You're 3 inches taller than me but I'm a good 40 pounds heavier and I had this in the LE trim last month on a road trip and I agree with what you said about the comfort level and space the Corrola has. The mpg on this sedan is on point!
The Corolla is an excellent family car, great commuter car, good road car as well for longer trips. It's high quality. Great fuel mileage. This car is built for adults!
@BrosFOURRSpeed I could only wish and imagine a new XRS, this time, with a bigger 2.5 and a 209 HP, and a six speed stick shift, and be an option to those who can't get the road-scorching GR,
You didn't say anything about the 9 speaker jbl premium audio system? I thought it's standard on the 2024 corolla xse? That thing is a big deal, you know.
Yeah hard to really showcase audio on camera. But I'm just not an audio person. Most cars all sound good to me. So my opinion wouldn't mean much. Even my old Lambo has a good audio system stock. And 99% of owners say they are awful. So this one will sound good for most buyers I'd assume
I’ve noticed in mine that if I’m behind one of those self driving bmw’s,(the ones with sensors hanging all around it) I have to give it more space before I can move otherwise the accident avoidance system activates and won’t let me move! Completely different when behind a regular car!
Why does Corolla Hatchback and Corolla Cross XSE get lumbar support, but Corolla sedan XSE gets a plate cover where lumbar should be? Odd, the sedan xse has no lumbar.
Love these little cars. Might get myself one. I was thinking Chevy Cruze 2018 redline or Honda Civic coupe 2014 all sporty looking models but this is really cool I think I'd get better gas mileage on these than the other two options and may match the civic in terms of reliability. 2018 cruze is not bad by any means however. good reliability score for that model year, whereas early cruze were notoriously bad
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think a 2018 cruze would give be the best option for my budget. New Corollas are too expensive for me, and 2014 civic would be about the same price as a 2018 cruze but here's my logic. 2014 Honda in my price budget would have higher mileage. 2018 cruze would have lower mileage and less wear and tear. Both might be similar in terms of reliability given the mileage difference and reliability difference.
@BrosFOURRSpeed I could only imagine, specially if it returned with a bigger engine, this time, with a 2.5 209 HP and a six speed stick-shift, and make it a cheaper alternative to the road-burning GR
Toyota CVT's used in Corolla are actually very reliable. They have a starting gear and then it switches to CVT. which is why it lasts much longer because most of the wear on Nissan CVTs was caused by repeated accelerations which causes strain and heat, whereas toyota found a way around this issue by implementing a gear which takes that strain completely out of the CVT system.

Yeah it's a solid choice for sure as a commuter. New Civic is a good one too

Glad you like it!
I normally don't like red cars but this one is 10/10 for me. Ruby red is sexy
Yeah this was a great spec!
Such a great review, the red is so sleek!
Thanks for checking out this review!
That red is sweet!
Yeah it was a great spec!
The videos are nice and I love it and im subbing
Thanks for the support!
this top-end trim reminds me of the hot XRS trim back in the late 2000s,
It's changed over the years a good bit!

JBL isn’t standard. My 24 XSE doesn’t have JBL.
i own 2017 xse, I'm sorry nothing beats that look since then...
Fine looking car too

How would the car in front being different effect that? That makes no sense.

will there be another hot XRS trim?
I doubt it, that's an old body style.

Really nice car but they lost me when you said CVT 👎🏻 great review nonetheless 👍🏻
Yeah lots of economy cars are like this unfortunately

Wish this come with heated steering wheel like canada. JBL would be nice. And what's up with the empty blank buttons at 4:41
Yeah that'd be nice. Not sure why there would be blanks being a higher trim
@@BrosFOURRSpeedpossibly to reduce cost of producing left and right hand drive cars. The buttons may swap sides for a right hand drive
This is a great option to a hybrid although the Civic Sport hybrid is the same $30k price.
Yeah new Civic is a great option too
will its nice car but the black rim no good and the front headligths
That's a personal preference.
I don’t know why they don’t make a “mild” version of this car with around 200hp
I believe you can get a Hybrid version
Everything is ok except the wheel low profile
What don’t you like about them?
This with an manual would be nice
Yeah that'd be cool
toyota is outdated
Are they?
@@BrosFOURRSpeedno
Then being outdated is a good thing. Just like how minivans being outdated are good… some of the only vehicles you can get with a NA V6
@@BrosFOURRSpeed the corolla's platform is outdated compared to the current gen civic.
@@wilbryest I posted a 2025 Civic review same day as this. Solid car. But I wouldn’t say they are that far apart tho.
