Fly Fishing the Davidson River with Davidson River Outfitters

In this episode Wild Bearings Outdoors heads to western North Carolina and the cradle of forestry in Pisgah National Forest to fish the Davidson River with our good friend Kevin Howell of Davidson River Outfitters (DRO). We’ll explore the upper headwaters with Kevin chasing after wild trout and then head down to the managed section to find some trophies. The Davidson River is consistently listed as one of the top fly fishing destinations in the southeast year over year. As a bonus we get to spend time with Kevin an accomplished fly tier, rod builder, author, and professional guide who will show us the river and talk about DRO.
