> N64 Controller > Has two Z triggers, gyro, home and tab buttons Novel idea, don't get me wrong, but I'm waiting for the day this is done with a genuine N64 controller layout. Still impressive that you have so much mapped out on that few face buttons.
I got it bound even better after this stream! It now has full Engi and Spy support, 1-5 on taunts, push to talk, and even a kill bind now. I'd totally be down to try with a real 64 controller but setting that up with how much is broken on steam now might be more of a challenge then actually using it. But regardless, I thought Gyro existing on any kind of 64 Controller was absolutely wild.
@@AceTheOcarinaMaker Yeah, Steam's controller support thing gave me some hardships using both my N64+GCN to USB adapter from RaphNet and this USB N64 controller I have, and I was just trying to get it to work with RPGMaker (Turns out they run on their own controller support). I absolutely vouch for the RaphNet adapters, they're solid for letting you use certain controllers on PC or even other consoles, but they're easier to use with emulators than PC games.
@@sedij2358 Oh jeez. I fell out of the loop for a while and didn't know about that. But. All I know is that I still support Ace no matter what voice, cuz the energy is just as amazing as always. Personally though I do think it's a cute voice imo but.

I imagine some things might have to be sacrificed. This controller in the video here has 18 usable buttons. Gamecube has 12-14 depending on if you actually use the clickable buttons inside the triggers or not. And sure, Gamecube has a real Camera Stick but Gyro Motion and just 2 of the 18 buttons had that job more then covered on this 64 controller.
Steam Big Picture. For some reason the controller keeps randomly disconnecting if it's using Steam Desktop Mode. But once they are bound it works fine without it so long as a game is open. It's weird.
