I wish this bike had a place for a front basket. There is currently a $400 off coupon. The 2nd battery is way too expensive.

Just bought the H6s. Same 1000w motor & 4 piston breaks as H6 max. Only significant difference between S & Max is S comes std. with 36ah battery instead of 40ah for the max. The other difference is the display doesn't have find my bike feature or navigation. The price of the S is lower currently $1699. plus $400. discount bringing price to $1299. & no sales tax. This is a really good value on a quality bike. I just discovered something which may be helpful with the h6s. The manual shows a USB C port on the display. That is incorrect the USB port is on the touchpad.
I have the H6S and my brother has the max and you and I picked the better option because of the. Yl80 display that comes on our S model. We can actually go into the settings page 8 and up the power on ours where as with the displays on the max when you change the settings it doesn't make the bike faster it actually limits the bike and makes it a little slower . I get a weird noise that comes and goes on the rear tire but it may be rubbing on the brake every now and then. Plus the vibration on the front light on low pas modes sometimes makes noises. I'm dreading flipping it to take the tire off in the back tho.lol
@@acerkrt I've taken the back tire off to change a flat. Fold down the handlebar,take the seat off(so you won't damage it when you flip the bike over). Take the battery out to make the bike lighter. Lay the bike on its side then flip it over. The bike will rest on the handlebar shaft. This protects your display,touchpad etc. from being in contact with the ground. You will need to take off the back 4 piston brake that holds the back brake disc. There are two screws that hold it in place.

I have 4 Ebikes now starting from a 250 watt mountain bike to a electric xp1 then a engweep2 pro to the H6S and this is really what I've expected a bike to be able to do before I got into them . Really impressed with the H6S model. I had buyers remorse because of the 36 ah battery at first compared to my brothers 60 but I don't think I could ride enough in one day to use up 36 ahs of battery. Most my trips are 16 mile day trips or less and even when I do the 20 mile trips my battery is still at 4 or 5. . Only thing id mod or change is the light. I don't get the cage across the front lamp that gives the pattern style lighting. I'm wondering if that gage could be removed of the light or even cut so that the light is one beam instead of a pattern style with the shadows the cage causes . Be safe on your rides bro.
@@acerkrt I am getting over 100 miles on a charge. I ride mostly in pedal assist 2. The power of this bike for the price is also great. A 1000w motor peaking at 1600w. Top speed I get is 33mph.
It''s very light for a 2 seater. I think I'd prefer 2 20ah batteries without the large one, until I take a huge trip, or have commercial all day work. Does same charger work for both batteries? The battery arrangement seems to make this a good/fast commuter while transforming into cargo or extreme range use. Needs bigger crank.

great review..thanks..lol as to the welds, they look good to me. i'm a pretty good welder and they are almost perfect. they also have good penetration, so they will hold. remember, a person does the welding, not a machine, and they don't have all day to weld a frame....lol

Range seems to be all over the place with this bike. Some reviews are saying they get about 35- 40 miles, mostly throttle, medium speeds and that's with the dual battery setup. While here, you've gone 50 miles with single battery and avg higher speeds.

That’s a difficult question So many variables I ordered the h9 40ah I figured I add the 20ah battery in the frame for 60ah Pricy maybe but will give me options on range and replacing a 60ah would be prohibitive Range could be anywhere from 60-120 miles I’m guessing

@@ElectricVehicleSpace it is safer to buy a Lithiumsafe box instead of a bag. The bags will not contain the fire of a battery with this much capacity. You really need a certifies box like Zarges or Lithiumsafe to have no fire spread in case of thermal runaway, especially with non UL certified batterys. Be safe out there and have fun!

I’ve ridden over 100 miles personally in a single day, on a single full charge on my Ariel Rider Grizzly. It only has 35ah 52v at full charge. I’ve ridden through water filled ditches without any problems. You put 60ah on it, and I’d bet I could ride right around 200 miles on a single charge. Now, I am talking about pedaling in power assist mode, but that does not change the results. The only thing this bike has over mine, not that I dislike it, on the contrary, I’d have bought it over the grizzly if this model had been out at the time, is the price. I was looking for speed, range and off-road capability. I pull a teardrop camper behind it sometimes, and haven’t found a hill it couldn’t climb. It has been worth every penny. I run DoorDash with it. DD paid for it, and it has more than paid for itself since. I’m very happy with it. I may buy this one for my wife. She doesn’t like riding tandem off-road.
@@michaeltrinh5279 no doubt. As I said, if this model had been out when I was buying, I’d have bought this one. That said, I have zero regrets about my grizzly. It handles the off road better than a lot of dirk bikes do. It just can’t compete with 60ah of battery. At least not stock. I’m get a 40-45ah full body battery custom made for it. Then it will.
I have a friend that bought this bike for commuting and charges once every 10 days. Also I meet at least 5 delivery guys that bought this model for NYC deliveries. One rider told me that about 40 new Yorkers bought this model because of the video review I made and there a big demand for this type of battery size and type of e-bike for food deliveries.
Sometimes, it's just about how often u have to charge the battery. My ebike has a range of 80 miles. Of course, I never have a need to go that far. However, I only have to charge it no more than once a week compared to others that may have to charge theirs every other day. It's a convenience factor, especially if they take 6+ hrs to charge full.

@@michaeltrinh5279 no doubt. As I said, if this model had been out when I was buying, I’d have bought this one. That said, I have zero regrets about my grizzly. It handles the off road better than a lot of dirk bikes do. It just can’t compete with 60ah of battery. At least not stock. I’m get a 40-45ah full body battery custom made for it. Then it will.

I don’t get why would you need 100+ miles of range. It’s not like you should ride this thing for 100+ miles straight.
I have a friend that bought this bike for commuting and charges once every 10 days. Also I meet at least 5 delivery guys that bought this model for NYC deliveries. One rider told me that about 40 new Yorkers bought this model because of the video review I made and there a big demand for this type of battery size and type of e-bike for food deliveries.
That's not the point. It means you can ride to your heart's content and NEVER have range anxiety, no matter how long you CHOOSE to ride
The less you have to charge your battery the longer the battery life you’ll have
Sometimes, it's just about how often u have to charge the battery. My ebike has a range of 80 miles. Of course, I never have a need to go that far. However, I only have to charge it no more than once a week compared to others that may have to charge theirs every other day. It's a convenience factor, especially if they take 6+ hrs to charge full.
