Love that you made an honest attempt to connect with something that would push most people away. I'm truly in awe of just how Hayden's mind works and her explanation of proximity to God. I actually feel like this is equally as personal from her as any of her other work in that sense. Punish, Vacillator, and Amber Waves all feel worth inclusion in standard playlists IMO, but I could also see myself returning to the album in full if I were in the right mood.
you were speaking my mind with your pedophilia bit, there so many faucets of our minds we dont understand and the fact we can change in just a second or a head injury is so insane. especially with the existence of pocd and other things and the connection between experiencing mental illnesses and pedophilic fantasies i feel like its something thats really kept under the rug
It took me two listens to get into it. It’s all about the vibe with this album and you really have to re wire your attention span to get into it. I love it now. You kinda have to sink into it. I think it’s more about the experience you have while listening. I think every song is great in its own way but there are only a few I’d listen to on a daily basis. But they are all great. Just not for casual listening imo.
can you react to Fete de la Vanille by Lucy Bedroque (lostrushi if you remember them from one of your vids)? it has been out for quite some time now and id like to see your reaction to this

Listening to this laying in bed, in the dark, high, was definitely an experience. Really liked it.
I love this album, but listening to it high would probably ruin me tbh haha
Real, I was in tears

Surreal listening experience with this album. I like drone music, but even I wasn't expecting to enjoy the album this much.
