2-5 points on HP and Dom. Another thing is the amount of players that dont know about spawn flipping makes me want to scream.
It feels like Treyarch got instructed in late development to implement some MW elements into their game and it’s causing so many connection and gameplay problems. Even the CW beta wasn’t this bad
MnK player here. Player movement is horrible on MnK. I am getting outplayed easily in a gunfight in long range due to packet bursts. Played MW3 to compare overall experience regarding movement and its much stable, camera not shaking af. BO6 does not do the thing for me. Definitely not buy at the moment.
I think the audience playing this weekend also have less interest in the "meta"- the Jackal is still obviously an insanely good gun but it seems like more are AT LEAST trying new weapons
I am having the opposite feeling this time. Last weekend was a great experience. This weekend I got to level 30, struggling and now stopped playing. The gun fights feel like I am playing in a room full of lag switchers. For those who can remember those fun days. Almost every gun fight I freeze. I really do enjoy this COD. Now if they can get this part fixed.
For a casual gamer such as me, it's a terrible experience. Everyone is so sweaty that it feels like I' playing on a championship final. I don't ser myself having any kind of fun in this game.
It's actually a nightmare for good players too. I'm one and basically I'm playing against top 250 players from MW3, I stopped sweating my balls off on MW3 ranked and I'm force to play ranked on BO6...
the Dsync has followed how you mentioned it for me and opposite for my friends so I'm actually enjoying the game where as they are not to the point they ragequit after a few games which was how I felt week 1 so dsync definitely still needs work overall
I’m having the complete opposite experience of most people. The first weekend I was getting shredded, a lot of bad desync. This week feels smoother and I’m killing it.
The first weekend was good too but because it actually is a whole new game, people needed to get the hang off it in the beginning this is no rocket science.. and the majority of the people who say it's the same game every year 🤢 they all a bunch off sheap without an own opinion. They don't even know what they are talking about and why even. They want the same experience as back when they had they're first cod grinds when it was actually new as in never seen before.. well we've never seen omnimovement before.. and there's a whole bunch of other crap added to this game as well so what do you want more? Rollerblades or laserswords or something?? I don't get it..if you really don't like it that it's basically the same game every year, then maybe you should consider to buy a game that hasn't call of duty in the title..🤔 cause chances are if you buy one of these games you will probably end up playing this game it's called Call Of Duty🤦♂️ like as in a tonyhawk's pro skater game you always gonna end up being a pro skater.. the people that play fifa are getting a newgame every single year.. they play the same map for about 30years allready and still they have no complaints.... It's awful! frame pacing micro stutters, larger network stutters, getting melted (whilst landing 6-7 hit markers), Maps are bad, Spawns are bad. It feels like Treyarch are now having to work under IW because it's the new engine, doesn't feel Treyarch enough.
Is anyone going to acknowledge the elephant in the room in the form of Skyline/Derelict/Babylon being too small, and that such trend is concerning? I mean, come on, COD had too many meat grinder-type maps for the last year, and most of them are dull and boring at this point and this is not the way to go...
Last enjoyable beta I had map-wise was BO3. The maps had so much personality to them while still feeling organic as a 3 lane. Even XD maps had more personality. I hope these aren't their showcase maps.
The packet burst is still crazy sometimes but I found turning all graphic settings to low or off has helped. Funnily the game doesn’t really look any worse with all the settings turned down and it’s made the packet burst much less and the hit detection better. The spawns do seem better on the 4 maps from week one, Babylon spawns are crazy but I personally don’t mind, I always liked the carnage of shipment and Babylon plays like a slightly bigger shipment. I know what I’m getting into when I play that map so it doesn’t bother me that much. I like the jackel nerf, people actually use other guns now. I also like the killstreaks not being so crazy like they were in the OG mw2 or bo2, but I think I’m in the minority of people when it comes to not liking OP killstreaks. Overall I think it’s a fun game now and should get better with time. If they can figure out how to stop the packet burst completely then I wouldn’t really have anything to complain about.
2:09 skips, freezes and stutters did happen on Early Access Beta but I'm noticing it a lot in Open Beta. These stutters and freezes are very annoying especially when you're in a gunfight.
I genuinely never had a worse experience with CoD than this beta and it is mindblowing to me how people enjoy this game. I feel like the people who actually enjoy this game are in an abusive relationship with it and are mentally ill.
For real, every time I watch a video about CoD, I ask myself how do you find the kind of lobbies shown in min 1:00... I have +4KD in BF, +2KD in MW3 and I only face streamers or diamonds players. I've become better, but I can't have a relaxed game... Let's not talk about facing really good players with strong aim assist while I'm on M&K.
Game feels 100x better this weekend than last weekend to me. I havent had any of these stutters on either weekend so idk whats going on there. Spawns feel better to me on Skyline at least but are still pretty rough overall.
The beta is also now capping me at 29 saying i'm "max level". What a disgrace. From packet bursts, rigged spawns, god awful ttk, and even more packet bursts, you would think these so called "AAA developers" could get their shit together and have the game function at the most basic and fundamental level, but no that's asking too much apparently. I love the new omnimovement but the positive aspects dont come even close to outweighing the negatives this time. Call of Duty is a fucking circus for clowns, and I've about had enough
My major criticism: smgs have a 2x scope. They're nice. Assault rifles? No 2x optics. It doesn't make much sense. Close range, 2x scope. Mid range, 4x, and 3x late in unlock. Bizarre. I would like the 2x on AR's. The Kepler Red Dot (iirc is an excellent 2x) Belongs in assault, too. Tend to run iron sights when the gun has iron sights that aren't obstructive, but the 2x on an smg is mighty fun. The only real problem I experienced in week 1: screen stutters when taking damage. Haven't experienced it once this weekend. No de sync, I don't think. It's difficult for me to tell sometimes. Spawns are flipping in odd ways still, but it's not unbearable. Quite honestly, my experience is better than most games on release date. It may be luck... knock on wood. The Jackal? I used it. Though I tend to run ak74 and the mp5. Have since the first weekend. I play whatever feels fun at the moment. Usually an AR or SMG. Sometimes a DMR. Rarely touch snipers as sitting back isn't my thing. Play the objective, try to win, and don't care about stats. The Tanto .22 is quite good IF every bullet lands. Otherwise, with its ungodly slow rate of fire, you're dead. Probably useful for lower skilled players like myself to practice with. Similar to handguns. It refines your aim as there is less margin for error. As a regular use weapon.. probably not. I'm surprisingly happy with how finished it feels. Imperfect? Sure. But highly polished for a game 7 weeks out.
It feels hit or miss and still has the lag stutter and bad experiences where one team seems to be getting insta deleted while the other team is doing amazingly

Really liking the game. I do have insane packets burst that happens every 10-20 seconds. So long as they can get this sorted the game will be very good. Spawns feel better, but need a lot of work still. Weapon balancing as well, smgs feel very strong and rapid fire feels like a crutch attachment
@@BlvckPhantomim on oc and get packet burat everytime i die but it goes away after i spawn, and what i have heard its not internet problem but cpu problem when game randomly spikes cpu usage to 100% packet burst happens and only way to fix this is either play with the settings and mostly use low settings or try to find most optimal settings for the specs you have. Game is horribly optimised for pc same as mw3 was. Even with quite good rig, you still need to lower all cpu settings and maybe even some of the gpu settings and game looks quite bad with most detail settings on low
Unfortunately to me, spawns are still at a very rough stage even not considering Babylon. Last night I had a game on Skyline where I got killed the moment I spawned 3 times in a row. And those 3 spawns are: our base spawn -> enemy base spawn -> our base spawn. Judging from the fact that some teammates also spawned with me, I can only assume this is happening because spawn fliped 3 times within half a minute.
I watched some of Futives gameplay from the beta, and now I'm seeing it in ace's gameplay: controller users are hitting moving targets without actually being on target. 2:45 the guy is sliding, I watched it in slowmotion: the crosshair is off throughout the whole tracking process, yet all bullets are connecting. 3:39 again, way off target, yet constant hitmarkers. In Futives video he is also getting consistent shots on target without his crosshair moving at all on targets that are actually evading shots left and right like crazy. What is this?

I’ve been having the same issue with having to empty a half a clip into an enemy, but I get shot a couple times and it’s a wrap. I know this is a beta, but this game is trash. It’s only a matter of time before hackers and cheaters ruin the game like they have in every one of shit games. Activision will never do anything about it. Their efforts have been minimal at best. They’re more worried about selling some dumb skins, vault edition or the lame battle pass. Fuck this game

I get packet burst almost every other gunfight and getting ps4 frames. I’m gonna switch to Xbox because this game is so bad on PC. I would be having a blast if it wasn’t for my game crashing and glitching and lagging every 20 seconds.

This game is just Go Go Go. Evertime I kill someone in front of me, I immediately have to turn around and get ready for the next gun fight. People slide from ever direction. It's hard to stay alive. And then it seems like it takes so many bullets to kill. It's getting tiring real fast
I think with the different maps at launch it will give players more breathing room bc it does feel insanely fast on the few we got but I’m sure they’ll iron out the spawns and hopefully they can give players a bit of room to breath

Revenge spawns and the recon perk also contribute. Holding a choke point or power position is basically obsolete since enemies get a free wall hack off of spawn and there's no counter perk or even worse will spawn closer to you with said perk.
That’s treyarch’s (treylane’s)signature play style with the predictable smaller ’3 lane’ map design. Don’t move far off the spawn and you should be able to find a spot with cover like a crate where you can trap guys spawning and guys rushing towards you. Trick is do like you said and keep turning 180, do this back and forth between the spawn and lane. You should last 10-15 seconds longer than before😅
U can't fix the spawn issue. They (Treyarch) said all the maps are small and medium so won't be any bigger than what they have now. Spawns can't be fixed because there's always a few idiots running to the opponents spawn and flipping spawns. Maps are too small to not even do it. @@cameronmilhouse740

Downloaded the PS5 version and it's smooth in comparison at 120Hz, very odd.
This game feels like it's for players that only play the small maps playlist in MW3. They should seriously consider switching to 5v5 if they can't figure out how to improve the spawns. I'll rent the game for the campaign, but I think I'm gonna go with Delta Force and Marvel Rivals for that multiplayer fix.

1 match in Babylon it was a spawn trap and it broke the spawns. It wouldn't flip at all, but it's just a beta.

I'm in your group where I'm getting Packet Bursts constantly and my bullets just don't want to register, ever! Not only that, but it takes me double the amount of shots to kill for every single gun in the game, and yet my opponents kill me in 3 shots or less! This game is terrible and I am glad that I did not preorder this garbage! Also, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet run more smoothly than this game, and that is absolutely insane to me! Four years, four thousand devs!

As a slightly above average 1.2/1.3 KD player without SBMM, I feel like I get shafted the most by the system. I'm not bad enough to benefit from it or good enough to really overcome it, so I'm constantly fighting for my life just to have a 1.0 KD in these lobbies. It's exhausting.

First 5 matches I played I had 3 k/ds or higher and then my game crashed, after that it was a entirely different bracket. My friends who haven't played cod in years didn't go positive. Sbmm is wild

People complained about larger maps because the larger maps these days are awful with no flow. It’s been that way since MW2019. Even the advanced movement era didn’t have this issue nearly as much because even if the map wasn’t the best the 3 lanes kept the flow. Now it’s all small to medium maps with the fastest movement in any CoD with awful
SBMM. I really miss pre-mw2019 gameplay and maps.

Granted I’ve only played maybe 3 hours this weekend, but my experience has been just instant time to die on my end, versus a long ttk at longer ranges, wild lag spikes, and terrible spawns with constant flips. Quite often I would spawn inside the opposite spawn and just be insta deleted. If these spawns are good, last week must have been awful! I also don’t think I ever heard a footstep
This mirrors my experience with the open beta. I love the movement and guns but even with gigabit Ethernet my connection is having issues. Plus the beta maps are kinda mid, they’re not really amazing

The spawns are still egregious. On the new map I watched 5 enemies spawn right in front of me and I killed them all and the game kept spawning them right on top of me. The whole time they're raging in the death mic. So bad.

Match just began and a guy threw a grade at our spawn and killed us. Even shipment had better spawns because it knew what it was. These smaller maps want the flow of medium sized maps with the spawns of small ones.
Spawns are abysmal. The absolute worst ever. You almost need to run triple blue perks just to be ready for an immediate fight. Anywhere and or everywhere. Whether it's a team spawning on you or you spawning on another team. Just feels like you hardly get a chance to catch your breath and get a sense for the game. Feels like I can barely look at and assess the score, map, and loadout. But something far worse and more rage inducing happened to me last night. The game spawned me behind an afk teammate for the 1st time. I was literally body blocked spawn trapped inadvertently by my own teammate. At a key moment in the game to where we needed to clutch up. If I wasn't playing with a friend I probably would have ragequit. It would be unfair to blame the match loss on that 1 situation, but sure as hell didn't help
Every map is small. The breakneck pace leaves no room for strategy. Avg life span 5-15s. Not a fan. Garbage call of duty year again 😢

The stuttering is completely out of control. Some matches it's literally every other second. I have to quit the match. Spawns are god awful. Desync. It's a major issue for me now. Wasn't beta week 1. And I find a lot of the basic features. Luge just reloading your gun. Seem to take far too long. In a game that's so fast paced. They need to speed up reloading across the board. Then fast hands should make it even faster still. The silly glitch where you can't call in streaks is still there too. For a game with a 4 year development cycle. I think this is unacceptable. This beta has the most game destroying bugs off any cod I can remember . Worst thing is I actually enjoy the base game when it works as intended
I think the killstreak bug is just that you have to press down on the dpad on controller not sure about pc. No idea why but that works for me
EOMM is the “cancer” of COD. If they don’t remove it, it will end up killing the franchise… It’s all I have to say.

Yeah and the CFH Barrel doesn’t really improve the TTK on most weapons. AR’s also have a steep damage drop off, which makes them like slower submachine guns. The submachine guns really benefit from the omni movement system too, making the Jackal and MP5 OP right now. Every time I try holding an angle with an AR, someone with the Jackal darts around a corner and sprays me. I respawn, live about 15 seconds, and die again. Considering how hectic the omni movement is, the headshot multiplier should be HIGHER than other games because it’s going to be hard to consistently hit the head.

As someone who didn’t play week one I have to say the spawns on every single map EXCEPT Babylon, especially skyline and derelict, control is non existent in my lobbies and the descync is fucking crazy, it’s caused me to constantly get outgunned by SMGs at ranges they shouldn’t be and this honestly just feels terrible as a game to play
Packet Burst. Connection. Spawns. Bigger Maps.
1.GUNFIGHT SYNC: I get the opposite, takes all day sometimes to kill someone while I get shredded in no time. I've sat and watched the kill cam to see what they are doing that I am not, and I shoot first hit a head shot then the rest upper body meanwhile person that kills me hit my feet and legs and were using the same gun. makes no sense.
2. MOVEMENT: movement is terrible my settings were imported from MW3 why am I not moving like that, I tried messing with the settings, copying people and all I do is crouch all the damn time now instead of slide canceling. I shouldn't need to change IMPORTED SETTINGS which still doesn't even work.
3.SKIPS AND STUTTERS: The game has been relatively smooth, there will be at most a couple of times where it studders as soon as i get in a gunfight and no other time.
4. SPAWNING: has been like this since MW3 for me, I have a high SPM and slightly above average KD despite spawning like this the whole game, every game. It's fucking terrible and I want to lose to gun fights. Not because you spawned me into the ADS'd snipers scope 3 times in a row. Also, there should be no fucking way I'm in the play of the game getting killed twice because of spawning right back to the person that just killed me. Spawning in Gala to not even take a step before someone camping middle uptop is one of the worst offenders.
5. WEAPONS: The attachments don't feel like they increase ADS/Sprint to fire movement speed, if i try to make a max speed build in this game I'm still way to close to the speed of a player not running what I have. MW3 you can have a 99 m/s ads on the static smg and reengage a lot faster or quiet often get two kills very quick in MP
6.WEAPON SWAPS: I don't use secondaries hardly ever so no opinion
7. FOOTSTEP AUDIO: no complaints
***MW3 BONUS*** : I get the most try hard movement god YY lobbies, I have not in my entire COD play time done a YY. I don't even do this stuff and I keep getting these lobbies of guys that don't miss and teammates that all score worse than me every game, like if I did no objectives I would lose EVERY game. Meanwhile you have people like futives and Korean savage with probably an 8 KD getting brainless lobbies where they miss damn near all their shots or seemingly don't even see them and always caught by surprise. SBMM/EOMM is bullshit and the main reason after terrible spawns why I won't be buying this crap unless I see MAJOR improvements. Tired of SBMM/EOMM setting me up to fail/die and now I'm sitting on a negative KD in the match like I'm ass with 22 days of playtime, fuck out of here.

The settings CAN be fixed to make it more fluid, however I did notice with the Tanto smg I do end up crouching like you're saying but with any other smg I'm not noticing it as much. As far as the first point of yours, 100% this is my issue I'm having and I can't stand it

Strafing is key. The strafing feels very fast like overwatch. People be doing too much with the movement when all u need is some strafing. I experimented where I just did AD strafing and a lot of players had trouble tracking. This is my observation as a PC player.
The fact that they seem to need real playtime data just to get basic spawn logic in place makes me really nervous about launch since there's a lot of maps we haven't played yet. Could be a rough first week or two.

I agree that weekend #2 has been better. However, my biggest worry and complaint:
Can we please have more median to large maps instead of all these small ones during the full release. The game is enjoyable when everyone isn’t constantly on top of each other. Some people want the chaos all the time and that’s fine but let’s have more variety.

The maps in this game are probably the worst maps Treyarch has made. They are too small and too chaotic.
Derelict feels way too narrow making it almost feel like a 2 lane map or a chaotic battlefield with how open engagements can be between the lanes in the middle.
Scub is probably the most normal map that is just plagued by the headglitch spots at the satelite.
Skyline is pretty great but still feels a bit small because how fast you can move but it's okay.
Babylon is basically a new Shipment that makes no sense to have in regular 6v6 since we have Face Off.
If the other maps are all as chaotic and small as these we are in for a bad year. This game is designed for the wrong crowd. I used to be annoyed by Treyarch making more competitive focused maps but oh boy were they a lot better than this.
The awful spawns don't help either but I guess it is inevitable with these maps and the speed of the players
My experience has been in line with yours, other than the stutters. After I made sure there wasn't anything else running on my PC, soooper buttery smooth. Some of my best Cod gameplay in a while.
Saying "it plays much better than last weekend" really paints a picture if it's THIS bad now.

@@AD-sg9trthat's odd but to Ace's point everyone's experience seems to be different. On my PS5 I've had a few games last weekend and this weekend with lag (zero packet bursts) but 98% are incredibly smooth.
Spawns and connection consistency are the two biggest things keeping me from completely enjoying the game. One match im melting ppl and it feels so good then the next game i feel like im shooting pellets and getting insta melted. I've just learned to deal with the fact that sbmm will be cranked to 11 at all times for me.
It's funny how people would complain about loud footsteps in mw19 and mw2 but now want louder footsteps. Iv seen multiple people ask for louder footsteps
U cant just make people go through the bullshit, make them get used to it and then again remove the bullshit and now they have to readjust again. The readjustment takes effort and energy and they r not having it
I've noticed the spawns have changed somewhat. Some better, some worse. This being the second weekend I've also noticed a much larger amount of omnimovement spammers. I'm just an old man that plays a kid's game but in my opinion omnimovement is just an annoying gimmick. It's like the new jet boots or whatever that was called back with BO2 or whichever game that was. The new submachine gun is a POS as well.
I get to play BO6 for free with Gamepass, and still have no drive to play it after this and last weekend. Felt like I would get Packet Burst every time I got into a gunfight no matter what range.

Shaping up to be easily the worst treyarch game in franchise history. I usually look forward to the treyarch games, but at a fundamental level this does not play anything like a treyarch title. The maps we have seen are terrible, the addition of tac sprint ruins map flow and spawns (as it has for years), the movement is fine but on top of egregious desync it feels like you need to constantly abuse it. I was very good at BOCW and liked that game a lot, and it's crazy how this is a night and day difference in just about every category.
This game is way better than Cold War so far.

They totally hit the mark with the footstep audio. I can just chill and play respawn coming out of my TV speakers and not be at a huge disadvantage. Ninja and Ghost being in the same perk category is a no-brainer and great to see too.

@@jey7230 bud, I am not going to level up every gun to level 50. It's a beta, so I want to play with every gun. And if the Jackal without attachments competes at mid range with the ARs and wins at close range, that's an issue. No AR should be a 5 shot kill at close range. None.
I feel like I can’t breathe with these maps. Every time I spawn I have maybe a second or two before seeing an enemy and get insta deleted. Somehow I already feel burnt out
I really don’t like how almost every gunfight I get into, thanks to SBMM, people are playing as if they’re in CoD champs. I hate how almost every close up gunfight which is a majority since most of the maps are small to close range medium sized maps, enemies are sliding into each engagement. It’s irritating that that’s what is determined who wins a gunfight, who slid better.
Take it from me, I'm no shottzy but I have definitely far above average movement and slide/ jump shot everywhere but I lose gun fights so much because of desync when I should be getting peekers advantage. It doesn't work for us all

The 2nd week is absolute hot garbage tbh...1st week was just only fair. Maps wayyyyyy too small, needs to be medium to large maps, especially with this movement. Not a fan of this. Gun play feels good and smooth though...but that's about the only plus in my eyes...
Gunplay literally feels identical to Vanguard, maybe even worse. Every AR/SMG/LMG feels the same. The CIGMA is barely usable. There's way too much sway and view bobbing.

Surprisingly I haven't had issues other than the spawns.
Usually I have packet bursts among other connection issues but this, so far, has been the only CoD game where this hasn't been an issue. (Ps5)

Been feeling like I run into a lot of enemies in a majority of gun fights feels like I’m always seeing 2,3 or 4 enemies when I encounter them not a ton of breathing room in this game
I only played it this weekend and I freaking love it. Probably my favorite feeling CoD ever.
Controls are better than they ever have been with more customization to fine tune it exactly how you want. I have sprint assist turned on with 0ms delay, 20 sensitivity with the Reverse S Curve aiming. Feels amazing to me. 120fps mode, too.
I love the weapon attachment system too. Easily my favorite in the series. Every attachment is good and it comes down to picking the ones you like without having to worry about tons of side effects.
I had no intention of picking this one up but I fell in love with this beta

The maps need complete overhauls. None of them support the intended gameplay loop in the slightest, aside from their extremely angular design that makes flying around corners an absolute must.
This isn’t the treyarch I fell in love with all those years ago. The game is awful. I’m praying zombies has classic mode coming back or I’m gonna regret not cancelling my preorder.

One aspect I noted is that the ‘swap speed’ when using the combat axe seems quite slow. Gets me killed more often than not in CQB scenarios. Also the absence of aim assist in these situations is very noticeable. Essentially , when i stay alive pulling out the axe, I often miss the throw. Even in situation when in older COD iterations it would have been a kill quite ‘comfortably’.
Overall, this is the first Tryarch game I enjoy since BO2.

I just hate the oart where when your halfway decent...they put you on a team with 5 bad players and you cant win or you lose by 2-5 points on HP and Dom. Another thing is the amount of players that dont know about spawn flipping makes me want to scream.
It's much worse. SBMM is in full swing, Packet Burst is in full swing. And so are the cheaters.
It feels like Treyarch got instructed in late development to implement some MW elements into their game and it’s causing so many connection and gameplay problems. Even the CW beta wasn’t this bad
MnK player here. Player movement is horrible on MnK. I am getting outplayed easily in a gunfight in long range due to packet bursts. Played MW3 to compare overall experience regarding movement and its much stable, camera not shaking af. BO6 does not do the thing for me. Definitely not buy at the moment.
MnK movement is hella smooth for me with the tac sprint assist on 0 delay
To be honest, I quit after 2 hours. The „shoot first die first“ netcode is utterly unbearable. Game feels like 120% speed - way too much movement…
I think the audience playing this weekend also have less interest in the "meta"- the Jackal is still obviously an insanely good gun but it seems like more are AT LEAST trying new weapons
I am having the opposite feeling this time. Last weekend was a great experience. This weekend I got to level 30, struggling and now stopped playing. The gun fights feel like I am playing in a room full of lag switchers. For those who can remember those fun days. Almost every gun fight I freeze. I really do enjoy this COD. Now if they can get this part fixed.
For a casual gamer such as me, it's a terrible experience. Everyone is so sweaty that it feels like I' playing on a championship final. I don't ser myself having any kind of fun in this game.

It's actually a nightmare for good players too. I'm one and basically I'm playing against top 250 players from MW3, I stopped sweating my balls off on MW3 ranked and I'm force to play ranked on BO6...

the Dsync has followed how you mentioned it for me and opposite for my friends so I'm actually enjoying the game where as they are not to the point they ragequit after a few games which was how I felt week 1 so dsync definitely still needs work overall

I’m having the complete opposite experience of most people. The first weekend I was getting shredded, a lot of bad desync. This week feels smoother and I’m killing it.
The first weekend was good too but because it actually is a whole new game, people needed to get the hang off it in the beginning this is no rocket science.. and the majority of the people who say it's the same game every year 🤢 they all a bunch off sheap without an own opinion. They don't even know what they are talking about and why even. They want the same experience as back when they had they're first cod grinds when it was actually new as in never seen before.. well we've never seen omnimovement before.. and there's a whole bunch of other crap added to this game as well so what do you want more? Rollerblades or laserswords or something?? I don't get it..if you really don't like it that it's basically the same game every year, then maybe you should consider to buy a game that hasn't call of duty in the title..🤔 cause chances are if you buy one of these games you will probably end up playing this game it's called Call Of Duty🤦♂️ like as in a tonyhawk's pro skater game you always gonna end up being a pro skater.. the people that play fifa are getting a newgame every single year.. they play the same map for about 30years allready and still they have no complaints.... I am the same it much better but there is still some games where the desync feels bad but that was few and far between.
The movement in Warzone is still faster than in BO6. Sliding, mantling, slide canceling. It feels more fluid in WZ.
It's awful! frame pacing micro stutters, larger network stutters, getting melted (whilst landing 6-7 hit markers), Maps are bad, Spawns are bad. It feels like Treyarch are now having to work under IW because it's the new engine, doesn't feel Treyarch enough.

Last enjoyable beta I had map-wise was BO3. The maps had so much personality to them while still feeling organic as a 3 lane. Even XD maps had more personality. I hope these aren't their showcase maps.

SBMM is too strong. Performance is way worse on Series X compared to weekend 1.
The packet burst is still crazy sometimes but I found turning all graphic settings to low or off has helped. Funnily the game doesn’t really look any worse with all the settings turned down and it’s made the packet burst much less and the hit detection better. The spawns do seem better on the 4 maps from week one, Babylon spawns are crazy but I personally don’t mind, I always liked the carnage of shipment and Babylon plays like a slightly bigger shipment. I know what I’m getting into when I play that map so it doesn’t bother me that much. I like the jackel nerf, people actually use other guns now. I also like the killstreaks not being so crazy like they were in the OG mw2 or bo2, but I think I’m in the minority of people when it comes to not liking OP killstreaks. Overall I think it’s a fun game now and should get better with time. If they can figure out how to stop the packet burst completely then I wouldn’t really have anything to complain about.

2:09 skips, freezes and stutters did happen on Early Access Beta but I'm noticing it a lot in Open Beta. These stutters and freezes are very annoying especially when you're in a gunfight.
Same I only ran into that issue occasionally in Weekend 1, but it has been consistently happening in nearly every game I have played in Weekend 2

For real, every time I watch a video about CoD, I ask myself how do you find the kind of lobbies shown in min 1:00... I have +4KD in BF, +2KD in MW3 and I only face streamers or diamonds players. I've become better, but I can't have a relaxed game... Let's not talk about facing really good players with strong aim assist while I'm on M&K.

IMO Footsteps are very good in this new game. They are NOT too loud, but they seem to be very discernible and accurate when you do hear them.
The beta is also now capping me at 29 saying i'm "max level". What a disgrace. From packet bursts, rigged spawns, god awful ttk, and even more packet bursts, you would think these so called "AAA developers" could get their shit together and have the game function at the most basic and fundamental level, but no that's asking too much apparently. I love the new omnimovement but the positive aspects dont come even close to outweighing the negatives this time. Call of Duty is a fucking circus for clowns, and I've about had enough

My major criticism: smgs have a 2x scope. They're nice. Assault rifles? No 2x optics. It doesn't make much sense. Close range, 2x scope. Mid range, 4x, and 3x late in unlock. Bizarre. I would like the 2x on AR's. The Kepler Red Dot (iirc is an excellent 2x) Belongs in assault, too. Tend to run iron sights when the gun has iron sights that aren't obstructive, but the 2x on an smg is mighty fun.
The only real problem I experienced in week 1: screen stutters when taking damage. Haven't experienced it once this weekend.

Quite honestly, my experience is better than most games on release date. It may be luck... knock on wood.
The Jackal? I used it. Though I tend to run ak74 and the mp5. Have since the first weekend. I play whatever feels fun at the moment. Usually an AR or SMG. Sometimes a DMR. Rarely touch snipers as sitting back isn't my thing. Play the objective, try to win, and don't care about stats. The Tanto .22 is quite good IF every bullet lands. Otherwise, with its ungodly slow rate of fire, you're dead. Probably useful for lower skilled players like myself to practice with. Similar to handguns. It refines your aim as there is less margin for error. As a regular use weapon.. probably not.
I'm surprisingly happy with how finished it feels. Imperfect? Sure. But highly polished for a game 7 weeks out.
Close to getting a Chopper Gunner on the new map and then 4 enemies spawn 5 ft away from me and insta kill me
It feels hit or miss and still has the lag stutter and bad experiences where one team seems to be getting insta deleted while the other team is doing amazingly
Definitely still seeing the Jackal run rampant on PC. The nerfs were welcomed but it still seems to be over-performing at least in my bracket.

Really liking the game. I do have insane packets burst that happens every 10-20 seconds. So long as they can get this sorted the game will be very good. Spawns feel better, but need a lot of work still. Weapon balancing as well, smgs feel very strong and rapid fire feels like a crutch attachment
Are you playing on PC? Almost everyone I know that plays on PC is having packet burst but none on console

@@BlvckPhantomim on oc and get packet burat everytime i die but it goes away after i spawn, and what i have heard its not internet problem but cpu problem when game randomly spikes cpu usage to 100% packet burst happens and only way to fix this is either play with the settings and mostly use low settings or try to find most optimal settings for the specs you have. Game is horribly optimised for pc same as mw3 was. Even with quite good rig, you still need to lower all cpu settings and maybe even some of the gpu settings and game looks quite bad with most detail settings on low

Unfortunately to me, spawns are still at a very rough stage even not considering Babylon. Last night I had a game on Skyline where I got killed the moment I spawned 3 times in a row. And those 3 spawns are: our base spawn -> enemy base spawn -> our base spawn. Judging from the fact that some teammates also spawned with me, I can only assume this is happening because spawn fliped 3 times within half a minute.
I watched some of Futives gameplay from the beta, and now I'm seeing it in ace's gameplay: controller users are hitting moving targets without actually being on target. 2:45 the guy is sliding, I watched it in slowmotion: the crosshair is off throughout the whole tracking process, yet all bullets are connecting. 3:39 again, way off target, yet constant hitmarkers. In Futives video he is also getting consistent shots on target without his crosshair moving at all on targets that are actually evading shots left and right like crazy. What is this?

I’ve been having the same issue with having to empty a half a clip into an enemy, but I get shot a couple times and it’s a wrap. I know this is a beta, but this game is trash. It’s only a matter of time before hackers and cheaters ruin the game like they have in every one of shit games. Activision will never do anything about it. Their efforts have been minimal at best. They’re more worried about selling some dumb skins, vault edition or the lame battle pass. Fuck this game
